A very clean and well stocked store. We were greeted by a friendly employee when we entered.

Woke up this morning ( insert Sopranos theme song here) and my car didn't start. As I sat in the driveway a million thoughts on instantly came to mind. "Do I call out if work?" " Do I need a tow truck" "where did I put the card with the tow truck information my husband told me to put in my wallet but didnt because I was too busy scrolling thru my phone" all the thoughts! I tried the car again, no luck. 3, 2, 1 On the car goes! Thank goodness. Did the 8-5, then made it here to Auto Zone. Went in and asked for help. Someone came and hooked up the battery tester, then Bam! A receipt came out! Confirming that the battery was bad. Purchased a new battery and got it installed right then an there. Super nice person and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this Auto Zoom Location to anyone needing car help. read more

I've shopped at this particular AutoZone multiple times in the past and never had any issues;clean store, friendly service. I'm writing my review today because of a particular experience I had last night when I was in a massive bind with my car broken down on the shoulder of 595 with all signs pointing to either dead battery or dead alternator. Battery being the easier fix, my spouse scooped me up and we ordered from their website the cheapest battery we could find from this store on the way and went in for a quick pickup, in hopes that we could at least start my car back up and get it home. The first employee we spoke to located our order in a snap and went in the back of find the battery. He came back about 5 minutes later saying that it appears that they're out of them. This wasn't good. I explained that we wouldn't have been able to place the order if their inventory reflected that there were none in stock, and I tried not to get too frustrated internally because of our stressful situation with my car still hanging out on the shoulder of the highway and the thought of now having to locate another store, another battery... Not my idea of a fun Friday night. The employee began to offer a refund, but fortunately, a manager was just finishing up with another customer and overheard that the employee was having difficulty finding the battery, and said that he would go in the back and double check himself. Another five minutes or so later and the manager comes out with essentialy an upgraded battery of the same size and said that this one would have a three year warranty, on the house, no extra cost. It took me a minute to process what had actually happened because I was so stressed out about my car, but this man truly saved the day when he could have easily just given us our money back and sent us on our way. I will certainly return to this store and continue giving them my business without hesitation. read more

I came into this AutoZone for some brake lightbulbs. For some reason and oddly enough they both went out this morning. Jhalan did a courtesy check to see if there was anything wrong with my vehicle. No, it turns out it was just the bulbs. He would have installed the bulbs for free but he could not get off my back brake light covers easily, it was kind of complicated. So he recommended I go to Firestone which is what I did. He was kind and honest. Auto Zone have a lot of merchandise to choose from. This location seems smaller than others. I will stop here in the future when I need car care supplies. read more

I bought a battery here 1 year ago and it died on me a few days ago, when I went back to let them know, they didn't even try to help with my 1 year warranty because I came a couple days after the 1 year date - considering a battery is supposed to last 3-4 years this is very disappointing and not coming here again. read more

My husband went in today for a new battery and when he got home he couldn't stop talking about the great customer service he had. At first my husband was assisted by another employee who sold him a battery no problems. However, when he went to the register, Andrae Pearce asked him if the other attendant had checked to see if the battery was under warranty. My husband stated that he hadn't and Andrae quickly checked the system, saw we were under warranty and refunded us our money. Totally nice guy and saved us a pretty penny. Tested my battery and alternator and installed a new battery for me even though it had started to rain. This is the sort of service I have come to appreciate living in Davie for over 20 years. I came to switch my battery out on my vehicle because it was showing signs of not functioning properly. I spoke to a young gentleman who assisted me quickly. I told him that the car was 'clicking', as the battery was not functioning properly. The worker did a test and it showed the battery was "all good". However, I had went to a mechanic prior and was told the battery was shot. With that in mind, I decided to head to Autozone to get a new battery under the warranty I had. The worker claimed since the battery was "all good", that the 'clicking issue' could be a starter or alternator issue. I had my car diagnosed prior to coming in and was told the battery was the main issue. Telling the gentleman the information, he provided to tell me that he could not do much since the battery was "all good". So I listened to the gentleman and went on my way. I had a terrible day looking for the correct battery for my car. I went everywhere and I was even told that I could buy the battery that I needed but they wouldn't install it because I had a plastic cover over my battery.(Advanced Auto Parts-- don't go there)... So it requires for you to take the plastic off then put the battery in. This Auto Zone was my last hope and sure enough they saved me. I brought a new battery for a great price and they installed it for me without any hesitation. That's great customer service! read more

You would think they would hire people who have a desire to help you out. The associate I asked for help could give a crap about my issue with my car. I recommend going somewhere else to buy your car items to help it out. I go to an automotive store to find people genuinely in the know on how to find the right products to help you out and have a vested interest in seeing you get the help you need. Everytime I come here for a quart of oil an employee helps me funnel it into my car. Today a foreign lady, didint get her name, refused to help me. She didint even want to go grab the oil for my car for me. I've always respected this place & the employees. I'm now driving home with no oil in my car because she claimed she didint have a funnel. Been using this particular store mainly because they install batteries. I went today with a friend on a jumped battery. I am a senior woman and so is my friend. I parked in the handicapped spot and went in to purchase a battery. A young man takes his little tester out to check the charge. He said yes, I did in fact have a dead battery. As we were outside he said he wouldn't be able to install it for me because there was some green stuff around the post and connector. I didn't really understand his reasoning so he said he would ask his manager. They both decided they couldn't do the free install. I said I would take my vehicle elsewhere but of course it wouldn't start. I ended up buying it there and my friend and I, two handicapped women, installed it there in the parking lot ourselves. It took us a while but we had no choice. These two guys in the store never even came out to pull the old battery out. Worst service ever. I will never go back to this location. read more
