We were very concerned, so we called around to see if our trusted mechanic--or any local mechanic--could look at the car. No one could fit us in right away, and since Jiffy Lube is open on weekends, we scheduled an appointment there and had the front brakes replaced. Luckily, we only did the front. When our mechanic finally inspected the car, they confirmed the rear brakes were in good condition, so it's very likely the front were fine too. The replacement was unnecessary. This was fraud. They performed and charged for work that didn't need to be done. If you care about honesty and safety, avoid this location and always get a second opinion before agreeing to any repairs. Im very disappointed because we've given them business throughout the years for oil changes.

I had them repair 2 different vehicles and the work was done on time and done well. I recently brought in my Audi A8 for spark plugs and oil Change. I usually take it to the dealership because it's a twin turbo V8 and not an easy car to work on. American exceeded my expectations and did a better job than the dealership with follow up and attention to detail. They used OEM parts and the car was ready for pick up same day. These guys are professional car guys and it shows. They earned my business. I will recommend them to everyone that asks. Nice folks , clean shop and professional attention. Prices are reasonable and you don't get the up sell you would get at a dealership. I recommend making an appointment because they are a busy shop. Today in particular I had an appt to get tires mounted (that I ordered from Walmart shipped directly to the store AND called ahead to make appt for install) and when I arrived they said due to all wheel drive their policy they can't mount the tires unless it's all four at once. Why they didn't tell me that on the phone is beyond me.
