I live down the street from this AutoZone, and I've had nothing but negative experiences every time I visit. On one occasion, I arrived to find the employees waiting for their manager to unlock the doors. He was over an hour late, and the staff was discussing how he likes to go out at night and have fun. It was already 10 AM, so I assumed he had overslept. Another time, I showed up, and they didn't open on time. It was ten minutes past opening, and I had to go to another AutoZone because I couldn't wait. This has to be the worst AutoZone ever. They have almost as many one-star reviews as five-star reviews. With all the reviews they have, their average rating is three stars, which blows my mind. If I could give this review a zero, I definitely would. read more

Came in and no AutoZone greeting. Store looked like it was in shambles and lights were dim. I needed to use restroom and the psm or manager with the hat said it was down. Typical bs for not letting a person use the bathroom. Each autozone has 2 bathrooms unless it's a smaller store. This particular one is a larger store so it has 2. Also if you have no bathroom Where are you going to let your employees use a bucket? I needed to buy a few items that would have made their ticket and there Witt numbers. I went into this store during what seemed to be the busiest time of the day and I have to say that out of all the workers there. I was acknowledged with a BIG smile by Hector O. As I waited in line, I admired the way he multi-tasked between his register, phones and greeting every customer that walked through the door with a smile. In addition. I witnessed him assisting a very unpleasant customer. Hector went above and beyond to google search what part the man needed but he nor his colleagues could figure out the part in the picture. Hector ended up assisting me with finding an affordable battery and wiper blades and assisted with installation. As we chatted outside, I was impressed to learn that he was only 17 years old. I applaud this young man for the level of maturity, patience, kindness and professionalism. The stock is fine but if you need help think twice. Not bad not good, going to call it right on the line. So I go into this location and pickup some supplies. The store is neat and clean. Its also organized like the other 25,000 AutoZones around the US so thats comforting. What seemed off was that there were 2 people in the store with one more person walking in (probably from brake) but it just seemed really busy. Like they had allot going on although myself a younger guy and really old guy with white chest hair and a gold chain walking around without a shirt were the only people in the store. Brake light went out so I had to get a bulb. First went to the location down the street. The cashier was very helpful and told me they were out of stock, but that the 2nd location had 3 bulbs left. It was only 9 minutes away so I figured why not? Well I was greeted by an older Asian man who helped me narrow down the bulb I was looking for. He found it and rang it up for $5. I proceeded to put my card in the chip reader, which then flashed an error message. 'Chip reader unable to read' We tried again--same message. Now I don't have Paris Hilton money in the bank, but it's well over the $5 amount we were attempting to run! So he tried again. 'Oh this has been declined. You'll have to talk to your bank. It's not my job.' UH, EXCUSE ME? You ran my card 3 times, my account could be frozen at this point! So I try another card, still giving the cashier the benefit of the doubt. DECLINED. In which I replied, 'now that's impossible, we have to use another machine' Sure enough, my purchase went through. The gentleman was very quick to say it wasn't his problem or assumed I didn't have the $5 to pay for it. He kept shrugging his shoulders and turning away like I was the one with the issue. JOSE was great. I had an emergency and was rejected by another Auto Zone. It was 2131 hours on 6/15/18. 29 mins before they were closing. When I told them I needed a Battery, they said they would wait for me. They understood how important it was for me to get one that night. When I arrived, Jose took the time to help me choose a battery and provided me with some tools so I could change it. He even let me wash my hands after. Talk about great customer service. This place is a joke and full of lazy f ups and possibly thieves. First Incident: I went there on Friday and bought some wipers. Didn't know which ones I needed, the lady asked me for my cars info I gave it to her she wrote down the part number and proceeded to give me the most expensive wipers they had. I ended up going home and checking online and found the same wipers for 10 dollars less at Walmart AND on Amazon. Went to return them a day later said I found them cheaper and when she went to return it she said she couldn't because the part number didn't match the number on the receipt. I told them I don't care I bought them a day ago check the cameras I want my money back. Next the manager(hispanic lady with blonde hair heavier set) comes over and types something into the computer and says oh no these have been returned already, WTF ???? So how can they have been the wrong part number and returned already ? Doesn't add up I complained I said f that give me my money. After 5 minutes of arguing with the manager I got my money back. But oh wait were not done when they ask me for the credit card i used they read me back the last 4 digits of some other card that wasn't mine. Thank God for online banking because I pulled my statement up in front of them showing all the transaction details of my purchase from the day before. Honestly I think someone switched out the part numbers for a pair that wasn't in stock anymore and returned them to their own card. I worked at Sears a long time ago and someone was caught doing that, they had reversed almost 15000 dollars in transactions over a year. 2nd Incident: I walk in and ask for a battery for my key the same manager from before was there and asked me which one I needed, I told her ill give you may car info she said no we can't do that you have to know the part number before you come in. Frustrated as hell since I dealt with her the week before I went outside to calm down and look up the part number online. So I wanted to test to see how fking lazy she was. I went to autozone.com and entered in my car info and boom it brings up the exact battery part number I needed for my car. Talk about fking lazy. To add insult to injury when I walked back in the dude asked that was behind the register now tried to cover for her and said yes we can't look up the part number, so I paid for my shit and told his dumbass, oh that's funny cuz autozone.com told me exactly what battery I needed after I looked it up. The crazy thing is, this is the same autozone that like 15 years ago had a customer kill two of the employees because they refused to give him his refund for something he bought there.
