This was not a big shop, but they did seem to have a lot of the popular items you would need. I was looking for a paint item in particular and the staff was nice enough to walk down the aisles to help me identify it. When we couldn't find the exact color match, he looked it up on his computer and found it was located at the other AutoZone down the street. It is incredible how close it is, practically 5 minutes away. The main issue with this store is that it's a little small, and when you need to find specific auto parts, you need a larger inventory. One thing you can do here to save yourself a trip is look up things on their website before you come, just to see if they carry what you're looking for. read more

This guy shouldn't work with humans. He should be in a warehouse moving boxes at best. Instead of greeting me when entering the store today he came at me with something I will let her find out he made up as a 2 gallon drainage oil limit per customer. Even though I came in with two jugs of oil I was trying to explain to him combined they are less than 2 gallons I simply did two oil changes for a motorcycle with low oil capacity. He for some reason insisted I could only drain one but that will be it. Leaving the store unhappy of course I went to the other store half a mile down the street where they didn't ask me anything about the total amount of oil I'm bringing and were quick to take it off my hands and drain it for me returning it completely empty. After asking out of curiosity if there is a limit per customer I will stole that there is but and it's a very very big butt the limit is 5 gallons and it's Nationwide between all the stores well they probably meant all the stores but the one that Mario is at. I'm in the process of filing a complaint with the original manager. The staff here has no idea what customer service is--it feels like a chore for them to help you. I came in to have my car battery tested. The girl who came out spoke so quietly I could barely understand her, and she simply told me the battery was bad. No problem. A few minutes later, I went inside to purchase a new battery and have it installed. When I asked about installation, a different girl at the counter told me, "We have the tools here so you can install it yourself." Confused, I asked if they no longer installed batteries purchased there. She admitted they still do, but said she couldn't install it. This made me dumbfounded because Instead of asking the 3rd employee (who seemed to be the manager) to install it,she suggested I install it myself. I finally had to ask her directly to check with him(which she seemed hesitant to do so, and only then did he come out to install it. Like the other reviewers experienced, this sales guy blurts out false accusations, insults, and defamatory comments. I came in to return floor mats b/c of their poor quality, which easily got soiled, before closing. As I walk in the sales guy, Matt says "Can't return those because they're used and you've had them for a while." Assumption / poor judgement made w/o any info. or dialogue. Me: "Receipt shows I bought it 5 days ago. Original salesperson said Auto Zone will accept the return if it doesn't work out." Matt: " You're trying to scam us. You can see they were used" Me: " You don't know the reason for the return yet. It easily stains, slips, and excessive deterioration from 5 days of wear, aka poor quality" Matt: "You Just except us to take it back when we can't sell it. Nobody would." Me: " Walmart, Target, Kohl's, most retailers who stand understand that it's unethical to sell products that do not live up to their claims." I checked yelp, google, and even on their own website for today, it open at 7:30am. On the day in question, they could have used a bit more help behind the counter, since I did have to wait a bit to buy what I wanted, but they were patiently helping other customers, so it isn't like they were ignoring us, they just needed an extra body at the time, or maybe a self check-out process. Ordered parts online to pick in store. When came in employee Randall cancelled order by accident. Then when trying to retrieve order did not have all parts even though it had said all parts were in stock. He was supposed to transfer parts to his store and call me to update and never ended up doing any transfer at all. When calling the next day store manager George told me to call back when Randall back and didn't want to help look up order until I insisted. When calling back on friday when Randall confessed he did absolutely nothing and store manager did absolutely nothing to fix issue. Let me begin this review by saying "I'm not a car guy". I'm the guy who's at the mercy of the car guys. A complete mechanical dummy. However, I have a solid 2011 FJ Cruiser with dual batteries that we take to the mountains. When I had a dual battery system installed about 3-years ago, I dropped about $500 on two heavy duty, deep discharge "boutique" batteries. You know, the ones that seem to be specifically targeted to the 4-wheel drive entheuiasts. That was an expensive lesson. When both cells failed at a little over 3-years, I set out to find a good, honest, workingman's replacement AGM battery. I found such a battery in the AutoZone Duralast Platinum. I replaced the main battery with a Duralast from AutoZone Tustin two months ago. They were friendly, professional, and installed it for free! So, I decided to replace the secondary battery last week. I knew going in that installing the secondadry would not be easy. It is located under an accessory power distribution box which would need to be removed. Not an easy job. I stopped by "The Zone" to check stock and get a price for installation. The counter person, David went out to the FJ to look at the install location and difficulty and said he would be happy to do it - for free! As I expected, it wasn't easy and David spent over an hour removing the accessory box and installing the new Duralast, making repeated trips into the store for more tools. The whole time his attitude was pleasant, positive, and upbeat. He even offered me encouragement when I remarked that I was taking too much of his time. More than just an employee, he genuinely wanted to help me out. And I really appreciate it! Note to AutoZone: David is a credit to your organization! Take good care of him. He's a real car guy.
