I went and bought it, got the paperwork showing a 30 day guarantee and then installed it. The PUMP was bad and it did NOT push fluid. As you might know, that's PRETTY important to a transmission. Had to take it out. I called him 5 times trying to get my money back. The answer I always got was "I don't have that money". He offered to let me trade it back in on other merchandise, but since I live in Tennessee and it's such a long drive, that's a complete waste of time and he wanted MORE money from me. I wouldn't buy ANYTHING from McDaniel auto parts. They are not interested in giving you your money back if it's junk. I removed the transmission from the truck and ended up having to spend a lot more money on a completely different until because I couldn't trust that the unit was good. VERY FRUSTRATING, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL REFUND. I notice that he no longer advertises a warranty on his parts, that's because the yard is very old. BUYER BEWARE, you buy it, you own it from this guy... Multiple visits when I've had to get oil changed, they fail to rotate the tires, yet put on the paperwork that they did them. I can TELL when the hubcap covers haven't been touched because the amount of brake dust that's on there. Not ONE mark from gloves of technician removing hubcap. Also reporting wrong on service vehicles the mileage, which I see in the service vehicle portal. Over 10,000 miles less than what's on the dash. I'm surprised corporate hasn't given them a visit for their shoddy work. Stay away from this shop.
