Went here for years. Dale was always gr8 with a hello, kind word and quick to help me find what I…read moreneed. Dale is part time now as hes semi (mostly) retired. I walk in the other day. Hoping to exchange my wipers, I discover I didnt have my receipt. Muttering to myself " oh crap!" I run into Matt a pleasant young guy, who asks me whats wrong? I told him.. my dumbass thought I had receipts for these wipers.... but apparently left them at home. He smiles and motions me over to the register. Just like Dale used to: he looks up my transactions with a smile and takes care of me with air of wanting to help make my day better. I said would be too much to swap out the new wipers with the old? Matt says: no problem at all. A short while later I was on my way. After my discussion about wipers, I mentioned in the beginning about my wifes car which needed wipers replaced. Matt says: Cmon in when you want those wipers replaced. I went in the next day. Saw Matt and he took care of me again. Great guy! Im in good hands! As a bonus, Dale happened to be there as a it was a Saturday, he works occasionally. He recognized me. Its been a couple of years since I saw him. We caught up for a bit . Nice to see that people care about you as a consumer and acquaintance. They are good men . Go see them . They'll help you out.

I forget the guy's name, but he was pretty knowledgeable and got me my parts and give me some other ideas on what to check on my truck. That said, I've been getting my Mercedes serviced there since 2002 and overall I'm happy with the service. No, they aren't the fastest but they know Mercedes and I've seen $500K classics in the shop. Advance Auto was our next stop after AutoZone (across the street) didn't have the part we needed in…read morestock. Having competing auto part businesses across the street is a beautiful thing. Otherwise we would've had to drive another 20 minutes to get to the next AutoZone. This store was noticeably less busy than AutoZone. We were helped immediately, and the employee who helped us retrieved the part so quickly that I don't think I even blinked. Aside from his speedy service, he was kind of cranky looking like maybe he was hungover (it WAS a Sunday afternoon) or as if his boss yelled at him (maybe for being hungover?) My dad opened the box to make sure all parts were present. The employee looked less than amused, as if my dad were doing something wrong like eating a bag of potato chips before paying for them. Aside from grumpy helping us, we were in and out of here fast. I wasn't sure if the grumpiness was worth noting, but even my dad noticed and said, "what was up with that?" when we left the store. He isn't usually the type to comment on someone's mannerisms or even notice social awkwardness in the first place. At least it gave us something to laugh about later.

I have done business with this site (formerly Thomsons) back in the day when they were one of the…read moreonly shops in town. Until recently, I appreciated thier ability to turn rotors. On Friday Oct 11 I called and asked if they would turn 4 rotors for me on Sat. They told me yes. I brought the rotors in at 8am as they suggested. The gentlemen behind the counter told me NO. They would not be able to turn them. I explained to them I called earlier, was told they would and how I need them. When I returned later they were UGLY. "That will be $90." Inner surface not cleaned for a good seat on the lathe (produce runout), EVERY rotor had LOTS of rust remaining. I asked for a micrometer and measured them. The front were still .050 from min while the rears were .030 from min. WHY DID THEY WASTE MY TIME AND PRODUCE JUNK? Now I was faced with waiting for 2 more days until the rotors would be available. Guess they taught me never to have rotors turned. I went elsewhere to buy new rotors.

Moreover, the dealership finance department held my large deposit check for several weeks, hoping that it would bounce. I had to call the manager and tell him to process the check. My salesperson was wonderful but the rest of them are not. I don't recommend FOX GMC.
