[[HIGHLIGHT]]Most upsetting, Andre specifically blamed me for telling him my car was 2002 model. This is completely incorrect - I absolutely gave him the right information[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. In fact he showed me the screen during the initial transaction it showed 2022 as the model year. Thus, possibly very very questionable business practice here. Best oreilly in Santa Ana and Tustin area!! This is the only Oreilly auto that will resurface your rotors. $25 each rotor! Much cheaper than buying new ones! I've gotten my sienna minivan, my Lexus ls430, my Lexus ls460, my Toyota Camry, etc etc pretty much all cars done here!! Just gotta Jack up ur car and take the rotors out. Then bring them here and have them resurface them. Takes them 1 hour on average since they gotta help customers out. I'll be back. Autozones and other oreilly WILL NOT resurface your rotors. I love walking into places with a problem that I need help with and the staff steps up to the plate and really gives a crap. My daughter is taking her drivers test today and I realized that I don't have a front license plate. So I log into the DMV website last night and if you don't have a front and back license plate you're headed home. So I walk into O'Reilly and tell the guys and they all rally together to help me figure this out since I have an aftermarket grill on the front which makes things more complicated. They walked out to my truck and checked it out and put their heads together and they even gave me two free zip ties out of a bag they had open just to help me out. The workers here are really unprofessional. I was here to rerun tire chains that I purchased the day before. When I returned it, an employee (skinny old guy with a long grey beard, loud hoarse voice) asked my kid, "Did you see the snow?", implying that I returned it after I had already used it. FWIW, our trip was supposed to be tomorrow, but because everyone is sick, we decided to forgo the trip. Furthermore, I carried these chains all the way from the car and put it on their counter. My kid took it from the counter to try to play with it (but I said no) - this same employee walks in from the back, sees my kid carrying the chains, then proceeds to tell his co-worker, "Look at that kid carrying the chains. It's too heavy for her! There's no excuse for that!", implying that I had my kid carry the chains all the way from the car and that I'm a bad parent when that wasn't what happened. read more

I am very impressed and thankful for the customer service at this location. I had the pleasure of having max and the manager Steve help my friend and I out. My friend has an older Mercedes that started giving her issues, we took the car by to oreilly and max assisted us with running diagnostic codes to see what could possibly be the issue. Nothing came about as far as codes go, however he still went above and beyond with the manager in order to see what other possible issues could be occurring with the vehicle. They did everything within their power and knowledge and ruled out all possible issues they could. After still not being able to pin point the issue the manager reached out to a buddy of his who's a Mercedes' specialist to see if he could further assist. We are so happy that nice people like this still exist and are very thankful for the amazing customer service we received. My both my headlight - bulbs went out the night before, so I called this place on Sunday helping that they'd have the bulbs for the make/model of my car. They do, which I'm really happy about. O'Reilly has saved me many times before from breaking the bank when it comes to my car. However, on this day Anthony sold me the bulbs and when I asked him to help me change them he refused! He said it's policy and liability that the company won't allow him to do so, and that he recommended I go to some tires place down the street. First, I thought that was odd because in the past other employees have no issue helping me. In fact, one helped me changed out my daughter's car wiper blades. Then for him to recommended that I go to a tires place to change out my light bulbs. I called another O'Reilly in Irvine, and guessed what....? They were happy to do so. So perhaps Anthony either needs serious customer service training, or this is not the job for him. I came here with a dead car battery (got a battery jumpstart so that I could drive here). I needed a new one for my 2008 Honda Civic hybrid...not only was it hard to find, it was overpriced at the stores that did have it. The store manger Steve sold me a battery and their price was $100 less than what Goodyear Auto was selling it for. Steve provided the best customer service that I have ever experienced at a auto parts store. I had to install the new car battery onsite. Steve provided me with all the tools I needed and supplies to clean myself up (all for free). He would have helped me install the battery, but employees are not allowed to install batteries into hybrid vehicles. I HIGHLY recommend this store for all your auto needs. read more

I am such a novice when it comes to anything car-related, so I really defer to the experts whenever something happens to my 2017 Hyundai Elantra. Unfortunately this morning my car wouldn't start and after some quick research, I decided to go to O'Reilly to get my battery tested (for free!) to make sure a dead battery was in fact the culprit. Of course, it was. I called my dealership and was given their classic b.s. which included "If you don't buy our battery, your car won't function to its best capacity" and also "Personally, I would NEVER put any other battery in my wife's car or my daughter's car except our Hyundai battery". These comments understandably made me EXTREMELY nervous that I could be making the wrong decision by purchasing a "third party" product from O'Reilly. I'm glad I ended up choosing to forgo the advice of my dealership because I had a much better experience at O'Reilly. I am so incredibly thankful that I was helped by Eddie at O'Reilly because he is clearly very knowledgeable about car batteries/parts/etc. and his gentle manner and kindness allowed me to breathe a sigh of relief despite spending $200+ on a replacement battery. Eddie was so patient with me and I cannot thank him enough for not laughing me out of the store with all my stupid questions. He answered all of my questions very thoroughly and really took the time to explain to me what each spec on a battery means and why I purchased the right one for my specific vehicle. Eddie even installed the battery for me on the spot at no charge. At Tustin Hyundai, I was quoted $95 for LABOR ALONE to replace the battery, not to mention their battery is $70 more than the same battery at O'Reilly!! Both the runaround I received from the Tustin Hyundai dealership but more importantly the excellent customer service I received from Eddie is precisely why I'll be an O'Reilly customer for life.
