Brought my car to the shop in October the fuel pump went, the AC didn't work, he tricked me and had it running on a cool day. The fold in mirror on the passenger side was burnt out. Today it's now February and I noticed I smelled oil. The valve cover gasket is leaking, and the transmission bolts weren't even tightened all the way hanging halfway way out . We were on edge purchasing a vehicle from smaller dealerships because you hear the horror stories from buying lemons and just overall shady business. I was in the process of selling my 2014 F150 to shift and was looking to get into something more practical and this Subaru checked all the boxes. Eddie and Elvis made the whole process simple and they were full transparent on the vehicle by providing us the Carfax and even cut us a deal on a out the door cash price. The 2013 Subaru Outback 2.5i is in great condition, minus some exterior blemishes, but what can you expect for a 8 year old car. Keep in mind these are used vehicles and maintenance will be needed on your end. Elvis and Eddie let me know they go over all the cars before selling and that they replace minor things needed before sale! That alone speaks volume on their integrity and good business practice. We've put about 1k miles since we purchased it last Monday and it hasn't skipped a beat. I've personally went over the car and nothing was needed. I personally changed the oil and air filter but that was for my own peace of mind, it wasn't necessarily needed. I'll probably spend a few days writing this review but let me start by saying .... Absolutely LOVE Mostar Motors, family owned and operated by brothers Elvis and Eddy. We bought a Honda Accord but the car make and model is really irrelevant to my review. Background: I created a gofundme account for a guy who works at our local grocery after his bicycle was stolen while locked up right in front of the grocery store where he was working. The reason he had been commuting to work on a bicycle is because his 1998 Ford Escort had broken down 8 months prior and he could not afford the expensive engine repairs. Someone in our community had donated a bicycle but I thought, why not repair his car?? After an outpouring of support from our community, the goal changed to purchasing him a reliable used Honda Accord. Mostar Motar had the perfect car for him: Honda Accord, fully loaded, 130K miles, clean, baby blue, with a sunroof. This car drove like a dream, great horsepower. Wow! The reason for sharing all of the above is that after finding this perfect beast (after MUCH test driving ALL over Sacramento), we still had to transfer the money out of the gofundme account so we could purchase this dream machine. Elvis (owner and sales guy) was really nice, totally personable from day one. He went out of his way to help us in every way. We showed up at all kinds of weird hours, including after business hours. We went on several test drives spanning more than a two week period. AND, Elvis was willing to hold the car we wanted while we waited for money to transfer over from the gofundme account. On top of that, he was so moved by the compassion of our community (Roseville - for those of you wondering) that he OFFERED to chip in tax and license. I did not even ask him. Do you know any car dealerships or car salesmen that do that?? By the way, I DID PREVIOUSLY try working with both Honda and Toyota in the Roseville Automall but neither dealership would even CONSIDER negotiating on price. In fact, the general sales manager at Toyota of Roseville told me directly: "We don't do charity here". So anyway, I can not say enough GREAT things about Mostar Motors. Not only do they have high quality cars. They have HEART. And guess what .... heart, compassion, integrity, and honor ... you can't put a price tag on that!!! I worked mostly with Eddie. He and his brother Elvis are honest and responsible people. I felt I could trust him and bought a car from him a month ago. He was reasonable, professional, took time to explain and was responsive to all my questions. 3 days after my purchase the engine was leaking, I was told by a local mechanic that rear main engine seal likely the issue, and motor mounts may be broken. I notice also knocking sounds when I go over speed bumps. After some discussion they agreed to take care of the repairs for engine leak and motor mounts. That was a relief! And I provided motor mount parts. I'm very thankful as he went above and beyond what he needed to do. He even made minor adjustments to the car at my request. My only issue is that it was a long process. But, the work got done. Sadly, the knocking sound is still there when I go over a small speed bump in my home community, I still don't know what it is. read more

If I could I wouldn't even give them 1 star when I bought my car expedition I was told I would get my title in the mail here 8 weeks later still no title and when I called to ask where my title was he told me there was nothing he could do and that I would have to go to dmv a file for a title at dmv so I would have to loose a days worth of work and the 40$ that the title cost.
