I needed some major braking repairs done, so I started looking for a new mechanic shop. I found a lot of body shops online that I planned on visiting. Autocare Services, was the first body shop I planned on visiting. Needless to say that after visiting Autocare Services, I came away very impressed and did not visit any other mechanic shops. The mechanic Steve at Autocare Services goes out of his way for the customers. In a matter of minutes Steve was able to tell me what I needed repaired and let me know that my old body shop did not go a good job on my previous repairs. Additionally, Steve made sure that I was getting the best parts at reasonable price ( on a college student budget). The mechanic steve was a able to repair my disc break rotor (rear), disc break caliper (front) and suspension struts. The end result was an impeccably done repair. Job well done!!! (he even fixed a minor trunk problem in my car I presented to him later on at no cost). They fixed my car quickly and with quality. I would absolutely recommend, and this is where I will go from now on for my car's repairs. Great service and quality all the way through.

Don't come to this store in less you have no plans for the day. Understaffed, utilizing a new inventory system. In the end I lost all the discounts, had to pay $15.00 dollars more for my order, and gave away 50 minutes that I did not have. I've been back several times in recent months and this NAPA is back on the list of highly-acceptable options when buying parts. The folks behind the counter are polite, knowledgeable, and as fast as the customer in front of you will allow. Kudos to the current store manager for making this a place I want to go to again! It's still a NAPA, therefore most of what you want is behind the counter and this just isn't like the consumer-centric sort of autoparts store where you can browse the isles for bling, this get your parts and get back to fixin' stuff centric, so if you are looking for license plate frames, decals, and stuff to hang from the mirror, drive past and stop holding up the line!

I give Atlantic Auto parts a 10 for how quickly and easily the process was. And also for their understanding in why I had to reschedule my appointment. They were wonderful from beginning to end.

Its unfortunate they have no competition in the area for car parts because their heads are blown up so big, they've developed a "i'm-the-shit-and-you-need-me" attitude when it comes to doing business. Yuck. Jerk offs like these don't deserve business if they refuse to take care of their customers. Take my warning: they'll harass you with mail and refuse to help you years down the road. Moving? Don't worry, they'll find you, and refuse to find the source of the problem for you. They could give a damn less about their customers satisfaction. Small shop, poor location near Andrews AFB, and a shitty small show room. Most parts you'll need will most likely take time to order any how. And at that rate, I'd suggest you buying directly online from some other source that would take better care of you, and not harass you years down the road and hunt you down with your new address. In the category of speed shops in the DC area, this place is about as good as it gets. They've…read morebeen in business for over 40 years, and have outlasted many other shops in the region - I think it's for three reasons. 1: location right off of the Beltway, 2: it's big enough that it has most of the muscle car parts that you will need, and 3: These guys know what they are talking about. Most of us buy parts off the internet, but if you get the wrong thing and have to send it back, that process can take two weeks total. These guys are there for returns, but more importantly, they'll make sure that you get the right carburetor springs in the first place. The cons: they can be expensive, but our carb was the same price there as on the internet, so price is hit or miss. There's always a racing DVD on the flat screens and there's a dragster simulator for entertainment. If you have to get an engine running and have one Saturday to do it, this is your best bet. More importantly, you'll usually leave with more HP than you came in with.
