It's never fallen off before or since, and the dealership said it was because the bolts weren't screwed in correctly. I filed a claim and after 3 weeks, the service center has called me back once while I was unavailable, and has otherwise been unreachable and unresponsive. Today, I found out that they'd denied my claim because they "reviewed the footage and it was installed correctly", despite pictures showing the pan having fallen off. My tow and repair cost me over $350 for this failed service, and I still have not gotten a refund for the service itself. Don't come to Valvoline--try a local spot like Polly's instead for people who actually know how bolts work!
