I've never had a worse experience trying to get my car fixed. What should have been an easy,…read moreone-day fix turned into a complete nightmare that wasted our time, money, and even delayed a major life event our move out of Kansas. The issue with our car was straightforward: replacing and programming the body control module. We had an appointment on a Friday but arrived slightly late. Instead of trying to accommodate us, we were told the work couldn't be done and had to reschedule. Fine I rescheduled for Monday and even left the car there over the weekend so they could get started first thing Monday morning. Monday passed. No update. We called Tuesday, and they said they hadn't even touched the car and would "start working on it today." That turned out to be another lie. On top of that, communication was a disaster. The woman answering the phone was rude, gave us conflicting information, and at one point told us they had lost the keys to our vehicle. Her solution? We'd have to wait two days and pay extra to get a new key made. When we asked to speak to a manager or someone else, she flat out refused to transfer the call or pass along the message. We were promised multiple call-backs for updates that never happened. When we finally got a "final" pickup date--Wednesday--we called and were told it still wasn't done, but that they were "actively working on it." Another excuse followed: they were too busy. Then we were told Thursday would be the day. But Thursday comes and now the car won't even start. They had the nerve to tell us we needed to pay $160 for a diagnostic to find out why the car wouldn't turn on after they had already messed with it and clearly didn't know what they were doing. The body control module was installed incorrectly and now the car has even more error codes than before. We finally had to tow the car out of there and take it somewhere else at our own expense because we had zero trust left in their ability to fix anything. This dealership is completely unprofessional, disorganized, and lacks the basic customer service skills you'd expect from a certified service department. Their staff clearly needs retraining, because they don't know how to do the job or communicate with customers. Their delays and incompetence cost us more than just time it disrupted our relocation plans and left us stranded. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else.

I ran into trouble on a Sunday moving cross country, and happened to land in Junction City. Finding…read morereviews for automotive repair in JC was not easy. I found one solid review for Extreme, and it was the first recommendation an O'Reilly Auto Parts employee had for me. If you find yourself in need of repair in Junction City, I can't recommend these folks enough. They managed to squeeze in an out of towner in dire need of help as quickly as they could, and were amazingly friendly in the process. I dealt with four different employees and each was just as friendly and helpful as the last. Knowing I was on a rushed schedule, they did what they could to get me back in the road, and went so far as to give me the exact part number I'd need when I had time to get to a dealership. Seems like a fairly small detail, but it's those little touches that make the extra difference. They brought me in to visually show me exactly what was wrong, give a detailed breakdown of what was happening, and had me take off to test drive it and make sure I was comfortable with it before continuing on my journey. I have terrible luck with automobiles, so I've spent my fair share of time in shops. I can say with 100% accuracy that this was the most pleasant experience I've had in a shop, which is extra impressive considering the nerve-racking circumstances I found myself in.

I would 10/10 recommend this place. I just bought my first car and had some trouble within the…read morefirst 200 miles. They made time to work on my car even though I called last minute, and they went above and beyond with customer service as well. I couldn't have found a better shop to get me all fixed up!
