Went in to purchase windshield wipers this evening around 1900 and was greeted and immediately helped. There were two workers (I'm drawing a blank with remembering their names, and one has his last name on there haha but it was something with a D) But anyways I was given great advice on the purchase and received excellent service with the installment of my new windshield wipers. I just want to give a praise to some companies hiring employees and actually focusing on good customer service. I didn't receive the best service today with my car when brought to the dealership so I appreciate my day ending well with a great experience. The autozone is close to my new home and it gives me an opportunity to stop going to Oriellys which in the past was my "go to" for random car purchases. read more

I came in for help on fixing my taillight that had gone out. I came in to Autozone, and was greeted and helped immediately. Alex and the guys at the store replaced the light from start to finish and did not give up until it was done. It was so helpful and they were all extremely friendly. I'm a fan of this AutoZone location because the staff is great! They're extremely helpful when I come in clueless about what I need to fix my car. I've never heard them try to upsell anyone, and have in fact heard them mention to another customer that they could get a cheaper part and still be safe if they wanted to. Recently, my husband & I stopped in to get a replacement bulb for a headlight. The staff at the front desk looked up the part number we needed, and directed us to the aisle it was in - even mentioning the color of the packaging the blub would be in. (The blub in the packaging he suggested was the cheapest, but we ended up buying a slightly higher priced bulb in the same model number that claimed to be brighter for night driving.) The staffer asked if my husband or I knew how to install the light, and I'm sure he would have helped us with that if I hadn't said that my Dad was looking forward to helping my husband install the light. That lead to some funny banter between the staffer & my husband about father-in-laws and "new school" vs. "old school" methods for car repair. I've also been to this shop alone to get red tape as an in between fix for a broken brake light before a replacement light ordered online could come in, and headlight cleaner to fix some very dim looking headlights that wouldn't allow me to pass inspection- both for a car I'm no longer driving since it was getting old & becoming a money pit. I appreciate a store treating a woman in a car repair shop as another customer to be helpful to, instead of a mark that should have products she doesn't need sold to her. (Jiffy Lube, you're the biggest offender in making me feel like a talked down to woman!) I would recommend this store to anyone in the area that wants helpful staff to greet them & help fix their car problems. read more

Quick, efficient and friendly. I went in the get windshield wipers and didn't even have to wander the store aimlessly looking for what I needed. Someone greeted me when I walked in and was able to offer me options on the computer. He went over and grabbed me what I selected and checked me out. He was even nice enough go to replace my old wipers with the newly purchased wipers. This might not be exciting for most people but I have the hardest time changing those things! read more

Came in to get some spray to clean hard to remove stains on my car. Called ahead, very proficient call handling skills even when faced with with weird inquires. Plenty of free parking, large spacious store. Awesome, attentive & helpful staff. Advised me correctly as to the best items to get, did not push for any of the expensive stuff but recommended the cheapest (price/value) items available. Had some other questions regarding car care/maintenance, which were appropriately answered. read more

This place sucks thay couldn't help me with with a simply Oil treatment question n got frustrated and rude with me over a return like I was my fault they can give me the correct part the first time or that they didn't have enough money in the drawer to pay me for my return.. also asked about the Lucus and what one to use for my car n was told they didn't no and they were more consigned about my return f these guys auto zone need to find people who can actually help there customers not bitch at them cus there old n have no common knowledge read more

God what is their problem???i was waiting at the counter for-ever staring at the guy zoning the items and you can tell he was playing around...stood there for a long time even said "hello"? a few times. He just looked at me and went further down the isle ...zoning.. Excellent service. I went in here (absolutely clueless) to buy windshield wipers... The guy who helped me was great. Not only did we have some playful banter which i really appreciated because i was having a pretty crappy day, but he helped me pick out some wipers. He talked me through all the selections, picked out the right size, installed them on my car, and even showed me exactly how it was done. He also was completely honest and told me that i only needed to buy one wiper which was damaged by snow / ice. read more

This is the WORST autozone experience I have ever had. I usually love going to Auto zones because everyone is so helpful and willing to help. In other ones the workers have even come out to check out the problem and assist me in buying the items I need. I was in Braintree and walked in with my husband to this man at the counter. He appeared to be a manager or shift manager and when we told him what we needed and shared pictures of the parts he said that he "is not a car person and can't help" and when asked where are other workers that can be said "not here". It made no sense to me but my husband and I shared that we have always had experienced people help us at auto zone and it is odd he can't help us. He said "oh well". We left immediately. What a sucky service. Do yourself a favor and go to the one in Dorchester or anywhere else where you will feel respected as a customer. read more

This place is great! After going to an Advanced Auto Parts and being bullied into purchasing a headlight and then being told they couldn't assist me in installment (after I noted I had no idea what I was doing) I called up Autozone on a suggestion from a friend. The gentleman who answered the phone was friendly and even told me the best time to come in so I could have someone on site help install the headlight. I went in first thing in the morning (extremely helpful for those who commute into Boston; they open at 7:30am) and was met by two friendly staff members who found the part and had the installation done within 20 minutes total. Clean and conveniently located right off Rte 3 I will be going back to this store for any and all of my car needs. Thank you Autozone! read more

AutoZone is an auto parts store. Good service. I went there on 5/4/2009 to get a new air filter for my 1998 Toyota. I told the guy at the counter what I needed. I didn't know what brand I wanted and I didn't know the part number. No problem. Someone went into the regular aisle part of the store and got it for me. Thanks guys! read more

My experience purchasing a case of oil at this location left me astounded with the associate lacking to offer answers to simple questions! They were more concerned about chatting with other co-workers and seemed annoyed I asked for help! After asking for a case of a specific oil, I was told they didn't sell anything by the case and handed me a box that "I" could load into the box! I'm a 55 year old woman!! They couldn't offer to simply carry the box to the register for me! When I asked if someone could help me carry it to the register, they said I could go get a cart! These people clearly have no clue about etiquette never mind even knowing what customer service is! I don't see this store surviving with employees like this! Train or replace your employees ! I'd give negative stars if possible! I can honestly say I've never encounter employees at a store being so indignant ! read more

Wow, they sure know customer service. I had bought a pair of windshield wipers there, when it rained a little I heard a rubbing sound. Since they had been kind enough to put them on for me, I called & they suggested I come back so they could take a look. I went over and the person that came out said they looked like they were on ok, but bring my sales slip back and they could exchange them out. It was one of those things I would think about only when I heard the noise with a light rain and then .. oops never got back there. Came across the slip while doing my taxes and decided to pop by next time I was in the area to see if anything could be done or purchase new ones. The manager said well at this point they probably should get new ones anyway. ( it was almost a yr since my purchase). I said ok, fine, just rather purchase a different brand, maybe something a little better I was ok with paying more. We went back inside, got new wipers,back out to the car and he changed them over without saying a thing, I followed him back to pay and he seemed surprised I was behind him. Because he gave me new wipers at no charge! That was not necessary, I was not looking for that. Helpful, professional and beyond my expectations on a small sale ( $40) I wish I purchased more things for my car to support them more, but hopefully this review can bring them more business. They deserve it! read more

Check engine light was on and I took it there. First associate was friendly but he couldn't find where the OBD2 scanner was. I also tried looking everywhere and couldn't find it. Then he asked another associate to double check and he couldn't find it and said 'probably its not there, previous owner must have taken it out'. Well I was puzzled and was not ready to give up yet and kept looking and found a plastic cover on the dash and the OBD scanner hiding underneath. The trouble started when I went back to tell this dude that I have found the port and he can bring his scanner to check the code. He was RUDE from that point and said wait it will be a while before he could come again! I didn't say anything and waited outside - he took care of couple of customers. Then as he realized I'm standing there waiting and he has no customers to attend, he started asking people browsing in the isle if they want something at the counter. Finally with a very rude attitude he came out and asked me to start the car. I had given the key to first associate and had not taken back so I said "Do you have my key, I don't have it?" and he was very rude "Why should have your key?bla bla". I was still patient and said "I gave it to your associate and I thought he would have given you". Again he got angry and stayed rude with few remarks. Before going back to the store and checking with the 1st associate for the key - I looked around and found the key in the car left by the 1st associate. Horrible experience - feels bad to go all the way to Weymouth AutoZone when this one is walkable distance from my home... read more
