A young man told me they had just taken in a 2022 or 2023 trade-in, in decent shape, for $1500-$1800. He took my name and number and said he'd call once the service department looked it over. I followed up multiple times. No update. Eventually, I stopped by in person. After waiting outside in the heat with a 2-year-old while he spent a long time with another customer, he finally walked me out back--half a block behind the building--to look at an old, dilapidated mower that clearly wasn't the one he had described. He said it hadn't even been serviced yet and might be 2 more weeks out--by now it had been a month and a half. When I questioned the discrepancy, he shifted to trying to upsell me a new mower I didn't ask for--never mentioned financing clearly, and I was prepared to pay cash. I left feeling dismissed and strung along. Maybe because I'm a woman. Maybe because I didn't "look like a buyer." But I was serious, polite, and ready to purchase--and I was treated like I didn't matter. Dixie, if you're reading this, I'd still appreciate a proper response--or at least an apology.

Purchased a mower from Dixie in late 2023 after shipping issues through Home Depot…read more Drive belt had issues last Thursday and they came and picked it up within 30 minutes of service call. They replaced the drive belt and replaced and sharpened new blades. First time I turned the mower back on yesterday the blades wouldn't engage. I was concerned my phobia of service shops was materializing with the blades working prior to service but broken afterwards. Especially considering a common mistake in drive belt repair is disconnection or damage to the PTO and/or associated wiring. BUT, they sent out one of their experienced drivers this morning and he fixed it on the spot. No additional cost. Extremely grateful for Tim. Incredible customer service and my trust in the shop is maintained. They will make it right if something goes wrong which is hard to find these days.

Claiming he was working to get our power steering pump replaced stating it needed a serpentine belt that he ordered and was waiting on. Then wouldn't answer phone calls. I specifically told him we were on our way to Orange Beach and needed it fixed ASAP. He said he could get it done it a couple hours and send us on our way. Only to try and put us off till the next day. I had to pay for an Uber to go and get my van and drive it with bad power steering pump to save the rest of our family vacation. When I got to his place he wouldn't answer the door. He had his uncle give excuses why he hadn't touched our vehicle. My family lost an entire days vacation time in this situation. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS GUY!!!!!!

He did not charge me for any of the work he had done before he put in the new engine. he also found and changed the axle and CV joints in the front. on top of that, I found another concern after he had delivered the car and he came and picked the car up for me and changed the brakes. Called UHaul and after 20 minutes on the phone, they were able to contact the owner. He said he would be there in an hour...I tried to have patience and said I would go get lunch and they said he would call. Call never came. I returned over an hour later to find nobody there. Absolutely horrible business. If you have to step away, at least have the courtesy to call the customer before they waste their time.
