FF nearly 20 years and when said friend found out I bought a used 2003 MCS he begged me to have WMW do their own inspection, and told me he'd pay for the inspection himself because he was so impressed. A year into ownership I discovered the passenger side control arm bushing was totally disintegrated and I finally took the plunge and drove a couple Counties south to Way Motor Works. I'm glad I did. He showed me all the different bushings that were failing on the front end and replaced them all with polyurethane bushings, fixed my boogered front passenger spring (newb tip: they are asymmetrical on Gen1 minis), replaced some seals and put a 10% supercharger pulling on for an extremely respectable price. I think he even fixed the rattling HVAC blower without telling me. I had a coworker who has raced amateur for 80% of his life to weigh in on Wayland's commentary during pickup of vehicle and as ornery as my coworker is he didn't have anything to complain about, which is saying a lot if you knew B-Rob. Anyways, so long as I've got money in the bank I look forward to the next repair or upgrade needed because I know a trusted resource to take my car and that means everything.

They were so bad you could hardly see and with Atlanta becoming like Seattle with all the rain, I find myself using my wipers more than I want. So for a $18 purchase, the gentleman told me he'll come outside to help me. Now, I was just going to go home and do it myself. It would have probably taken me an hour to figure out how to remove the old ones and an hour to put the new ones on. But after I paid, he just walked outside with me, popped off the old blades, put the new ones on and thanked me -- yes he thanked me for coming. I returned the thanks and drove home. He could not have been anymore helpful. I just stood there. It nice that they do this type of stuff, cause it makes me want to return when I need something.

When I came in there were two customers, one person working the register, and one other employee outside. It took about 5 minutes for me to be waited on, but once I was, service moved pretty quick and they had the blades I needed at a decent price. The store seemed pretty stocked with parts, tools, etc, with several store aisles to walk, and several "behind the counter" aisles, when they vanish, looking for that part you asked for. I've visited this advance auto several times over the years and it's in an awkward place at the corner of Covington highway and Paul Edwin drive, more so to get out than to get in (it's pretty easy to get in the lot).
