Well, I was looking for interior lights for my boyfriend's truck. There were so many and I didn't know what size to get and spark plug covers too for an upcoming camping trip. I was reading the package to see what cars they might be compatible with. I felt kind of overwhelmed and annoyed at this point so I was looking at gas cans and I hear someone say are you still looking at spark plugs? It took me a minute to realize this associate was actually talking to ME! I was confused because not only did I not have those items anymore but I was now on a completely different aisle. And this guy "Steven"just stood there! I felt super uncomfortable and He did not attempt to help me or anything I thought to myself that's it and then this creepy associate actually followed me!! I said Why are you following me? I don't know what kind of traffic they get in there but you know what? that's not my problem. I'm an attractive girl and I'm dressed nice there's no reason to treat me like a transient thief! If I was in there an excessively long time, then maybe I would deserve it but no, I was in the store for about seven minutes and he offered help in a very sarcastic way the time to help me had come and gone . Then he got very defensive even argumentative I said not only did you not help me earlier but now I'm being followed by you like I've stolen something?! This was the worst shopping experience in my life. I'm definitely calling the district manager i'm making a formal complaint. Whatever you do, please do not go here. I usually go to the one on Newland but they sent me here because my battery was not in stock. Tell me why I came here and was there for a whole hour and nobody knew how to remove the battery from the car. I ended having to drive back to Newland with a new battery in my trunk hoping they can change it out. However...I came to find out this place gave me the wrong battery and also forgot to put back my screws! I was PISSED. Should've never touched it if you don't know what you're doing. Horrible customer service and they are so clueless! The guys off Westminster and Newland saved me that night and was able to figure it out and change it in less than 15 minutes. read more

I came here today July 16 to purchase coolant fluid for my car. I was told that there was a tiny leak but just in case I got it and asked the staff (Asian guy, a little chubby in figure, very short hair, in red polo) for help. He said he doesn't know how to fill out the coolant and said that he would just check out the item and I could fill it up myself. I asked if he could ask other staff and he said he will ask his manager Then he walked me to where the coolant fluid was and handed me the coolant fluid so I could carry it back to his registry. At this time I realized why was he doing this? It has always been customers asking and the staff would go get the item and bring them back to check it out. What was the point of making me walk over there with him, handed it to me, just to get back to his check out place. He could have done it by himself. Once I paid, he said bye and I had to remind him that I needed help with checking the coolant fluid to see if it is empty. I'm stupid in car stuff that's why I asked for help. So the Latino staff in black hoodie helped me and told me that I was not supposed to fill it up right now because if I open the coolant container, the pressure will release and explode. This was something I didn't know and I am thankful that he told me. I want to say thanks to this man for being knowledgeable and helpful in his job. If I didn't reach out for extra help and just filled it up after purchase (like what the red shirt Asian guy let me do), I would have burnt myself or even die Please AutoZone, since you are a professional service unlike Walmart or Target regular check out, hire people with knowledge on cars or one day a customer can be injured because some guy tells them they can't help and they can just do it. I don't know how much training someone receives before starting this job but that was (1) a horrible service (2) dangerous and unhelpful when they can't refer me to someone who knows without me asking them twice. I've gone here a few times to get my headlights, tail lights, and now recently my windshield wipers changed and the service here is awesome. This place is located on Westminster, close to Edwards, in the same plaza as WAGS, KFC, and Home Depot. There's plenty of parking, so you don't have to worry. Like I've said, I've gone here to buy things to replace my headlights and tail lights. Every time, I always get the same tall guy with a beard and he's so nice! I'm sorry I never caught your name, but you're awesome. On Sunday, I needed my windshield wipers changed quick and I watched a bunch of YouTube videos on how to change them and I just could NOT get the old ones off, no matter how hard I tried. I drove over here and I had two employees try and fail until the second one sent out my bearded savior. He was able to figure it out quick and put on my new ones for me and even tossed the old ones. Super sweet and nice guy. I'm going to get your name next time (because there will probably be a next time where I can't figure out how to change something on my car). Terrible customer service from John. Came in 1/2 @ 5:30pm to process an online return for a mispackaged product. John refused to processed my return and told me to come back in the morning. When I asked why, they told me they drop cash in the safe at a certain time (completely irrelevant) when my product was paid by credit card. It appears they don't take care if their customers here and will not provide post sale service. Avoid this store or go across the street to O'reilly's. read more

I work nearby and noticed a headlight out on my way to work today. For the past 7 years ive owned my current car, I would usually come here for bulb replacements without issues. I asked the cashier for help installing it during the limited time on my lunch break, but he said the tech was busy with another customer and I'd have to wait. Not a problem. When I approached the tech outside, he said he needed manager approval to help with lights? This was surprising since I've been coming here for the 7 years I've had the car and never heard that before. The cashier didn't mention it either at checkout. Eventually the tech came back out when they saw I was still outside and claimed he couldn't help because it would be too difficult and he needed a screwdriver. needing some assistance on how to remove the track covering on the floor of my 2014 Chevy Silverado, because of a sticky meatball mixture that toppled over and spilled all over the passenger side on my way home. I managed to get a good bit of it cleaned off, but was having problems having to try to figure out how to remove the clip track to get to the covered wires because of all the jelly and barbecue sauce mixture. Sky was very patient and came out with his pick set and showed me how to pop it off and left it undone so it's easy for me to clean up the residual and start cleaning up the carpet. This store has the absolute worst customer service. Bought snow chains and was told they could be returned if the seal wasn't broken, ended up not using them and tried to bring them back but lost the receipt in between. Two separate employees were completely condescending and rude and refused to make any attempt to research the return. Eventually had to go thru a number of people on the customer service line to escalate the transaction to the district manager to process the return. Watched as the counter salespeople assisted customers with replacing wiper blades, etc. so when I struggled with mine I popped back in and got help from Peter. I had the old wiper arm off the car having had it break already and brought it in so they could experiment. Peter, took the time to view the YouTube videos and after a few minutes, returned with needlenose pliers and showed me the trick. I stepped outside with his pliers and in a minute, replaced mine! Horrible horrible service. A worker seen me come in , no greeting. I passed by another employee and nothing. Didn't even ask me if I needed help or anything. The girl who rang me up didn't ask about the rewards program in case I had one or not. I was the one to tell her that I have my phone number. Then she rang me up and same thing, didn't ask if I found everything okay. Just said "are you ready? " then left me at the register while my credit card was processing. She then started talking to her co-workers and then picked up the phone while I was still at the register waiting for my receipt. Instead I just took my own receipt. I believe their lead or supervisor was there as well if he's wearing the dark gray polo shirt. I don't know if it had anything to do with me being a woman but just horrible service. I came to this location after going to the one on Golden West first, they didn't have the exact battery I needed (mine went bad and was under warranty) so they told me this was the closest one and they had the battery. I should have just gone to a different one. I walk in and went up to one of the employees at the counter and explained my situation. She goes on to tell me I need to take my battery out and bring it so they can give me a new one, when the other location was ready to jump out and help me take it out and replace it. I was by myself and had no tools, how was I supposed to take this out myself? Then I ask the girl "can't you guys take it out" and she tells me it's only her and one other employee and she can't leave the other employee alone because the other guys are on lunch, which I understand. So I asked "how long until they're back from lunch" and she tells me an hour AS TWO EMPLOYEES WALK INTO THE STORE WITH STARBUCKS. So you're telling me I have to wait an hour as they come in with some food?? Wow. She then told me I could go to another location...I had gotten off of work over an hour before this, and she wanted me to continue driving with a bad battery?? Not only a dumb idea but also not very safe. The other employee noticed I was getting irritated and she said "they'll be back in about 20 minutes" so now the previous employee lied to me? Bad customer service is one thing but to also lie to my face? That's just ridiculous. After waiting a little over 20 minutes the employee that actually switched out my battery was quick and helpful, but the first girl I spoke to needs a lesson or three in customer service and apparently how to be honest! Bought snow chains for a weekend trip. They only offered one kind, so I assume they were all they had (which seems pretty bad on its own). Upon taking them out, I realized they were scuffed up and very obviously previously used. I put them on anyway as I was already on the mountain. After very little driving and little effectiveness, the chains actually broke after an hour or so. When I brought them back I was told they wouldnt refund me l. They said I must have gone over the speed limit (I didn't, I drove very cautiously as there was a lot of ice and snow). Then they said they couldn't be used, because they check all returns. So they blamed me for the faulty, used product they sold me and refused any responsibility. I will try somewhere else in the future. Never any autozone ever again though. Should have known these sort of stores wouldnt be helpful at all. read more

First time coming here and I was amazed by the service compared to the the O'reilly's that's across the street. I bought a lawn and garden battery at this location a few weeks ago. I told the girl I was a Veteran and asked her for discount and she says ok but forgets to give me the discount. I use the battery about 3 times for about 5 hours and battery goes dead so I take it back to get checked and charged up. I go back a few hours later and guy says battery ok and fully charged. I go home and hook it up and it works. Next day go to do a job and battery dead. No Auto Zone nearby so I go to Pep Boys and buy a new one. Later I go to another auto store and they check it and tell me it's no good. I go back to AutoZone and they won't give me a refund only a new battery which I don't need. Then he says he could give me store credit. I said no because I will never shop there again read more
