Located at the corner of Van Nuys Blvd/Magnolia Blvd with A&V Grill, Ghost Food Court, Oaks Beauty Studio and numerous others in a small plaza lot that always seems bustling in large part due to this awesome AutoZone. I don't drive much these days, but when I need anything car related for myself, a friend or my person I try to stop in here for the easier stuff. If it's not in stock they can order it or have it brought over. A lot of great knowledgeable people. Sometimes I pop in just for a can of WD40, AA as well as AAA batteries or something practical. Service is fairly smooth and prompt also, even when there's a bit of a line. Super clean, organized, attentive and thoughtful. Every customer matters to them and they're often willing to help you on the floor/in store as well as directly out front. Definitely Parts Experts/Parts People, but more than a few go above and beyond and even have some mechanical knowledge. This was my first time in an AutoZone, and wow was it easy to find everything! It helps that it's on the smaller end; even on a weekend afternoon there was steady stream of customers. Perhaps the most intimidating part is figuring out what size battery to purchase since staff weren't available to help at the time. Thankfully, it was the right size, and everything worked! Note that you cannot work on your car in their small parking lot, though that may not be a surprise. If the small lot is full, there's often parking around the block, too. read more

I ordered both front and rear brake pads expecting new parts. When my car was already fully taken apart at the shop, we found that the front pads were used. This completely ruined my two-day repair schedule, and there's no way to just go back and forth to fix it since the store is an hour away. The rear pads were fine, but that doesn't matter because the whole order ended up useless for me. Customer support couldn't care less about the problem or the huge inconvenience caused. My daughter goes to school in San Luis Obispo and was in LA for a tournament. She was starting her drive back home with 3 other young ladies on a Sunday evening when her alternator belt broke and she was left stranded. The girls decided to try an auto zone since there were no car repair places open. They needed to get back to school and is too young to rent a car and didn't want to have to get a hotel room for the night. They were greeted at AutoZone by Angel who was a literal angel. He found a part they needed, and went to a second location for another part he didn't have and repaired her car right there on the spot! He charged them such a minimal amount for the work that would have likely cost them way more anywhere else! This momma who was hours away was so incredibly thankful to him and AutoZone for getting the girls on their way back home that night. This Autozone is in a small parking lot with shared businesses. However, any parts you need you can usually find them in stock. All the staff here are very helpful. I bought windshield wiper blades and the guy who helped me was a sales manager. He charged me for the wiper blades and helped put them on real fast. The store is medium size and the parking lot can get full very fast, its best to come at the right time of the day. The parking spaces are also very tight. The Autozone has code testers for your car to use, and battery testers so convenient. read more

Called at 8:40 am this morning and spoke to an "Alan" and asked for an oil pressure switch which he checked and they had 1 left. Got there at 9:26 am and door was locked, sign outside said system was down sorry for the inconvenience. Yet I still saw people inside. When I called the store a guy picked up and I asked for Alan and he put me on hold and never picked up again. So I walked back up to the door and a woman was coming out, they let another guy in and locked it on me. I said loudly I just have a question! And finally this guy (don't know his name) cracks the front door open and I say "Your system is down, can I just pay cash I need the part, my mechanic is right down the street." No sorry. Locks the door. At this point I notice he was only letting Spanish people in. There's a woman with glasses and two other guys helping a customer at the counter (maybe one of them was "Alan" I don't know). At this point I realize I'm being discriminated against. So I take pictures of this before I leave. I then travel to another store north of there, Autozone on Victory Blvd, yes they have my part! I start to tell the guy behind the counter what happened at the other store and he said yes, we know about that other store, they put up the "system down" a lot even if it's not true. They just don't want to help people he says. Apparently another store knows about these shenanigans. He told me if I want to file a complaint bc I said I want to then contact the regional office so I did. SOMEONE NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING about this store's lack of professionalism! I don't do reviews like this but I felt the responsibility to let people know what these workers are up to, no good. Get your act together people. This is not acceptable. read more

The sense of urgency is not at this auto zone. Went by there to see if they could check my battery and alternator. I waited in line, spoke to a rep, and they were very slow, they kept helping other people who came in after me, and when I finally got someone, they gave me a guy who barely spoke English, and told me he can't work on my battery because it's a hybrid. I DRIVE A GMC TERRAIN!!! NOWHERE EVEN CLOSE TO A HYBRID!!! I was fed up and trying to leave when my car wouldn't start. I was able to turn my car on one more time and go somewhere else. Maybe I got someone on an off day but I just received the worst customer service at this location and felt compelled to leave a review here. I went in to use the free Fix Finder service on my car and the associate didn't greet me, walked out to the car, asked for my keys, ran the scan, and once completed, walked back in the store without saying anything. I followed him back in and waited while he connected the device to read the results, he then printed out the summary and walked way. I was so appalled at the lack of customer service I didn't know what to say and let others move up in line. I got back in line and asked if he could explain the summary further (for ex, one of the items could've been bought in store had he called that out) and he just said 'see a mechanic'. I wish I got his name (he wore glasses, kind of curly/messy brown hair). Maybe I was profiled because I'm a woman and he wrongly assumed I wouldn't purchase anything. Just plain rude. read more
