Came in for an oil change... do not ever use! I have been waiting 2 1/2 hours, they just came to tell me it will be another hour plus.

I am a recent CarMax customer. I purchased a slightly used vehicle that was covered under a 60 day…read morewarranty. Here are some of the highlights of my experience. - The sales agent was knowledgeable and not pushy. - I accidentally left a few items in my trade-in and despite it being against policy to return the items after transaction is complete, this location went above and beyond to help return them. - There were a few service and cosmetic needs that were covered by the warranty and working with the service team to address those items was pleasant. The work was completed in a timely manner and my transportation needs during service work were accommodated. - One of the repairs required in cabin cosmetic work and the team identified a third-party vendor that performed the work well and with a high degree of craftsmanship. We're all just trying to get through life and dealing with challenging situations. It's never fun to need auto service but I'm a little less anxious now knowing CarMax is around the corner. Thanks to all that played a part caring for my needs. I'll be scheduling a tune-up soon! I hope leadership at this location reads this aloud in the next staff meeting so that everyone can feel appreciated.

I purchased a 2018 Audi A4 from CarMax Savannah on May 5, 2026, as a birthday gift for my…read more16-year-old daughter. As a retired Army veteran with 20 years of service and a disabled veteran, I trusted the CarMax name and expected a much different experience. Instead, our first two months of ownership have been a nightmare. Within days of purchase, we discovered the vehicle had been sold with incorrect wheel and tire sizes. Shortly after, the air conditioning system failed, and the vehicle spent more than six weeks in CarMax's possession for repairs. When we finally got the vehicle back, my daughter was the first person to discover cockroaches coming out of the air vents, doors, trunk, and interior of the vehicle. The infestation was severe enough that eggs were found and videos had to be taken. The vehicle was immediately returned to CarMax. As of writing this review, my family has been without normal use of this vehicle for approximately 56 of the first 72 days of ownership, with the vehicle spending more than 50 days in CarMax's possession for repairs and remediation. The most frustrating part wasn't even the vehicle problems--it was the communication. Multiple customer relations cases were opened and, to my understanding, closed without resolution or notification. On July 15 and again on July 16, I was told my vehicle was ready for pickup. After driving 40 minutes to the dealership, I was informed that the vehicle was not there and that the calls had been sent in error. After all of this, the compensation offered for months of inconvenience, loss of use, time away from work, and repeated trips to the dealership was a full tank of gas. As a veteran, I understand that mistakes happen. What matters is accountability and making things right. I wasn't looking for special treatment because I'm a veteran or a disabled veteran. I was simply expecting honesty, communication, and customer service. I sincerely hope CarMax corporate reviews this situation and works toward a better outcome because no family should spend most of their ownership period without access to the vehicle they purchased, and no parent should have to watch their child become afraid to drive the car that was supposed to be her birthday gift.

I had an outstanding experience with Critz BMW and couldn't be more impressed with their level of…read moreservice. From start to finish, everything was efficient, professional, and incredibly customer-focused. Joe, my service advisor, was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire process seamless. I was especially impressed that he was able to quickly assess what my car needed just by accessing information from my key fob--such a smart and convenient use of technology. While I waited, I received a video via text from the mechanic who inspected my car. He walked me through everything underneath--showing that my tires and brake pads were in great condition and pointing out any areas of concern. That level of transparency and communication was a fantastic touch and really built trust. When it turned out that some additional (and necessary) work wouldn't be completed the same day, they even arranged an Uber for me to get home. Throughout the entire process, I received timely text updates explaining what the car needed, the costs involved, and the progress being made. I picked up my car the next day without any hassle. After dealing with a few disappointing experiences at independent mechanics in Savannah, this was truly refreshing. The professionalism, communication, and customer care at Critz BMW set a new standard for me. I will absolutely be a returning customer.

I bought a car from here one year ago and they failed to tell me about a cracked windshield which I…read moretold them about approximately 2 weeks after buying the car. Not to mention they gave me a dirty car so I couldnt tell there was a crack. When I asked if they can repair it they said there was never a crack in it and it was my doing. They also never mentioned a tire that has been plugged in; which I had to get a whole new tire because most places wont do two plug ins on one vehicle. Now Ive been turned down 3 times from them where they told me this was all my fault so I never called about my new pre collision malfunction hazard light that started showing up 6 months after buying the car until 30 days after my dealer warranty expired. So they won't help me with that. In total my new car which is supposed to be a reliable toyota camry has been nothing but a headache. In one year I've had about 2k dollars in damage, and I dont even know how much this pre caulsion malfunction is going to cost. They wont work with you, don't go!
