I had recently got a rental car earlier in the day and once it started getting dark I noticed the headlights weren't working (it was late, rental was closed and I still needed to use the car). When I popped the hood I realized the headlight bulbs were completely missing! Fernando's customer service was amazing! He went above and beyond to help me figure out the correct bulbs for my rental. Since it was a newer car it was coming up as HID bulbs on the computer but after he looked under the hood he was able to confirm they were regular 9005 bulbs. I am furious at the way I was treated at the Pomona O'Reilly Auto Parts on Garey. I was purchasing a battery for my car key. One item. There were two employees there, one was on the phone the entire time. There was a guy in front of me, purchasing one item, and a guy who was loading some small boxes into his car. The cashier rang up the guy in front of me, and then left to help the guy load the boxes. There were only about five small boxes, and I'm sure the guy could have loaded them himself, but the cashier chose to leave me at the counter waiting. When he returned, he didn't say a word; no "thank you for waiting" or "sorry to keep you waiting." I asked him if I had the correct battery and showed him my old one and the one I was purchasing. He glanced down and said yes. He rang me up and I gave him cash and as change he gave me a dollar bill that was black with dirt or grease or something. I asked him if he could give me a different dollar, and again, without saying anything took the dollar and gave me a different one. Never once did he say thank you, or come again or anything. I have never been treated so rudely and I will never come to this store again. read more

I'm about 8 months late in writing this review! The staff here is beyond outstanding. I was in an accident in October of 2017 while 28 weeks pregnant with twins. I was down the street from O'Reilly Auto Parts. The side of my car had come loose and was hitting my tire. I was 50 miles from home and from my hospital. I found this store and walked in and just asked for help. 3 employees looked at my car and me and found the supplies I needed. They literally taped up my car and made it safe enough for me to get to the hospital. They took such care of me and offered to do literally anything to make sure I was safe. I was able to get to Cedars Sinai and was monitored the rest of the night. I am happy to report that we were fine and I now have 7 month identical twin girls. I can't thank the staff enough. Whoever owns this store should be proud of the way they took care of me. (Yes they offered to call an ambulance but I said no, I just needed to get on the roads safely) read more

I stopped in 1/10/17 for new wiper blades. Mario took about 20 minutes to replace a blade and then Juan helped me with the other. Only 1 blade was in stock in the morning & I returned in the afternoon for the 2nd. It's not just that they replaced my wiper blades..the blades were VERY DIFFICULT to put on..but they were very nice guys. I was very impressed with their help & great customer service.. I was in Pomona moving my son into his first apartment. He is starting at Cal Poly. While we were in the midst of this my car battery died. We jumped it but still needed to get get gas and finish picking up stuff for his place. I was afraid to turn off my car. I don't know anyone here, we were coming from San Diego. So I went on Yelp saw lots of stars and thought a great place to start. They are only a auto parts store but were willing to look to see if they could help.
