I have been to this shop twice before. Always had great & prompt service. So when I needed to take my car back I didn't think twice about it. It's just the P/S rear door and the wheel well. That shouldn't take long. Got into a rental and I ended up keeping my rental for 32 days. Because my vehicle wasn't ready. I would call and I hardly could get Shane on the line. And when I do, he would say, yeah we should have it done by the end of the week. I would say great. You can email me if getting on the phone is harder. He said he'll email me tomorrow. Tomorrow came and went, no email. The same goes for the following day. So at this point I'm beyond pissed. I went to the shop and demanded for them to show me my car. The kinda stumbles with that one. But one of them took me. My car was missing it's tire,there was still damage on the car and the door wasn't painted. 30 days came and my insurance said they won't pay for the rental. So I told the shop they have to pick up the bill. I'm not paying for someone for his lack of motivation to get my car fixed. All of a sudden when the shop was paying for my rental, they did the work in two days! A miracle was done!! Meanwhile I was left with over $800 bill for insuring the rental due to the amount of days I had to keep it for. The rental company told me that they will talk to Shane about possibly helping me with some of the $800. How do you think that went? So no I don't recommend them. 1. Lack of communication. 2. I'm giving Automotive Services four stars, despite a few issues. I got the impression they didn't exactly have their stuff together, but in the end, they did a great job on my car, and that's what matters. First, the bad: I dropped my car off on a Monday morning, and I was told it would be done in 24-48 hours. On Tuesday afternoon, I got a call from them, asking if I wanted them to fix some scratches on the mirror as well as the main problem. I declined, and then they said they would get started on my car soon. Get started? I didn't hear from them after that, so I called Wednesday afternoon. They said it'd be another 24 hours. Then they called Thursday morning, said it "might" be done that afternoon. Finally, I called Thursday afternoon and was told it was finished and I could pick it up immediately. I decided to wait until Friday morning, but when I got there to pick it up, it was still being cleaned up and washed, so I had to wait another 10 minutes. I also got the impression that things aren't too organized in the office, as they were always running around looking for paperwork. All that said, everyone I worked with was incredibly friendly, and they offered to give me a ride to work when I dropped off my car. And most importantly, my old VW looks better than it ever has. They said they were incredibly busy this week due to all the ice-related crashes, so that being the case, I'll give them a pass for the series of unfortunate miscommunications. read more

Called Automotive Services on Friday August 2 having had no update sooner and were told that the paint color they chose was too dark and the door would have to be repainted. They said no would be working on Saturday but that someone would work on Sunday to finish the work. We still don't have our car and I'm not sure when it will be ready. These guys worked around my vacation schedule! My car was cleaned out so well it looked like it did the day I drove it off the lot!!

My husband called and made an appt to get the oil changed on the car, but when he showed up for his appt the man at the counter insisted they did not have an appt booked. Additionally, the man at the counter was rude, brusque, and refused to try to accommodate my husband despite it being their problem. My conclusion is that the people here are incompetent, and would not recommend this place to anyone. Not what I have come to expect from an AAA certified establishment. We ended up getting our oil changed at Weber Road Auto Service - much better customer service. read more

terrible place. charged me $100 , wasted almost 3 hours of my time , just to tell me some bullshit, "your motor is going bad".. "you're better off getting a new car".. AND IT WAS NOT. but after being worried and worked up over possibly having to buy a new motor for my new car, i took it to Chevy AND my mechanic shop. NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH MY MOTOR. IT NEEDED GUMOUT PUT INTO THE FUEL SYSTEM. AN UNDER $10 FIX. these people definitely took advantage of my situation and i will never be back and i will be warning friends and family in that area about their poor work. STAY SAFE AND DO NOT GET YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TAKEN. disappointed this is a AAA certified place. but the most recent award they have is from '08 so ‍ maybe they're just not up-to-date. read more

Was towed here after a bad accident on I-71. Both the driver and the owner Jeff were very nice! Jeff went above and beyond to accommodate me during a less-than-ideal situation. My insurance company declared my car a total loss, so I did not need any collision repair services. Nevertheless, I would have chosen Automotive Services if I did.
