Recently, I ordered a muffler for my BMW 330i from this store. It cost me almost $900 (including tax). The muffler arrived in two days, just as the seller had mentioned. However, the problem is that the seller didn't inform me that this muffler is non-returnable. Later, I discovered that this information was written on the receipt, which I received only after paying for the item and without placing my signature on it. He simply omitted this detail (this information could have influenced my decision to purchase if I had known about it). But that's not all! The muffler arrived without two small parts (Muffler Brackets & Exhaust Valve Actuator). Without these parts, installing the muffler is pointless. It turned out that I had to spend an additional $500 and wait several days to get them. If the seller had warned me that these parts are not included with the muffler, I wouldn't have made the purchase. I believe he might not have known about this. In the end, I found a muffler elsewhere with Muffler Brackets and Exhaust Valve Actuator included, and it was also much cheaper and in stock. As for the muffler I bought from BMA, I couldn't return it. The seller was polite and tried to explain everything to me. But what good is that if I lost $900 ?! P.S.: Anyone in need of a muffler? If you are not completely incompetent and can provide accurate information (part number or at least the name of whatever part you need with accurate vehicle information) to the salespeople, you will not have any problem finding what you need at a better price and quicker than you would elsewhere. Not only did they help me correctly take the time making sure they were pricing the correct part, they also had many options. Their pricing was the best over others, and their customer service was beyond excellent. I've been going here for years.. this place is great but the staff is amazing. They go above and beyond (especially Andrew) for their customers to get the parts you need. My most recent experience is the reason for this review. I called for a part and I was asked a call back number which I gladly provided. Next thing I know I receive a text confirming if that's the part I need to ensure the proper part is ordered from the warehouse. So I order my part and I later find out I need additional parts. My mechanic doesn't know the name of the parts for my Audi A4 and just sends me a pic of the parts. I send it to BMA and they figured out which parts they are and called the dealership because they don't carry it. I'm bummed that I have to go through the dealership but at least I'm not making all the calls. Then BMA says they found it for after market price and for a good deal. Also, last minute my mechanic tells me I'm missing another part and BMA tells me right away we got you it'll be ready by the end of the day. I picked up my 3 parts and it only cost me $76. I was like Andrew you saved me the hassle and a lot of $$$. These guys are the best and I would recommend this spot to any of my friends and family. A++ topnotch service. read more

I find it ironic on how BMA boasts about how great their customer service is; however, I've received the total opposite from their team. I placed my order Monday morning and was told that it would arrive the next business day. On Tuesday, they said it would be there at 1:30PM. When I arrived, they informed me the part hadn't arrived and the gentlemen informed me they had gotten billed but never received the part. Then, he told me he'd follow up with their vendor later that day and get back to me. Well 4:30PM rolls around and no call back; zero updates. I call back multiple times there after and get excuse after excuse. Not sure why I'm getting the run around on some o-rings but today was the last straw. TODAY they called and said the part would arrive at 4:45PM. When I showed up (spoiler alert) IT WASN'T THERE! Excuse after excuse yet again. I'm just tired of dealing with this place and will be taking my business to FCP EURO and ECS Tuning. At least with them, I know I'll always get my parts on-time! read more

If you're writing reviews about Providence and similar $$$$ venues, you probably own a fancy Euro-yuppie sedan so that you can valet with impunity across the south land's chic gluttony establishments. Perhaps you laugh at the service writer when he shows you a several thousand dollar work order, "I eat at French Laundry, this is nothing!!" But if you're like the rest of us poseurs, you have to find a way to save money by fixing your own car (or for the ladies with a taste for douche bags: have some sense and get a useful bf - one who can use tools instead of being one) Me: "Do you have a cam position sensor in stock, how much is it?" [Ice Cube's No Vaseline playing in the background] BMW stealership: "Yes. $170 + tax." ---- Me: "Do you have a cam position sensor in stock, how much is it?" BMA: "Yes. The genuine part is $140. The generic is $90." ---- Their website seems to work mainly for BMW parts. But for that it works well, and you can compare prices to the lies your dealership is charging. They're open on Saturdays, and they do free shipping on $50+ orders. I'd recommend calling a few days ahead of time and making sure they have your parts in stock by the time you drive there. read more

I worked with yves and sent him a long list of parts to update the entire cooling system on my bmw 330ci zhp. within a couple hours he came back to me with a quote and we went through and priced each and every part. He gave me the absolute best price he could and he didnt sell me any junk parts. He asked if I was going to keep the vehicle for a long time and advised which parts to go with. He even priced match and gave me some parts at their cost. I ended up spending about 750 dollars with them. I would have given 5 stars but the manager decided to charge me 2 dollars to return an item that was still unopened and never used in the box. I spend over 700 dollars and you decide to tax me a fee for returning a 40 dollar part. Come on now, your suppose to eat that cost. I called early in the morning and ordered a part, the sales representative gave me a price and told me that it'll be ready to pick it up at 12 noon delivery time. I called him at 12 noon to see if it was ready for me to pick it up. The representative had forgotten to order it so the second representative ordered the parts for me and told me that it would be ready by 2 PM so I went there to pick up at 2 PM and the part was there except he gave me a higher price. I told him that the first representative gave me a lower price and they should honor it and on top of that they had failed to provide the part to me at 12 noon and me and me mechanic had to wait extra 2 hours, but they did not honor the first price so I left and did not buy the part. I ordered the part on eBay for half the price. Beware, every sales rep will give you a different price. read more

A good friend to any foreign car owner. If you own a VW, Volvo, BMW, Range rover or Mercedes you know how well built these vehicles are. You also know how very very expensive parts are. From brake pads to doors. BMA has the best prices that I can find. They are nice and take to time to order the correct part. If they don't have the part they can get it within two hours 98% of the time. The other 2% are special orders like pistons etc. Great prices, good people and they value their customers. All I needed were windshield wiper blades, but every other place I found online was either out of stock or charging what I thought was way too much for three little blades. Low and behold, I found BMA Auto Parts and within a few hours - all my little problems were solved! I called in the morning and much to my happiness, they were getting a shipment in this afternoon with the blades I needed. Let me start by saying i don't leave reviews for places unless they are absolutely amazing, or they absolutely suck. I'm sure you can guess what kind of review this will be. I've personally never spoken with Yve as a lot of other's have mentioned. My experience is only with Carlo and with Ralph, both of whom have always helped me. I have an E36 track car that's unfortunately being dailied right now as well and has 223k miles on the odometer. Around this kind of mileage, some folks may start to get worried they're car is gonna break down and honestly i feel the same way. Fortunately BMA has been able to provide me with everything i have ever needed for the car (bushings, brakes, rotors, sway bar links, oil, gaskets, etc) and has helped to insure that my car stays in tip top shape. For this i am thankful. I have suggested BMA to multiple friends of mine with BMW's and they all go here now as well. Once you find one place that is great, you can't help but let your friends know. Seem to have access to all parts but I didn't feel that service was especially courteous or helpful. Ordered BMW kidney grilles and expressly asked for all black, including aftermarket. Salesman named James calls and says they have grilles in all black; I pay for them over phone, drive over and they're chrome with black, not all black. He won't take them back, says OEM dealership special order is non refundable. Well, I never specified dealer special order, I only specified all black - which I didn't even get. Ever since I owned my second E39, this place has become my #1 auto parts source ranging from oil for my car to AC compressor. They are very kind, knowledgeable, and the best part, selling the cheapest BNIB part I have ever known. They are also very quick to have the parts for you available to pick up. How hard is it to pick the right part, insure the part ordered is indeed the part in the package, and have the package delivered to the right address?? It's not rocket science!!! Apparently it is for these fuck ups. I consider myself to more patience and understanding than most so after the 4th day of calling and trying to get a tracking number on the package that was to be sent 3 days prior replacing the "mis-packaged" item that was sent previously I still didn't cancel my order and shop elsewhere.
