When you get a notice for a recall, you never have a good reason to smile. It's annoying to have to go to get service done typically. Well this Ford location changed that perspective. Chandler in the service department was a class act and addressed all of my concerns and made sure I knew exactly what was going on with my vehicle. Mike Parker, one of the managers, even came out to make sure everything went smoothly with my recall services. I bought a 2024 Chevy ZR2 2500 on March 5, 2026 because my old truck was giving out. One week later, a check engine light came on and the truck went into reduced power mode. I took it back to dealership and they said I needed to take it to Chevy Autonation. Autonation Chevrolet says it will be 4-5 days til they are able to look at it. Extended warranty pays 10 days for a rental. After the 10 days rental will be out of pocket. I asked Autonation Ford about a loaner they say that can't help me because they only have 80 loaner cars and they are all being used. 3/25/2012 attempted to call the general manager per their reply to my review but It goes to a voicemail. No real help. Just bought a truck two weeks in, and now it's at their service center. Who knows how long it will be in there. Upon reading other reviews could be months. Extended warranty only pays for a 10 day rental, leaving me paying out of pocket for a rental after the 10th day. Along with truck payment but no truck. Worse experience ever!!!! We called in about a car we saw at car guru which is at this location. Told the guy we are coming he said yes come in, and we'll talk about that car. So walked in about 2hrs after that conversation and he was helping other customer. Did even care to greet us. Ok that fine! Whatever. So another guy took over, completely forgot his name. Anyways we came in at 5pm and we also wanted to trade in our car. So he sat us down and said my manager is gonna take a look at your car. So I asked while we are waiting can you get my car so I can test drive it! It's expedition max platinum. He said ok I'll be right back. And then he came back 20mnts later saying you have key to your car? So I can have my manager give you estimate, gave him the key and he said we have a brand new expedition on the lot you want to look at it. I said ok, why not. Husband was ready to spend about 80k on new car anyway. So we went and looked at it, test drove and I said how about the used expedition? The only reason I'm asking for used is because expedition takes about 50% devaluation in the first year. Anyways he went around and around and he said let's go back inside and talk numbers. So now it's about 6:30ish. I said you're gonna get the car I've been asking you about? He said well it's at our south location. Let me ask manager if I can go get it. Took about 20mnts for him to come back and said well now it's too late to go get it, but do you want to talk numbers first and if it makes sense I can get the car first thing in the morning and we can sign! At first I was very pleased with the experience, and there was a piece of mind knowing that there was a "90 day guarantee" when I bought the vehicle I was very conscientious and asked about defects and issues the vehicle might have. I was told it passed their 180 point inspection and had no issues. It has an entertainment system, that when I attempted to use, found it doesn't work. This was a week after purchase. I took it back and was told it wasn't covered by the 90 day warranty, ok well I purchased the extended warranty and was told this is the extra good one because of the type of vehicle I bought. Turns out, that also doesn't cover the issue which is going to cost over 1k to fix. I started calling at 1.5 months to see if my plates were in and was told no and if my paper plate was to expire to call back and i would be helped. At 2 months I called because numerous times because the paper plate expired and every time was transferred to title department with no answer, i left voicemails each time with no return call. Finally I talked to a manager and he said he would take care of it and would call me back which he never did. I had to go to dmv and buy a 30 day plate for 30 dollars so I wouldn't get pulled over. I have called corporate 2 times, the dealership numerous times and chatted online 2 times and keep getting told I will receive a call back which has never happened. I also have texts with my salesperson addison who has also said she will get a manager to help me and nothing happens. I called again as my 30 day dmv plate is going to expire and I will have to pay another 30 dollars to get yet another one. I was informed that Addison is now a manager and would have to help me and she will call me back which hasn't happened. Also I got a loan for the car which I payed off on 6/10. I need my plates, I cant believe how horrible the customer service has been. We went since my wife is extremely curious about the new convertible Broncos. She really likes the style, but is curious if it has all the bells and whistles that her current Nissan suv has, which has spoiled her a bit. We went just as they closed, so I understand that a little bit, but even though 5 or 6 people looked straight at us, not a single person came over and said anything, not even to say "sorry, we are closed right now". Nothing at all. Not how I'd want my staff to perform as a person in management. If I'd found this out I'd be having some discussions with my staff. One person even walked within 50 feet of us and just kept on trucking. The stock was extremely limited. They had a lot of trucks, but the Broncos numbered about 4 of them, and even the Mustangs we only saw one. This was undoubtedly the worst experience I've ever had. We purchased a new 2025 Ford Explorer and they gave us one to take home the night before to see if we liked it. While Cedric was putting on the temp tag, the drill slipped and he scratched the paint on the hatch. The next day we went to purchase our Explorer and they took the loaner, went a cleaned it then sold us that one like we would not catch on and would not notice the scratch. Then within 3 days the check engine light came on and we took it to service. Service Dept. was great but Credric was suppose to have the scratch and a dent on the door fixed. After getting the run around for two weeks from Cedric he delivered the Explorer to the house with the same scratch he caused from the plate. Then they don't even have the common courtesy to notify you when your plates come in. I would not buy another car from here if it was my last option. read more

Wow what a friendly and efficient car buying experience!!! I recent was involved in an accident that unfortunately was a total loss. With the market how it is there are barely any new cars available supply and demand the prices are also jacked up! After talking to a few dealerships, friends of friends who work at dealerships, looking through discount sites, I ended up at Autonation Ford. Before we could even walk in, Phranklin was opening the door welcoming us in. Phranklin was amazing! I felt so comfortable and was given all the tools to feel confident and prepared in my purchase. Phranklin was able to have us test drive the vehicle around the retail shops. During that time, he was able to educate me on equity and my options for vehicles including the bronco, escape, explorer and edge. Once we were settled on a price range. We went back to the finance team. Gary was hilarious and was also very insightful. Once we decided on a package he was able to offer me a great deal to keep my payments where I was fed them. I have a 2023 Ford F150. The driver side front fog light has gone out. I took my truck to Autonation Ford this morning at 8:00AM and met with one of the service technicians named Jose. The first thing he said upon seeing the light that was out was "That's gonna be a pain in the butt you're gonna have to leave the truck here. We're going to have to take the bumper off, there's a lot of work to this.' You're going to have to leave the truck with me. We've got to run a diagnostics on it to make sure there's nothing wrong with the wiring." I stated that it should be covered under warranty. I received a phone call from Jose at 10:08 AM and he stated that the wires were damaged. He stated that a squirrel or something had crawled up in there and chewed the wires. I told him my truck is in a garage every night and I have no squirrels or rodents of any kind in my garage. He stated "it happens all the time." I asked for some pictures. He sent one picture to my email, and followed up with a phone call stating that the bill would be $800.00 to repair the wiring and replace the light. It was easy to tell that they didn't want to work on my truck in the first place. The cashier was very very rude. The best part of this dealership this morning was the gentlemen that gave me a ride to my office. I picked up my truck and drive back to my office. I personally crawled under the front bumper to try and find this "chewed up" wire harness. What I did find was the plug that had come loose from the fog light. I plugged it back in and it works. If the truck was actually inspected, how could a trained technician or mechanic NOT see this plug hanging down under the fender. Be ware of scams like this. Days later I had a heavy oil leak. This is due again, to their bad repair job. They are refusing to take responsibility even though we all know the truth. If I could give this dealer a negative rating it would be -10 if the rating was from -1 being horrible and -10 this dealership's service department should be closed permanently. My experience explains why they have a 2+ rating. This is not a dealership I would use in the future and their rating clearly suggest they do not provide quality service. I have brought two trucks to this dealership for 3 years and terribly dissatisfied. This is the last repair that Ford AutoNation will do on any of our vehicles. I took a Ford F150 into the dealership because the brakes were pulsating. The service associate I was working with stated the front brakes were never touched or repaired, only the rear brakes. I questioned him stating I was sure the front brakes had been repaired but I was told that after he reviewed the history on this truck, I was wrong and this was not the case. He replaced the front brakes and also charged me for an alignment when I was told service would not be able to do the alignment on the same day. When I got the car back, the brakes were still pulsating, the issue was not resolved. When I returned the car back to the service department for the same reason, the new service associate I was working with stated she believed the issue was with the rear brakes. I am now totally confused at this point because what I am now being told by the second service associate is completely contrary to what I was told by the first service associate. The new service associate asked me if I had stated the reason why I was bringing the car in for repair because there were no "notes" on the work order. After I physically had to restrain myself, shocked and dismayed that I was being asked this question, I had to reiterate the reason for bringing in the vehicle - the brakes were pulsating. The dealer's recommendation was to redo the rear brakes because of the pulsating after the front brakes had just been repaired (twice now) and the information told to me by the previous service associate was not accurate. The cost to repair the rear brakes was initially $646 but because I was asking for credit on the front brake job that was needlessly done, the cost for the repair went up to over $800 quoted by the Service Manager. When I contacted the dealer where the truck was originally purchased, their price to repair the rear brakes was $500 ($270 brakes/pads and $90-110 for each rotor). Curious I contacted another dealer and the cost was slightly higher at $595. This is not my first experience with this dealer in taking a vehicle there for repair, getting the car back, and then having to take it back to the dealer again for the same repair because something else was done and being charged the same price or even higher price. I am stunned and in shock that this is how Ford permits their loyal customers to be treated - lied to about the unnecessary repairs and then inflate the price so they would not have to reimburse me for the extraneous work that was done. *****Confirmed today I was charged for an alignment that cannot be verified. No paperwork. However I believe that this work was never done. I am expected to believe that a mechanic would remember my vehicle 18 days after the fact confirming the alignment was done but there is no paperwork to confirm the alignment was done. I took it there on a Monday and I didn't hear back from them until Friday. They didn't loan me a car so I had to go rent a car for the week so I could get to work. Darla (the assistant service manager) is extremely rude, short and combative. She has zero customer service skills. She did not work with me to get my warranty issues resolved. To add insult to injury upon checkout she hit me with a hidden diagnostic fee that wasn't discussed prior when I dropped my vehicle off nor on the phone when I specifically asked her the total. Darla should be working in a basement doing maintenance far, far away from customer service. I'm 44 years old and have had Fords my entire life. After this experience I'll probably never buy a Ford again. Update.... I changed this from 1 star to 4 stars. Mike Parker (the service manager) worked out the issue with the diagnostic fee and gave me a refund. He has excellent customer service skills and is an excellent representative of Fort Worth Auto Nation Ford. However I stand by what I said about Darla. Customer service is not her gig. She would probably make a good butcher, because that's what she does when she attempts to make conversation with customers. Recently got a used car from this dealership. Don't even waste your time. A few weeks later I'm driving and I noticed the EPC light and oil pressure light starts blinking. Take it back to the service department (because I have a warranty) and was told they cannot check the vehicle because it's a Volkswagen and they don't have the tools to diagnose it.... So there was no point of me having a warranty to begin with. I would never go back to this dealership. I have to come out of pocket to fix my throttle body (that's the EPC light) and to fix any leaks with my oil from a third party mechanic. 13k for the car and an additional 2-3k for repairs within a month of ownership. Sorry to say that I recently visited this dealership with my girlfriend who was interested in purchasing a vehicle. Her qualifications were good and had recently paid off a vehicle and had a well above average credit score yet was hounded for a higher down payment. After spending many years in the car business I understand that the time you spend waiting while they tell you they are waiting on the best callback from a bank for you the customer is a flat out lie...what they wait for is the most profitable option for the dealership. While we as clients wait to see if we will be approved by a bank for financing we are actually waiting for the dealership to maximize their profits. We sit and wait hoping that we can get into a vehicle that conforms to our financial needs they ignore our time and prey upon our want/need for another vehicle. Appalled by the lack of respect for a clients time and situation. Someone's credit score gets hit multiple times while they troll around for a deal from a bank that fits their properly into their individual bonus structure while the entire time a good person who pays their bills and NEEDS a different vehicle to fell secure waits to pad their dealership and their own bank account. Brett and his manager should be ashamed of themselves, after being in the business for several years I know that sometimes the best thing you can do is sell a car and help somebody that needs it rather than trying to "knock their heads off"...which is actually a phrase used almost daily in every car dealership.
