I use this Auto Zone often and it never disappoints. I recently went there for a bad headlight issue. Jairo helped me out and man let me tell you...this guy was awesome!!!! Kristen (Diamond Bar Autozone) is absolutely exceptional! I'd give her more than 5 stars if I could. I've been to this Autozone many times before because it's nearby and the parts are less expensive than other stores. Not to mention, all the times that I've purchased windshield wipers and batteries there, they've always replaced them for me for free. The staff there is always super friendly and helpful. However, Kristen is one of a kind - She went above and beyond... I had purchased a cheaper battery because I didn't know any better. But before the battery was going to be installed (by a different store member), Kristen stopped the installation and recommended a different brand of battery that was a better quality, not because she was trying to upsell me but because she it was simply better for my specific car in the long run. She, then, installed the battery for me. And afterwards, she took some of her own time to educate me on some of the issues my car was having, helped me order one of the parts, offered to install it for me for free when it comes in, showed me the price for other part that I will need for the other issue, and said that she would install that for me for free, too, if she could...if the store had the tool, which it didn't (only an auto mechanic shop would have such machinery needed). But at least I know what needs to be repaired and what the part costs, so when I take it to be replaced elsewhere, I'll know what to expect so I don't get taken advantage of. All of this...the labor and the education (a.k.a. diagnosis) would have costed me so much elsewhere. So, I'm thankful for Kristen. She's very knowledgeable and I can tell that she cares for her customers. Because of her, I can't recommend this Autozone enough...above and beyond, 5+ stars! read more

I don't remember the last time I even wrote a review, but Kristin honestly deserves her flowers! I went in for a headlight bulb today. This is usually something I dread because sometimes I feel like I'm bothering employees at auto parts stores. Thankfully this wasn't even close to being the case. Kristin and her employee helped me out without hesitation. They replaced the bulb for me despite my car giving them a rough time. After they changed my bulb, she and I were discussing how my headlights looked yellow. Kristin recommended a headlight solution. It was only $12.99 and offered to show me how to use it. She could have easily recommended it and sent me on my way. But no, she demonstrated how to use it on one side and even stayed to help as I did the other side. Not to sound like an ad, but I wish I had known about the solution before because my headlights look so clear now! Kristin was so helpful and sweet. She made me feel comfortable asking questions. earlier this year i broke a torque wrench ive had been using to maintain my vehicles for the past 25 years. the staff suggested i upgrade to a digital torque wrench for a precise torque spec and to use a breaker bar to loosen the stubborn bolts/lugs/nuts and told me if i buy duralast brand and break it they (autozone), would replace for free... today, i learned that its a scam. apparently this location doesnt honor duralast's "lifetime guarantee" to replace "failed" tools free of charge...just denied me and turned me away. from autozone.com: "We stand behind all Duralast Hand Tools with a powerful lifetime guarantee - any tool that fails to perform correctly can be replaced free of charge at any of over 6,000 AutoZone® stores across the country." they should add that the diamond bar location doesnt. been coming here for over 20yrs...never again. looking forward to my duralast digital torque wrench to fail too...so i can eat that costly purchase. its gonna be great read more

She went out of her way to figure out the problem I had, and every inconvenience the car gave her, she managed it without a problem. I had the distinct unpleasant misfortune of enduring a 2.5 hour root canal at my dentist, then walking out to discover my car's battery AND key fob battery were both deader than a doornail. I got a jump from my roadside service then stopped at my neighborhood Auto Zone, where employee KEIL blew me away w/ his helpfulness and patience as he graciously removed my tired, badly corroded old battery out then installed a new replacement one. Keil was extremely helpful, professional and went above and beyond to help me [aged 51 but in practice at least a decade older due to my physical infirmities] outtve a pickle! Came here with my dad to buy a battery for his car. The person at the counter that should've "helped" him wasn't helpful at all. To be honest, I should've known since his face said it all. I can get over his RBF (which I can only describe as a dumb look on his face), but his customer service was horrible. He tells us what battery pops up on his computer that would be compatible with my dads car, but doesn't explain why the battery he recommended is better than the other options that I had looked up for my dads car on the Autozone website. He just wanted to us acronyms without explaining what it even stood for. -_- How would you feel if someone was speaking to you in jargon you're not familiar with? Then add attitude. Then add that dumb look on his face. Yeah.. it's a wtf moment. His name?? I can't even tell you because I just wanted this transaction to be over. Buuuuut he seems to be the only employee that has brown curly hair up to his shoulders! Took a battery to check and usually have no problem the guy usually puts it on a tester and checks if it dead or can be charged, anyway girl there was asking too many questions I explained what they do but she proceeded to act as if she never did it. Then came back to pick up and was told take it back where you got it it's no good the guy working was like a zombie guess it was too early. With the new Covid-19 protocols they won't touch/service your car anymore. I replaced my tail lights here four years ago and the guy working then was extremely helpful, walking with me to the aisle to point out which lights I needed and even installed them himself. Today I went and the guy at the front, who was incredibly disinterested, quickly spat out some numbers at me to find my own lights and was quite dismissive about installing them or answering any additional questions. Good news: I learned how to install my own lights via YouTube? If you're not car savvy (like yours truly), shop elsewhere like O'Reilly Auto Parts. I called one to make sure the 'For Off Road Use Only' lights I was sold here were street legal and the phone rep had no problem taking the time to explain things to me and even offered to install the lights if I went by. Two stars for having a great experience here once but having a terrible one in 2022. read more

Kirsten filled in for me and even taught me how to check ans refill my fluids. Then she went above by replacing my lights and again teaching me.
