Bad experience here. I would ay that the owner is not to be trusted. Went to buy a damaged vehicle,…read morea Toyota Sienna I had found but he said it was being detailed and would be done soon,. Every time I called, it was the same excuse. Finally it was ready some two or so weeks later. When I inquired about the crash it was in, someone told me the right side but when I arrived it turned out to be the right front side, so I was a bit concerned. Long story sort here: I was now dealing with the guy's cousin a 19 year old which made me nervous although he seemed or acted confident. It took at least two hours to get through the paperwork. I retuned home and looked more closely at the tires and noticed the two rear ones needed to be replaced. I went to a local auto shop and they confirmed 3 of the 4 tires wee from different manufacturers and one , the front left, when removed was dangerously shredding on the inside, He told me that it made the van a death trap. And even worse, the mechanical job fixing any problems with the front it was an amateur job....but he said it was good enough once the tire was replaced. Bottom line: make sure you check any vehicle you are interested in because you are not going to told the truth as is so common with the vast majority of used car dealers, apparently & especially in Sacramento (I have been told this repeatedly by others more familiar). Unfortunately, I needed a van and took a chance and maybe paid the price. But as most folks know buying a used vehicle from anybody is a crap shoot as it is a rare phenomenon for anybody to be honest these days. I was astounded that this pathetic owner would sell a van knowing that it has a serious problem like this.

It had a few seats in the waiting area with some soda water, canned water, cups, and a small kids table with toys and books. The service advisor walked us thru the process of operating the car. We were aware of how to drive an EV because we own 2 EVs already. There was no pressure from him. He wasn't a scumbag like regular car dealerships. We test drove the car by ourselves. He did not join the ride. We loved the car. We had a great experience here.

I just completed the purchase so can't speak a lot to the car itself, but it was quite possibly the most painful car buying experience of my fifty years, and that is obviously saying a lot. My sales coordinator was Tevin, and he was great and really did try to be helpful, but Rivian itself is a complete joke. They claim to be a luxury brand but then treat their potential customers as a commodity and nickel and dime them at every step along the way (do you know there is an upcharge for a spare tire?), claim to be transparent and then things pop up later in the process just as woould happen with any other car dealer. They accept credit cards, but only sometimes, the paperwork is simple enough but is required to be all done on line, which then doesn't work. All in the name of efficiency of course, but it still took me an hour and a half to "take delivery" of the car. Thirty minutes of that was the process of buying a charger so I can charge at home (for an upcharge of course). If you expect to feel like a valued customer when you are dropping 100k, this is not the company for you.
