Horrible experience Kevin who was very rude and just wanted to Argue with me about what google told me closing time was 9pm. I showed up on 6/20/26 at 7:59pm and closing time apparently is 8pm. When I googled Auto Zone and put in directions it gave me directions and said they were open till 9pm. I had my own small business for 12 yrs and know sometimes google may pull up old info and store Manager Nelson seemed to know about that when I called the store on 6/22/26. Kevin had horrible customer service ethics should work somewhere else if he is so unhappy. The other employee who I did not get his name was very helpful but after the way I was treated by Kevin I will never Go to boulder city auto zone. I left that store without purchasing a battery. I went to Auto Zone In Henderson on Horizon after that and Angel at Henderson Horizon Auto Zone was very helpful and got me a battery and helped me resolve a running light trailer light issue.and also loaned me tools to change my battery. I've lived here in BC for almost 25 years and was really happy when this Auto Zone was built. My husband is not one who has a lot of knowledge nor desire when it comes to car maintenance so thank goodness for these guys. I've purchased batteries, new windshield wipers, head lamps, etc. here over the years and they're always incredibly helpful. This past week I called and spoke to Orlando who was able to tell me they had what I needed in stock and even though he was gone by the time I got there, Kevin, kindly helped me and installed the new bulb on the hot as hell day, no problem. I recently went to the Boulder City store to purchase 2 RV deep cycle batteries. When I walked in the gray shirt ask if he could help me and I told him I was there to get some batteries. I was promptly ignored. After looking at the batteries for a while, I went and found the same guy and he answered my questions. I told him what I decided to get and ask him if I needed to bring the old batteries in myself and I was again ignored. I will add that I am 70 years old. I would have expected the employee to at least offer to get the batteries out of the back of my truck. Didn't happen. I brought the batteries in and put them where I was directed. After paying I was told that your batteries are on a cart over there. Again, I am 70 years old and there was not even an offer to help me out with the batteries. I will also add that I was the only customer. They were not busy. Unless absolutely necessary, I will never again set foot in AutoZone. If you are old, O'Reilly's down the street would be a better choice. I will also add that I was an employee in that store some years ago and if the manager had seen me act this way to an older customer I would have at the least got a butt chewing. read more

I love this place!! The times I've gone in, it's been all girls working and they not only know their stuff but they are so nice. The greet you when you walk in and I've always been ignored when I walk into to other stores. I came in to buy a boat battery and they suggested that I switch out both batteries. They didn't try to upsale me, they were just informing me. I didn't listen and my old battery did drain the new one. When I went in to get a new second battery, they were so nice about it and didn't make me feel like the idiot that I was. They even helped me with a jumpstart in case I was in this situation again. They are just really nice people and I appreciate it. Side note, they all have red hair and that's pretty cool too! read more

Excellent customer service. My mother's battery died about 30 minutes before they closed. We arrived and the batter was definitely dead after the load test. Sarah and the man behind the counter assisted with the transaction and helped install the battery. The book actually had the wrong size and after some figuring out we found the right battery (books aren't always right, def not their fault lol) they got the transaction taken care of and helped for about 10-15 mins after hours. Just North of Kingman my right turn signal started flashing rapidly indicating a bulb was out. When I stopped to see if I could get on a helicopter (too much wind) I checked and it was the rear bulb which is easy to fix rather than the front one which requires removal of the inner fender which I did not have tools with me to do. I was hoping that I would see an auto parts store in Boulder City so I did not have to drive in Las Vegas traffic without a visible turn signal. I am of the opinion that a good part of defensive driving is doing whatever you can to let others on the road know what you are planning. Just as I got to the top of the hill to make a right in to the business district there was this bright shiny Autozone that I don't think has been there long. Anyway they had 2 packs of the bulb I needed and I was on my way quickly. read more

This is an amazing store. I had to order a part which came in the next morning. When I picked it up the box looked used but without my glasses I could not quality inspect the part. When I went to install it, it was used and had been installed. I called them back and was apologized to and assured a new part would be there the next morning. Because I was in a campground, making it difficult to move my rig, I asked for it to be delivered and they agreed. GREAT service is truly rare these days. I had an issue with the battery and Rodney helped me out very much. WHen I had come back later in the day Rodney was gone but he actually took the time to tell the other employees my situation. They were very very helpful and installed my battery and even gave me the right hardware that I needed as well. KUDOS to Rodney, Michelle, and Caleb. This Autozone is good and not too busy at times. Just like any other Autozone's they have all what you need to help your vehicle needs. The staff here is usually pretty helpful and alert when you're waiting to checkout. The location can be a little tricky to find if you're not paying a attention since it's not in plain view but other then that, a good store. read more
