Curt's Auto Care is fantastic. A co-worker recommended this place to me. Everyone is friendly, honest, and straightforward. One man took me under my car and showed me the issues and why he diagnosed what he did. Sasha always texts me with updates. I work close, and they gave me a ride to work after I dropped the car off. I couldn't be happier with this place. Also, if you need to use the bathroom, there is a heater fan facing the toilet. Ha ha ha. It's funny, but it's a bonus and a true Mom and Pop shop. read more

He was friendly, straightforward, and explained everything clearly without any pressure or upselling. The turnaround was quick, and now the air is blowing strong and ice cold. And listen... not only was the service top-notch, but Jake? Tall, calm, confident, knew exactly what he was doing. Absolutely exceptional service. We had a little hiccup with our 40+ year old van going up 93. The vibration in the rear end and loss of HP was a huge concern, and since it was our only mode of transportation and we were almost 2 hours from home, we needed it looked at pronto. We pulled up to the garage, and had hesitation because they looked SUPER busy. Vehicles in every stall. Almost immediately the main guy came out and crawled under our still hot van. He did some banging on it, called another guy over, he worked on it a little bit too, right there in the parking lot. He explained that it would absolutely need to be fixed, but they got it good enough to get us on down the road home. We tried to give them some money, but they refused. Wonderful service, great guys! So this review is WAY OVERDUE!!!!! Once again Donny and Mike keep our family on the road in vehicles that are safe to operate and DO NOT CUT Corners on repairs. They will be honest with you right up front and wont pull any punches. We have been going to them for years now when they were DB's Auto Repair down on the highway and of course now since they bought out Curt's Auto Care and merged the two companies together. If you are travelling thru our town and are looking for an Honest auto repair facility......this is the place to come to first. These guys have worked on my personal 1999 F-250 Super Duty, 1997 RS Camaro, 2006 Ford Expedition, 1989 2500 HD 4x4 Suburban, 1984 Chevy C-30 Dually and a 1988 trail-rite boat trailer. The other vehicles that they have worked on and serviced is my past and current law enforcement patrol vehicle currently a 2015 F-150 4x4 Crew Cab. Which they are working on right now and that has prompted me to sit down and write this review. I patrol in the middle of the desert, work wildland fires, work on the border and have taken all of my trucks thru some hellish 4x4 terrain. When I drop off my truck I no longer stay on the property while repairs are being made like I used to do at other facilities. I have total trust in Donny, Mike and the entire crew that they have working for them at this time. When I drop off any of my vehicles Donny and Mike know what I expect from them fix it right, fix it once and my Camaro has tested them more then once...lol I don't write a whole bunch of reviews but this one like I said is way overdue!!!! read more

Wow! Absolutely insanity! I've never been treated poorly by an automotive repair place in my life. As a former mechanic myself, I asked to take a look under the car because there were loose panels that either needed to be removed or refastened. I was told I was allowed to do that by the front desk. The mechanic (Donny) started yelling at me for walking in the shop without a formal invitation. I walked back out and asked who needed to extend the invitation and he continued to yell about insurance and inspectors. He said I had to be invited. When I explained that I thought I was invited, he continued to yell. I told him "now you're starting to piss me off" he just said, "I'm done with you." And refused to talk to me any further. What glimpse I did get underneath the car, I could see that they could have fastened the panel easily, which I did after getting the car home. I will definitely never be back to this place again. This was the worst experience I've ever had in any automotive shop. As I lifetime resident of Boulder City, I'll spread the word to avoid this shop. read more

A friend recommended that I take my 2012 Camaro to Curt's Auto to find out what the thumping noise I had while driving. I called and talked to Donny , he told me to bring it over which I did. I met him and we took the car for a short ride to let him hear the noise. He then put it up on his rack and started checking things. He called me over and showed me the rear wheel moved slightly. Said it could be a wheel bearing or possibly just a loose lugnut. He loosened all lug nuts and re-tightened them and torqued them to proper pressure. The noise was gone. I asked how much I owed and he said nothing. Most car places would have charged me for wheel bearings. How great is it to find an honest auto repair place. I have been taking my vehicles to Mike for at least 8 years. He has consistently given me fair pricing and great service on a variety of different vehicles. I have referred many friends who got quotes elsewhere and found Mike to be usually about half of what some of these chain places would have charged them. Took my 1974 TR6 there (normally I work on it myself) - they did exactly what I needed and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need or want.
