I found out the previous owners were using horrible materials and they had to redo the tints for many customers. They immediately accepted my warranty and redid all my tints. This place absolutely sucks !!! One guy, (Joe) shows me a tint shade and I ask for it to be darker. I pick up my car and the shade is actually lighter. UPDATE: the tints look good, no bubbles but in the front windows some light seeps in because it wasn't cut close enough to the edge. Not perfect work, but meh... I guess I would go back since it wasn't a bad job and the price was nice. Prices were competitive and employee that helped us was straight-forward. $130 for the high-end premium tints for a 4-door sedan. Lifetime guarantee on all tint levels, which is nice. I took my brand new 2021 VW Tiguan for front driver & passenger door tints. I clearly told the owner to be careful with my car since it was brand new only 5 days old. I chose to take my car in on a friday morning at 9:00am right when they opened knowing they would not be too busy. After 1 hour my car was ready which i picked up only to get home and notice the smaller window tint on my driver side door was not placed fully and they had cut the tint short where you can still see glass. I went back to the store and they re-tinted my drivers door again, when I got home and opened the door I noticed they had cut the vinyl right under the window on my door. I drove back to the store and spoke to the owner who was super rude to me and he told me that it wasn't his guys that it was my word against his and that tints are placed outside the window and not inside and that the only thing they do inside the car is clean the window with a squeegee. I might be a female but I am not stupid and I know how tints are placed on a car, he walked outside with the kid that worked on my car and said the only thing he can do was put vinyl cleaner on the door which he even did a sloppy job at which he let drip all over the inside door and didnt even wipe down as seen in the pictures. I explained to the owner that I now i have to pay out of my pocket to fix my door since the blade they used to cut the tint went into the door and my car is a lease. At this point not only was owner rude and spoke down to me and the kid that worked on my door would not even look at me or speak to me. The owner took no responsibility and did nothing to help or keep me as customer which i have been a customer for several year. DO NOT TAKE your new car here unless you want it damaged. Sloppy service and the owner is rude and does not take responsibility for his staff and lack of customer service. Now I have to pay to get my brand new car door fixed out of my money plus the money I paid the store to do my tints. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! My boyfriend visited this location on Monday and got a quote from someone for his back tint. They told him $45. We returned today to have the job done. As soon as we walked in we spoke to the man in the front ( from the other reviews I can assume he was the owner ) and told him we were there to get the tint done. He tells us $65. When my boyfriend tells him he had been told $45 a few days prior the man automatically catches the worst attitude asking why he was asking him then and who had told him $45 !?!! The short version of my review: I wouldn't give this place any more business if they were the last place on earth. I live a block away from this place and I would rather drive anywhere in FL than go back to this place ever again. I had one bad experience and one HORRIBLE experience at this place. The first bad experience was when I had a fuse for my amps that was blowing out and I went to ask them to take a look. They told me it was a bad fuse, they put in a new one and I should be good to go. A week later, there was smoke coming out of my trunk and one of the amps was fried. I took it to a different place this time to learn that Autotronics had decided to just put in a larger fuse instead of actually trying to diagnose the problem of why the original fuse was blowing out. I lost an amp that I feel could've been avoided if I had gone to someone who actually knew what they were doing. I went back a few months later with a new car to just put tints. I spoke with one of the employees and asked for 5% tints all around. He was really nice and said no problem. I gave him my keys and he took my car around to the back of the store. I ended up walking around to the back of the store to ask him a question that I forgot to ask up front. I wanted to confirm that he wouldn't cut around the brake light. I prefer the tint to go straight down the back window. The kid was really nice about it and said no problem. And this is where the idiot owner, Joe or Joey or whatever his name is, enters the conversation. He asks the kid why I was back there and what I asked. The kid tells him I was asking about not cutting around the brake light. He then turns to me and says "We cut around the brake light here and if you don't like it, too bad". I didn't know who he was at this point and why he felt the need to insert himself so rudely into the conversation that I thought was already over. My blood was boiling and I tell him "the gentleman who is helping me says it's no problem". He gives some smart ass, pompous response about being the owner of the place and the kid being his employee. I told him if that's the case, to give me back my keys and I'll take my car somewhere else. We're still standing in the back of the store at this point so he yells at me to "get my ass out of there" and wait out front, that they'll take the car out front to me. At this point I don't trust this guy, I feel like he's capable of keying my car on purpose or something, so I told him I'm not letting this car out of my sight. He rushes at me, yelling at me to get out and getting in my face. I stand my ground and he basically starts daring me to hit him. I ended up walking away (since he seems insane) meanwhile he's talking crap like "yea, keep walking". The kid that was standing there the whole time drives the car around to the front without saying a word. I've never been back. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else that isn't run by an explosive crazy person. FYI, the other Autotronics near FIU is a different owner who is a normal, decent human being. read more

Seems like a large claim, but it's true. The employees are friendly and the work they do here is well done, every single time. I cannot recommend this auto shop enough. Obviously one of the first reviewers was a bit disgruntled due to long wait times and a lack of communication, but as anyone knows, there are slow days and there are very, very busy days at these window tinting/electronics shops in Miami. After spending hundreds of dollars at this location and receiving a ticket for my tints being illegal, I went back to Autotronics, looking for a solution. I approached the guy who last helped me with the receipt of my tints from a month earlier and explained that I had asked for the tints right before they became illegal and I was issued a ticket by the police. Automatically he looks at the receipt and says "we gave you what you asked and paid for" and then gives the receipt to the owner, Joe. This is where I instantly knew I made a mistake when I gave them any business. I don't know if this guy was high on drugs or on steroids, but he automatically starting speaking to me in an aggressive manner to the point where I had to ask him to not speak to me in that form because I was not speaking to him in that manner, but trying to find a solution. Automatically he lets go of my receipt and tells me to leave his store. The customer service there is terrible. Avoid doing anything there. They don't even consider helping out the customer, even if it means giving them an alternative that isn't exactly what they had in mind. They take your money and "you got what you paid for". Joe was extremely rude, aggressive and unprofessional. Can't believe this guy is in business. I'd rate them a 0 if possible. I don't think he would have spoken to a male in that manner, but being that I'm a female, he took that approach and it was disgusting. read more

My mom, sister, brother, girlfriend and myself have all gotten our tints done here and they've come out spectacular! We've been coming here for years! The staff works quick and good, if you call ahead of time you can set an appointment to take in your vehicle. The place is rather small, so dont expect to find all the aftermarket merchandise you're looking for, however, i'm sure they can order anything you need for your vehicle. I've had several cars, and have done work on all of them, several of them at different location, and i can honestly say auto tronics is the best in tints.
