Only two of the three bays were in service (unsure if this is because the lift was inoperable, or because only 2 guys were staffed), and with a customer ahead of us, it meant we had to wait for each car to be done separately. As they go through the oil change, the technicians shout every move they make. I'm not just talking about safety with the lift (which I completely understand), but they say things like "filling tire pressure bay 1! Bay 1 is 35 psi! Inspecting transmission fluid bay 1!" It's not only annoying, but it makes you wonder...why are they doing it? It's not the same as a place where a man on the floor needs to communicate with a man in a pit! Do they do this so you think they're doing everything right on your car? Which begs the question, of course: do I have a reason not to trust them? They said that both of our cars were in DIRE need of transmission service, which, of course, they were "equipped" to do right then and there (although they didn't even have my air filter in stock...curious...). Let me tell you some advice to anyone who doesn't know much about car repair: DO NOT let an oil change place (especially this one) perform something that important on your car. Go to the dealer! So we did each take our cars to their respective dealers after the technicians tried to guilt-trip us into having it done there (that's great customer service for you). Know what they said? That our cars were in fine shape! Yes, due for transmission fluid changes, but they were not in "danger of becoming damaged" as the Super Lube guys said. they could have run for months longer. And how about that name? Super Lube? Really? You're going to name your business THAT? How professional. Not too sure why we stopped in here to begin with, other than it was close to home.

The…read moreoil indicator put the oil life at 50%, the manufacturer recommends oil changes at 10,000 miles, but because they need to sell oil changes, they'll try to sell you an additive or up-sell the oil change because "you're 2000 miles overdue". The hell with what the manufacturer and the engineers who designed the car recommend, we're your local oil change place and if we tell you that your oil needs to be replaced every 3000 miles, dammit, that's what it should be! Then, they start working on your car before they even ask what you want. I dont want the cabin filter replaced, and I don't want you going through my glove box. Thats why I locked it. That doesn't mean that you have permission to unlock it without asking.

I brought the vehicle to the Tesla Service Center in Orland Park and was greeted by Anyssa who told me that I was a week early but would accommodate me anyway (specifically due to me taking the day off of work for said appointment). Anyssa then informed me that if the vehicle needed to stay for the day, that she would either offer me a loaner (if available) or a $100 worth of Uber credit to get home. What a pleasant surprise! I waited a bit for the technician, Rafael, to take a look at the car. He decided to take the car out for a test ride, with me as a passenger, and immediately suspected what the issue was. He reassured me that it wasn't a big problem and would most likely just involve a quick tire change out (incidentally, this was covered under warranty). After returning to the dealership, Rafael quickly took care of the issue and I was on my way. My experience was quick, comfortable and assuring. I felt welcomed and informed the entire visit. Anyssa and Rafael were unbelievably friendly, courteous and professional. Just another reason to support future Tesla purchases.

They would sell me a battery, but they wanted me to find a way to get the car into the shop. They refused to send someone 50 yards to help me. The price they quoted to me was inflated, because they knew I was helpless. We got a battery at Costco for $100 less. This was 4 days before Christmas. I am a disabled senior citizen. A friend was able to help me or I would have been in desperate shape. My PT said that it's too bad. Carx had an opportunity to do a real good work here, but they did not.
