I purchased a new to me 2017 Subaru, I have owned for 2 months now as I was told they would fix a headlight that was not working "I spent almost 4 hours to rewire it myself" after waiting almost 4 weeks. So now I just got it out of the shop because it had what I thought was a little misfire problem but after I paid over $1100 come to find out both fuel pumps and the EGR are bad and have been since before I purchased it apparently. I would definitely not go back with the stuff I have had to deal with now and they have made zero effort to make anything right. *UPDATE: August 2024 It's have been well over a year and I have put over $5,000 in this car with no end insight and have still not heard from this dealership after the reply to have someone contact me. Consider going elsewhere. We purchased a vehicle here 3 weeks ago and it already does not run. When running a search on the vehicle before purchase, we saw there were some recalls on traction control. we inquired about this and were told the vehicle had been thoroughly checked for recalls and there were no issues. Less then one week later, the car light was showing this issue needs to be serviced. I have also attempted to reach the person who sold me this vehicle several times to ask a simple question about my transaction and still have not received a response. read more

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!! They do not stand behind anything they promise. 30 days later I have no title paperwork processed and am unable to register my vehicle. I have waited on hold with "customer service" for hours to be hung up on. I have talked to 2 different salesmen, Dominic and another, who will have somebody "call me back", no calls. My salesman won't answer text messages, Matthew Donaghue. I had to replace the battery two weeks after purchase, my rear bumper fell off driving down the road, bolts must have been left loose. Repair shop says both front wheel hubs need replaced after balancing the tires and cannot get anybody to respond. This place is a money grab and then ghosts you. BUYER BEWARE! I was presented with only one key fob at the conclusion of my purchase of a used 2020 Toyota Prius on March 27th, 2025. No mention was made of only a single fob available in the AutoSavvy ad listing, interaction with sales rep Cole Austin by phone/email/and in person, nor was there mention of it in any sales documents. I was handed one fob as I prepared to depart. When I asked where the other fob was, I was told there was only one. Thinking an extra fob might cost $25 or so, and being in a hurry to make the long drive home, I did not argue the point. When I took the car into Toyota of Bellingham for service, I was absolutely stunned to find out that a replacement fob would be about $500. I was further shocked to learn that if our only fob was lost, the car would have to be towed to a dealership for reprogramming and fob replacement. Estimated cost was $1,200 - $1,500. Needless to say, getting the fob replaced was not an option. The dealership gave me a military discount, but my cost was still over $450. I feel like I was not treated fairly due to the lack of disclosure regarding the missing fob. I would not have purchased the vehicle for the price I paid, or not at all, had I been properly appraised. In addition, the car had not been properly repaired. I directed Toyota of Bellingham to perform a post purchase inspection of the 2020 Prius. They gave the car a thorough inspection and found that the left horn was inoperative due to improper repair of wiring. A cheap aftermarket connector was used, resulting in wiring separation. During the repair process, various missing or broken plastic fasteners were found and had to be replaced. A small regular screwdriver was also found, sitting on top of components located under the radiator cover. These findings are indicative of sub-standard repairs. Following repairs and key fob replacement, on May 25th, I contacted Sales Manager DeeJay Clark in an effort to get reimbursed for the missing and undisclosed key fob. He requested a copy of my invoice and said he would forward my request to upper management and get back to me. He never did. On August 3rd, I emailed DeeJay, informing him that it had been over 4 months and I was still waiting for an answer. He did not reply. On August 20th, I called AutoSavvy and spoke with DeeJay. He told me that they usually only provided one key fob with used vehicles they sold, and said he would get back to me. On August 21st, I was notified by email that my request was turned down. Takeaway: 1) If you consider purchasing a vehicle from AutoSavvy, ask if the vehicle has two key fobs. If it has only one, demand that the company provide two fobs. 2) Get a pre-purchase inspection performed by a mechanic or dealership familiar with the brand of vehicle. DO NOT buy a used vehicle from AutoSavvy without 2 key fobs, or a pre-purchase inspection. You will regret it if you do. read more

We first purchased my husband's truck in 2021 and we came back again this year for another reliable and cost affordable rig. i purchased my 2019 Honda Pilot in February of 2023. 3 weeks later the check engine light came on. It turned off pretty quickly, within a few hours. When it turned on again, I had the code read, and it was an exhaust issue. i took my pilot to a spokane dealership, and was told 2 of my 3 catalytic converters are bad. I've had my car just over 6 months and I'll have to pay$4,000 to fix this. Catalytic converters aren't covered on the extended warranty. i asked if Auto Savvy would help with some of the cost, as i just spent $26,000 there, and not a peep or reply. i really feel they could have done something to help, if the check engine light came on within 3 weeks of purchase, I suspect this was a known issue. HORRIBLE experience and service. We bought a 2017 explorer that checked out great with little damage on the totaled title (from what I was told). AutoSource (at the time) said it was a "small front end fender bender". I had no issues for 1.5 years, then started shaking worse and worse, took in 3 diff times to finally get a diagnostic on the 3rd attempt (at Ford Dealership every time with documentation for each visit). Ford mechanic told me I was sold a "LEMON". The front frame is bent, causing major issues and damage to multiple things. Dangerous to drive. I bought the extended warranty for $3000.00, to be safe and covered down the road. The extended warranty company says the dealership should have never sold me this warranty, they don't ever cover a car when it's been in an accident. I call Auto Savvy and they refuse to do a thing, called upper management who won't call me back, wont give me names, refuse to do a thing. So far damage is over $5000.00 plus my $3000.00 for warranty I can't use. NOT HAPPY! I will be perusing further. read more

Was on my way to purchase another vehicle because they told me the truck I was coming to see had a blown turbo. Then they let me know about a truck with way lower miles for about the same price. Was five hours into waiting for them to send me a write up when they called and told me someone else had an appointment to see the vehicle that I was supposedly going under contract for. Wait...what?! I'm five hours into a deal but somebody else might maybe want to buy it so they get priority? Yes. Yes they do. Then and only then I told that the vehicle has a rebuilt/salvage title. Okay. I still want to buy it but am told that people who SAW IT AFTER I MADE AN OFFER get priority. You can't make this up. I lost out on the truck I was literally on my way to see. I also lost out on a truck I was told they were writing up a contract for. Stay FAR FAR AWAY from this place. It is garbage. read more

AutoSource is a great option for buying a used car. They weather your local or coming in from out of town. I'm an Idaho resident that lives out of state due to being in the military. When I found my car online I gave them a call and had everything arranged before I even arrived. Sally and the team even came to pick me up from the airport. Then all I had to do was test drive and sign. It was quick and easy to work with the team even made sure that I had everything I would need before I took off. When we need our next vehicle I will be looking at AutoSource first. If you're worried about buying a rebranded title don't. The cars at AutoSource are all thoroughly inspected and in great condition. My car drove like a dream all the way on my big trip back home. read more

UPDATE 2:20 p.m.: I was finally able to get in touch with Chasity and she says she will get back to me by the end of the day with where to take my vehicle for fixes. She said the repairs had been approved. We'll see..... DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! Like another, I would give them ZERO stars if I could. And now that I've read these reviews, I'm even more afraid of what is going to go wrong with my 2016 Ford Explorer. Within 12hrs of owning the vehicle, the check engine light came on. We called Sally and she assured us "it would be taken care of" by calling Chasity with their customer service. No return call. THEN, 36hrs after owning the vehicle, a piece of the trim flew off as I was driving down the highway! Again, Sally said it would be taken care of. Chasity has been HORRIBLE to work with. She does not return calls and just tells you that she has passed the information on to her manager (who she will NOT give you his phone number). We are SICK. We traded in a completely reliable vehicle for this one because we've become guardians of our one year old grandson and we needed more space. I've tried contacting Sally, again, for help and now she won't respond. I just cannot even tell you how difficult this is probably going to make what has already been a difficult year for us. First of all, there are a lot of debatable reviews on here. I still went to this place even after reading these reviews. These reviews are pretty nasty, and coming from someone who has been in customer service for over 10 years, you can never please everyone. We had inquired about the subaru impreza over the phone. Upon arrival, they had it waiting for us. Sallie greeted us, immediately knowing who we were. She let us test drive and then we proceeded to talk numbers. Everything was straight forward, and she was extremely honest. We did not once feel a sales push emotion from her, and she made me feel comfortable during the whole process. We wanted to get the warranty to be safe since the business is a rebuilt title sales place, and even though the subaru drove and looked legit, we wanted to be safe. The numbers didn't come out to what we had hoped with the warranty, but that was simply our fault beause the numbers we wanted were without warranty. Sallie was not pushy about this, and we went our seperate ways. I am writing this review simply because she was awesome, and do not let a negative review stop you from coming into this place. The business is not sketchy, they tell you straight up that they are rebuilt titles, and if they fied the car themselves, they tell you. If not, they tell you and warn you that it was not rebuilt by them! Do you research and understand that you as the customer need to ask questions and understand then answers. I purchased a beautiful 2013 Ford from AutoSource in Aug 2018. This past Spring, I noticed my passenger side electronics were failing. I pulled the mats out to find the floor was soaked in water; not damp. I took the truck in to a local shop, since I had paid for extended warranty, to find the problem. The shop found the repair by previous shop had failed to ensure drains were not plugged. The right fender drain was plugged, which caused water to enter passenger compartment. The warranty company, I purchased through Auto Source, refused to pay for repairs, due to corrosion. I asked the shop to replace what they could; close to $4000 for electronics and other items. I called Autosource and left a message with their customer service. A week later, I did not receive a call. Due to an employee change over. I walked in to the Post Falls store and asked to speak to manager. He handed me a card to call customer service; same number I called the week before. I left another message. I called back three days later and kept pushing buttons until I spoke to a human. The new customer service representative let me know the truck was out of warranty period. I argued this was a problem from shop, not mine. I was not allowed to be given shops name to take for repair. I asked to have upper management brought in the loop. That was back in June/July... I have not heard anything from Auto Source. I took the truck to body shop for repair, which will cost me another $1000 or so. I would not buy from Auto Source; again. read more

AutoSource had a car I was interesting in looking at on their website, so I sent an email and received a prompt reply back from Connor. I then called their office, spoke to Sarah, and was advised they are open until 7pm every day except Sunday, which I found very convenient. We drove down and spoke to Connor, who showed us the car and allowed us to test drive it. He explained the reasoning behind the salvage title (flood) and explained they only sell minor flood damage cars to prevent issues later on with the vehicle. We examined the car for signs of rust or water damaged and found none, even the hinges of the car were clean. On the test drive, we had noticed a minor issue with the car and Connor filled out a form explaining the problem and added it to the file, we drove the car off the lot that night and Connor arranged to bring it back for the minor repair free of charge. We purchased the car that day, and Connor and his manager Dmitry were very patient and helpful, even staying after close to help us with the paperwork They even had the plates removed from our car for us so we wouldn't have to struggle with them. They made the process painless and pressure free. When we came by a few days later to finalize our trade in, we spoke with Sarah again, and she helped us to sort out the paperwork. Dmitry came down to assist and they went above and beyond our expectations to help us. I would - and have, to family and coworkers - highly recommend them to anyone looking at purchasing a car at a good price. Buyer Beware! Our family purchased an SUV from Auto Source and learned a lesson the hard way that this business isn't trustworthy. The SUV had been in a prior accident, but the damage to the car had supposedly been repaired. 18-months after we purchased the car we were rear-ended. We took the car in to repair the bumper, and were informed by the autobody shop that the repairs from from the prior accident had been so sloppily done that the car was unsafe to drive. AutoSource put my family in danger by selling us an unsafe car. The car had to be salvaged. We lost the $22K+ we'd spent on this car because of an unscrupulous dealer. The "151 point inspection by our team" doesn't work well, they must be sleeping through it or simply don't care. My 2018 Subaru Crosstrek had SERIOUS brake issues that almost resulted in a dangerous wreck. One front rotor was so damaged that the pistons were stripped and pad worn through, but it didn't show up for several months until the car wouldn't stop right. That was after a damaged brake line had to be repaired on the other side that the dealer said had been "clearly missed and could only result from an accident." The second time, 9 months after purchase, the Spokane Subaru dealer wouldn't allow us to drive it away. $850 later, we'd done what AutoSource claimed they take care of prior to unloading these cars. After multiple calls, emails, and sending the receipt to AutoSource, a smug manager called "Rob" called me and said they wouldn't be covering the cost of the repair. "So, do whatever you need to do" was what he said before hanging up. Never acknowledged a problem, mistake, shortcoming...nothing. These guys sound nice, but be careful. They're lack of integrity, principle, and responsibility is unbelievable. That's why I'll be pursuing this beyond dollars and cents. It might save someone's life. read more

I would give them a zero if I could!!!! I purchased vehicle and gave them $36,000. in cash in July, and 4 months later (December) I still have not received a title. They continue to be untruthful about The title. I believe they sold the car prematurely without having physical title and they have been just stringing me along giving me one crazy excuse after another. They also promised me floor mats to cover a torn carpet in the back seat area. Four months later they hadn't delivered floor mats. The car needed a $2,500. repair (damaged gas line) and Auto Sneaky had the nerve to say they would go half on it. Yes, I had purchased the bumper to bumper extended warranty as well. The warranty company said the damage was pr-existing, and would not cover the repair and Auto Sneaky tried to get me to pay for half. I complained and they ended up repairing the vehicle with me paying my $100. deductible. Three weeks later I got my car. I'm still unable to completely fill my car with fuel. There is still something wrong with the gas line. Also, I purchased and extended warranty for dings, dents, tires etc. After having a flat, I called the warranty company for road side assistance, I was told that my auto VIN number was not in their system and therefore my car could not be serviced. My car is still in my garage with a flat tire. Lucky for me I have another car. I'll have to call AAA and pay for the tire repair myself. I hope it can be repaired. I'm tired of trying to get this dealer to do the right thing. At this point, I'm seeking legal help, and going to the media, and will picket out front of the dealership if I have to. I want is a full refund which they are fighting. I spent my life savings (silly me) and trusted them to give me a dependable car. I am a grandmother and senior and I feel like this is fraud against a senior. There are laws to protect seniors. It's been a nightmare. If you are looking for a vehicle I would pass on Auto Source/Auto Saavy/ Auto Sneaky. I don't trust them at all. I'm going to fight this to the end. They will not take advantage of this grandma!! I have never been more disgusted with a business before. Auto Source and sales staff Sally are unethical. I look forward to my attorney coming after you crooks. 4 quick tips- 1. Get a hard copy of ever single page of your paperwork at the time of service and double check every page is there. Anything that says the owe anything will be thrown away and scanned without so they can weasle out of any agreements. 2. Do not order from a different store. You won't get what was pictured 3. DO NOT GET THE WARRANTY. They show you Varitas but order from First Mile which is cheaper and does not do road side assistance, rental car, or half of what Virtas platinum covers. 4. Do not sign the arbitration paper. You will sue them a month after dealing with your car. When we first walked in we were impressed with their company but it was all smoke and mirrors. The first car I wanted was sold from underneath me, the second i ordered from another store. When it arrived it was nothing like the picture and was falling apart, all kinds of different colors, different mirrors, bald tires with 5 nails in one, broken windsheild, completely bald breaks, ect. When I came to look at the car Sally acted all concern and pulled out a 5000$ more expensive model that she would of been happy to sell me for my saftey. I bought the ordered car bcs i waited 2 weeks without any transportation, was desperate and was within my budget. I was told it was a rebuilt title and was in a t-bone accident. After signing the sales paperwork, come to find out that it was a rebuilt tradein with a complete rollover and front end damage. To top that all off when i went to leave the lot after purchase the car would start...at all(test drive was completely fine). Every week since owning this car i find a new nightmare. So far so good! We just purchased a '19 Subaru Crosstrek Premium with only 2,300 miles for about $7,000 below book. It had been in a rear end accident and had extensive damage to the rear end. And of course had been fixed to almost new condition. We were initially interested in a Chev Equinox that had sustained front end damage. We were shown many pictures of both vehicles while they were wrecked. I inspected both and found, in my opinion, they were very well repaired. They even showed me a list of each repair that was made. We test drove both and were satisfied that both ran and handled perfectly. The decision came down to the fact my wife didn't like the red color of the Chev and we are a bit partial to Subaru's. With Sally's EXCELLENT customer service we were confident that this would be a great purchase. She is indeed the type of car salesperson we would all like to deal with! Eric did a great job with financing and everyone we dealt with at their store were helpful and good humored. I do wish that there had been an owners manual in the vehicle and one more key that comes with the new car. Certainly not deal breakers. A terrific car buying experience and we feel we will be happily driving our car for many years. read more

We bought a car from Autosource two weeks ago and they have yet to send us the paperwork so we can get it licensed. They texted and asked for a good review and we replied that we were waiting for the paperwork to which they relied that it was being sent that night or the next day. Four days later we didn't get it so we texted again and left a message, both got no response. My husband has left two messages and several text messages to try to get the papers but they aren't calling us back so now we'll have to go over there and get the run around in person. We are in the market for a second car but you can believe that it won't be from here! read more

CAUTION!!!! These are salvaged vehicles and in WA show "Rebuilt Salvage" on the title!! The salesperson Jeremy will tell you know it's a "branded title totally different" and we where told straight to our face "It is NOT a salvage title".... After trying to get it registered in Washington State and running into major resistance, we find it's worth maybe 50% of low blue book and that it is in fact a rebuilt salvage title.... Now we call and are told oh yes a branded title is a converted title that used to be a salvage title now it's a rebuilt title... It is all word play!!! Don't believe them don't fall for it go talk to legitimate dealers first!!! It is not worth the 3k or $45 a month payment!!!! read more

So about May of 2019 I bought a 2017 Focus ST, I drove the crap out of that car and put 14 thousand miles on it. Had no problems whatsoever. Went to Dave Smith's and went to try to buy a truck because I have to commute over the pass. I didn't want to get trade in my car, I absolutely loved it, but you know how it is. So found a truck I could live with but didn't love. They appraised my car at $7,000. I understand it has a branded title, but damn son! The car is on point! I figured if someone was going to lowball me, it's going to be on a truck I love almost as much as my car. Decided I would head into AutoSource again and see what they had and behold, I found a beautiful RAM Laramie with all the bells and whistles and over 65K miles less than the trucks I was looking at at Dave Smith's. My first salesman was Ivan who sold me my Focus ST, Sally sold me my RAM. Both were easy to work with and hot me what I wanted at an affordable price. I understand the titles are branded, but I don't drive the title, if you get a warranty, you're covered. Was able to finance through my bank which makes life so much easier. Usually people giving bad reviews have crap credit and regret the decisions they made and try to put it on the people they bought their car from. I was interested in a car at another location. I sent an authorization to have it moved from Salt Lake City to Post Falls late Sat. afternoon, but decided to not purchase the vehicle that evening. (I saw on some of the pictures posted online what looked like mud on the interior- of a flood salvaged vehicle!). The sales person assured me the vehicle was fine, but I was not interested in that or any other salvaged vehicle- too many potential problems, not to mention financing, insurance, etc. I canceled the authorization via phone and the contract to move the vehicle- and spoke with the salesperson on the phone and the sales manager the next day. Despite this, they still charged me $500!!! Needless to say, I am outraged. Avoid them, or you may be very sorry. read more

Was relatively pleasant until I had to deal with the "Title Clerk" who was VERY rude and actually yelled at me, then insisted that a mistake made on their end was everyone else's fault (Mine, State DMV, Local License company, ect..) The best they could do, was send me a replacement temporary license. Almost 3 months later and still have no title, plates, or tabs. Purchased a vehicle from this company, needed to license it in a neighboring state. It took them 6 weeks to mail the paperwork to the state and then they sent in the wrong paperwork! The license agency called them and it still took them an additional week to provide the paperwork to be able to license the vehicle. Attempted multiple times to contact via phone, always sent to voicemail and no return calls, when I finally did get ahold of someone, they took a message and still no return phone calls. Vehicle was financed and then paid off before the paperwork was sent to the state, finance company attempted to call multiple times for an update to the title and they never received a return phone call either......I had to do all the calling between the state, the company and the finance company......how is this business still in business with the way they treat their customers? I will never shop nor buy anything from this company again. read more

We are 45 days in to having our vehicle and the vehicle seems to be okay, but the paperwork and legalities of it all have been shambles from the beginning. Working from a different state and doing the entire contract by email and phone, we purchased our car unseen because of the confidence we had in the business model. They sell well, but their admin can use some fine tuning. We went back and forth about 15 times too many-not exaggerating-to get the original sales contract complete cuz they kept sneaking in random fees and amounts for service products we specifically refused. When we picked up the car, they sent us home with a different car's sales packet. We had our copy we referred to during pickup and when we reviewed all the paperwork once again at home-we had the wrong paperwork so panicked and checked to be sure we just drove the correct car home 1,000 miles later...we did. Now 45 days later we are still trying to get them to mail our state fees and registration paperwork to DMV! Too many phone calls! Too much wasted time. They should have a flawless schedule after 10 yrs of doing this-why so many bumps along the way? It should be flawless-admin needs a makeover!!! read more

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Complete and total chop shop. We have had to do multiple repairs on the SUV we purchased, all consistent with the damage we were told had been repaired. No one ever calls back, and when asked to see our purchase records were told "they don't keep records". Here is my full experience with Auto Source in Post Falls. I understand that these are rebuilds, and that's what I was looking for, now let me explain why this is a terrible place to buy a car. I see a car on their website so I go in to look at it and possibly test drive it. Upon arriving, there was nobody on the lot or in sight, so after walking around for about 10 minutes I finally stumbled upon the sales manager, and he found 2 salespeople and asked one of them to show me a car, they both looked at each other as if i was an inconvenience for some reason. Aren't they there to sell cars? I am a salesman at a car dealership myself and I was just shocked. After waiting about 10 more minutes the salesperson(not going to say any names) came back with the keys to the car I wanted to look at, I went and drove it and liked it. I never make a decision on the spot so I said I'd go home and sleep on it. I called back the next day and wanted to negotiate because I got approved for financing and they know I have the ability to buy since they have all my personal info. Disclaimer: the car i'm looking at has a NADA value of 22,900 and they are asking 18,199 . I feel this is a bit high for a rebuilt car. A good rule of thumb is to get a rebuilt car at about half of nada clean title value, I knew that wasn't going to happen, but it was a subaru wrx and I know they are a bit overpriced in this area. I was comfortable spending about 16500 maybe 17 at the most. (plus tax and license obviously). So over the phone while negotiating, salesperson says: "there is someone else on the other line interested in the car you're looking at, give me a 500$ deposit to make sure it doesn't sell!" I reply: "is it refundable?" salesperson remarks: "no but you can use it towards the sale of another car on our lot" ... there are a few things wrong here but I go along and play the game, I said, "I'll take my chances, if the car is still there tomorrow i'll come in". Day goes by, sure enough it didn't sell, and they said they bought a different wrx, a white one, but when I drove by I still saw that on the lot too... back to negotiating again, I was honest and told them what i wanted to spend and what I know is fair (they buy these wrecked at copart for 3-4k and spend 5k max fixing them) they said they don't work like other car lots, their price in non negotiable and there is an 800 dollar doc fee! that is illegal in washington and we only charge a 150 doc fee at my lot and it's mostly profit! The saleswomen didn't know what to say when I called them out on this so she switched the call over to her sales manager, He told me the best he can do is 18,500 our the door. I was surprised thinking I was getting somewhere, so i asked, "out the door, that includes tax right?" he replied, "No you are responsible for registering and paying tax on the vehicle" appalled, I said "so the price went up from your asking price? can you waive the doc fee?" He said, "you are a car salesman too so you know what a doc fee is right?" i said "yeah it's just profit" then he says in a condescending tone- "Look Nathan if you don't want to buy our car I don't care you can just go somewhere else and buy a different one" at this point I am frustrated so i just hang up. there is no use in trying to reason with ignorance. The next day the same exact car/color/year came up on craigslist for 16k with LESS MILES, and talked him down to 14 and have put about a thousand miles on it since with 0 issues. plus the guy i bought it from had it fixed a while ago so if anything on it wasn't fixed right I would know, at autosource they fix and flip and don't care if it breaks down on your way home. you are just another statistic and want to make a profit and send you down the road and they don't care about you whatsoever.
