Horrible customer service. Didn't know which battery we needed and sold us the wrong one.

Just wanted to give kudos when there due went to auto zone n was told I needed to spend almost 500…read morein parts my gut said get a second opinion n I'm glad I did was able to get a diagnostic for my Acura MDX from a young man named Jordan super nice , and was very informative of what needed to be purchased to get good ol coco channel back in good health turn out I don't need a new battery just yet thanks to Jordan I got a brand new Alternator n was able to meet a mechanic as I walked out that will have my car fixed by this afternoon, if looking for honesty and great prices check this place out right near the Wal-Mart off Jimmy Carter !

I visited this location on June 11th around noon, and the customer service was incredibly…read moredisappointing. Walking in, there were three female employees at the counter who completely ignored me--not a single one bothered to greet me. The only person who eventually assisted me was a girl with orange hair. I told her I needed to purchase a new battery and have it installed. She rang me up but told me I had to pay the $22 core fee upfront, and they would refund it after the old battery was brought in. If a customer is literally paying for a battery installation on-site, the old battery is automatically being removed and left at the store. There is absolutely no reason to charge the core fee just to refund it a few minutes later; it should have been handled in a single transaction. She also stated the don't do battery installs which is false, I call her bluff and show her the website she states "no one here knows how to install a battery, the person who does will be in at 3" Frustrated by the lack of logic and poor service, I left and went to the O'Reilly location down the road at 6015 Jimmy Carter Blvd. The experience there was night and day. The manager got me in and out in no time and was actively training his employees on how to properly handle customers. The 4985 Jimmy Carter Blvd location desperately needs management intervention and thorough employee retraining. Save yourself the headache and drive a few minutes further to the 6015 location instead. Hopefully, upper management sees this and gets that location sorted out! Let me know if you want to adjust the tone or add any other details.
