If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This was not just a bad experience -- it was months of frustration, stress, and feeling completely taken advantage of. In July 2025, I brought my 2014 Kia Cadenza in for an overheating issue. They inspected it and told me it needed a radiator and hoses -- about $1,600. I trusted them. I approved the repair. I picked up the car and drove maybe four miles. When I got home, I popped the hood just to double-check everything. The coolant reservoir was boiling and bubbling over, spilling coolant all over the engine bay. The car was overheating again -- immediately. I called them, but they were already closed. The next morning, I missed work to take it back. They kept it, then called to say they "couldn't find anything wrong" and told me to pick it up. I drove it about eight miles. Same thing. Overheating again. Back it went. After more days of waiting, they finally told me the car qualified for an extended warranty for a known overheating issue -- and that it needed a new engine. So let me get this straight: there was a known engine-related overheating issue, but somehow I was first charged $1,600 for a radiator repair that didn't fix anything? That doesn't sit right with me at all. The car was there for about three weeks total. When they called to say it was ready, they told me the battery was dead and I needed to buy a new one from them for around $400 before I could even take the car. The battery was fine before I dropped it off. At that point I was exhausted from the whole situation, but I refused to buy one from them. I went to a parts store and bought one for almost half the price. When I came back with my own battery, they tried to charge me $100 just to install it. After I said I'd go buy tools and do it myself, suddenly they could install it "no problem." It took them five minutes. That moment really made me question how many people just say yes and pay. Then I walked to the back lot to get my car. It had clearly been sitting there for weeks. It was filthy -- inside and out. Plastic seat covers were thrown on the floor. No effort to clean it, no care whatsoever. They even tried to take my old battery (which I needed for the core return), and they had lost the battery terminal covers. But the worst part hadn't even happened yet. I drove off the lot and about halfway home, the front end started feeling loose. Then came the metal-on-metal noises. Loud. Scary. Something was very wrong. This car had just had an engine replaced. I drove slowly and carefully and made it home. When I looked underneath the car, I couldn't believe what I saw. The driver-side brake caliper was missing a bolt and sliding side to side. Steering components were loose and missing hardware. Missing bolts. On brakes and steering. This is my family's car. My wife and son ride in this car. They admitted they removed brake and steering components during the engine replacement and confirmed they never test drove the vehicle because the battery was dead. So they replaced an engine and never test drove it? And released it with loose brake and steering hardware? I had it towed back. They later admitted they found more loose hardware and apologized. At that point, it had been over a month of dealing with this mess. As a "goodwill" gesture, they replaced my rear calipers because of an electronic parking brake issue. That doesn't undo the stress or the safety risk. Fast forward to February 2026. The car starts making noise again when braking. I take it to an independent mechanic. He finds the passenger-side caliper bracket has stripped threads, the wrong bolts installed, and the bolt backing out. This is from improper hardware and over-torquing -- on a component they had removed and reinstalled multiple times. It's incredibly disappointing and honestly upsetting. From the unnecessary radiator repair, to the battery situation, to releasing my vehicle in an unsafe condition, to now finding more brake-related issues -- this has been a pattern of carelessness. I understand dealerships are businesses. But this felt like money first, safety second. And when it comes to brakes and steering, that's not acceptable. I would not trust this service department with my vehicle again.

I had a great experience working with Alexis Ortiz who helped me when purchasing my 2026 Kia K4 GT-Line. He was extremely professional, helpful, and genuinely transparent throughout the entire process. Whenever I asked for numbers, he provided them clearly and without pressure, which made everything feel straightforward and stress-free. He made the car buying experience efficient, friendly, and honestly one of the easiest I've had. I'd absolutely recommend working with him if you're looking for a smooth and honest purchase experience.

My experience with Garden Grove Kia started well. Najwa, the sales rep who helped me was really great and I ended up purchasing the 2024 Kia Niro EV that was sold as a "Certified Pre-Owned" vehicle. This is where it goes from good to really, really bad. An hour after I left the dealership to go home, the car suffered a mechanical/electrical failure when I stopped by to do an errand. The vehicle failed to open with the one fob key they gave me. I had to call road side assistance to open the car. Beyond this failure, I discovered the dealership violated Kia CPO standards by providing only one aftermarket key and no mechanical emergency key when I went back to the dealership first thing the following morning. The dealership charged me $750 in restocking and cancellation fees -- the only way they would take the car back. I had lost trust in the car, I did not feel safe so I under duress I signed and paid the amount. When I filed a complaint with the GM, Herbie Weston, and requested a full refund of the $750, his written response admitted to the vehicle's non-conforming state at delivery. He stated: * "In the unfortunate case of yours the remote died after you took delivery" * "The car was fixed and back to CPO working standards within an hour after the vehicle was brought back to the dealership" (admitting this was not up to standard when sold) Despite admitting the car was defective, Mr. Weston would only offer to "split" what they charged me stating: "I will split the $750 with you, please let me know so we can handle repayment of the $375 back to you." I declined this "settlement offer". I had done some research and per California Vehicle Code 11713.21(b), the $250 cancellation fee should have been credited toward the restocking fee. By charging both, they overcharged me. And most importantly, charging a consumer a penalty for returning the vehicle that failed on Day 1 is a violation of the Implied Warranty of Merchantability (CA Civil Code 1792). Technically, it failed on Day 0. I would have preferred to settle this directly with the dealership but since the offer was only to give me back half of the $750, I have filed a formal complaint with the California DMV Investigations District Office (Complaint # PC-0000053549). If you value transparency and consumer protection laws, I strongly suggest you take your business elsewhere. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would.

This is by far the worst car service company I have ever dealt with. The employees are unprofessional, rude, and show no respect for customers. Service is extremely slow, communication is terrible, and they make the whole experience frustrating instead of helpful. I would never recommend Kia Services in Southern California to anyone. They are the worst staff and service provider I have ever seen.

Omg I don't know where to start with this. too many red flags. Let's say this DO NOT BUY any car from this place. If you do please take someone who knows about cars. My sister in law went to buy a car without asking for any advice and she signed to buy as it is. She thought cause was buying from a big dealership. 22 dodge charger with 32k miles she was getting her dream car. Not until she brought car to get it inspect where I work and found so many issues. Let's start mention them: cabin air filter super dirty, both wipers torn blade, brake fluid dirty, all 4 tires which I posted pictures of how bad them were, also you guys can see alignment(driving with steering off was normal she thought) and worse part was engine had engine noise ( hemi tick) yes engine lifters problems. She call them to see if she can get help and dealer told her that they don't have dodge mechanic to take it to a dodge dealership. Car was at dodge dealership for engine warranty for 30 days. She paid for a month car payment without getting a rental o a refund. Good thing dodge dealership offer to replace engine under dodge warranty at no charge. Who ever buy car in Garden Grove Kia make sure to go over paperwork too. Cause she never got offer GAP insurance but they sold her a maintenance package that cost $1795. And a theft alarm for about $1500. Super overprice. We called to get a refund at least on maintenance package and Garden Grove Kia reps ask us to drive over to do paperwork. We lived 2 hours away from this dealership. When she went to do the paperwork, I offered to go with her. So when we went the finance guy name Frank was so rude and didn't seem he was interested in helping us. Due to we didn't had her car with us. Frank gave us the form and give us a bunch of B/S. Of how can be void our warranty if we cancel it. Frank service was so rude. I won't recommend this dealership for anything or anyone. Dream car became a nightmare

Please do not go to this location. Especially for service. I've had nothing but issues with this department. First of all I have had several recalls in the two years I've owned my telluride. I believe this is my 4th. The service advisors are a JOKE. They don't know what is happening. They say they have parts the don't. I had to take my car in 3 times just to get a door handle fixed. But the reason for this review is because Monday March 30 2026 my car was in for a recall for the door belts and like I said this was the second time I was there in the last two weeks because they are NEVER able to fix it when you originally take it in. When my car was ready I came to pick it up and they informed me that the driver hit my car with something and that there was a "SCRATCH" this was not a scratch it is a huge dent. You can see by the pictures. This was quickly dismissed and said they would be doing the repairs. A manager did not talk to me. They sent me off with a loaner. KIA THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE AND I AM BEYOND UPSET ABOUT MY CAR THAT HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT LOOKS LIKE THIS FOR A RECALL REPAIR... please don't buy a Kia and don't go to GG Kia. NO STARS!

He offered amazing service and made the entire experience a breeze. If you want to feel good about buying your vehicle Sam and his team at OC AUTOHAUS are the guyS to go too! When I called the dealership and spoke to Sam about a truck that I was interested in and came in a few hours later, he greeted me with kindness and immediately made me feel like he wasn't just trying to make another sale. He asked us questions about myself on the test drive and it felt like I was talking to a genuine friend and not a salesman. He was patient, understanding, and helpful through the whole process of what my end goal was and was very transparent about the whole process/vehicle and again didn't make me feel pressured or like i was just somebody he was trying to get a sale out of and get in and get out and it made me want to sign the papers even more. The main point that sold me was the honesty and transparency of the vehicle. He has told me what maintenancewas done n wasnt done.. other dealership would just say what a customer would wanna hear n lies about how good the car was but they had told me the background n history of the car. It meant so much to me and his words were very heartfelt and genuine. Everything else went extremely smooth and I will recommend him to everyone from now on who is looking to buy a vehicle. I am extremely grateful for all that he did, thank you Sam n team autohaus

After having a horrible experience at Carson Nissan the week prior, I made my appointment at GG Nissan. The Service Advisor, Kaleb, listened to my concerns and kept me informed in a timely manner. Luckily, the 12 volt battery was still under warranty so it was replaced. I also appreciated Justin, who was approachable & answered my questions regarding service authorization.
