I needed some major braking repairs done, so I started looking for a new mechanic shop. I found a lot of body shops online that I planned on visiting. Autocare Services, was the first body shop I planned on visiting. Needless to say that after visiting Autocare Services, I came away very impressed and did not visit any other mechanic shops. The mechanic Steve at Autocare Services goes out of his way for the customers. In a matter of minutes Steve was able to tell me what I needed repaired and let me know that my old body shop did not go a good job on my previous repairs. Additionally, Steve made sure that I was getting the best parts at reasonable price ( on a college student budget). The mechanic steve was a able to repair my disc break rotor (rear), disc break caliper (front) and suspension struts. The end result was an impeccably done repair. Job well done!!! (he even fixed a minor trunk problem in my car I presented to him later on at no cost). They fixed my car quickly and with quality. First I stopped by the AutoZone on Marlboro Pike (the gentleman who replaces batteries wasn't there yet) and the Advance Auto Parts on Silver Hill (they don't replace batteries right now). Advance Auto Parts in Marlow Heights came through in the clutch. Darius who helped was great. He gave me quotes for about 10 different batteries which I liked. Not having all those choices but knowing that I wasn't just given the 4 most expensive options and being forced to choose because I was desperate. The change itself was quick and easy. Darius stayed behind to make sure the car started and it did. I was more than pleased with my experience. 5 stars easy.

Someone scraped the living crap out of my car, and my little car is black. I mean, it had a huuge…read moreugly scrape on it. I was scrambling to see if I could limit the cost by seeing what I could do until I could afford a paint job. That is how bad the scrape looked. And it was OFF WHITE and HUGE ok? I go into the store and pic up what was recommended online to remove scrapes from your car. But Rain, one of the associates behind the register asked me if the scrape was a different color, and I said yes. Rain then informed me that what I was getting will not work, left the register and got me what I needed. It was cheaper and it worked. I buffed those damn spots out. I know I will have to get some body work done but shoot. Thanks to RAIN she saved me thousands of damn dollars on my car insurance! She was very sweet and helpful, and knew what she was talking about. We need more people like her everywhere! Thank you Rain!
