However, after deciding to look into an Escalade, 1 vehicle I have never owned before, Jeff, the finance manager at Johnson, showed me 1 of our supposed oldest friends (another finance manager) did me wrong. $10,000+ worth of additional interest on mu current lease and probably couldn't get me out of it. Drove 2 vehicles into this dealership, for a "trade in" to then purchase a brand new 2024 Hummer EV 3x. Took delivery of the vehicle, and noticed a "ding" in the quarter panel before having ever parked the vehicle. Dealership said they would reimburse me for the cost of repair, at a certified shop near my home. Forwarded them the estimate/invoice. Crickets from sales rep. Car was over $100k. BADCADILLAC.com for all the info I went to Johnson Cadillac in March/April of 2024, test drove a car, gave them a $10,000.00 deposit on a 2023 CERTIFIED used Cadillac, signed a bunch of paperwork but NEVER TOOK THE CAR HOME. Why you ask. Because Johnson Cadillac is a corrupt dealership, filled with lying con artists that try feeding on the vulnerable people that come to them looking for a car. The car was a CERTIFiED vehicle and yet before I could take it home it had to be sent out to a third party because the strut was falling off the car, the control arm was bent and it needed a front end alignment. It needed all this AFTER it was sold to me as a CERTIFiED used Cadillac with a 172 point checklist that specifically stated struts, control arms and alignment were good. It got no better at Johnson Dodge, the sister store, when I went there to explain the problems considering Johnson CADILLAC couldn't figure anything out. The sales manger at Johnson Cadillac told me face to face that they don't have a front end rack there, don't inspect the front ends of any cars prior to certifying them and as a matter of fact he assured me that NONE of the vehicles that have left Johnson Cadillac have ever had a full 172 point inspection prior to selling them CERTIFIED. They feed on people like YOU. I told them I'm not like the others so I'm doing a good deed and warning people about the despicable, conniving, deceitful thieves that call Johnson Cadillac their home. I have fully documented my experience with these people and was forced to send them an email calling them out on all their malicious behavior. They NEVER responded. Bought a 2024 Escalade from Johnson Cadillac. Want to start off by saying my salesman, Shelby, was great. The only reason I stuck with the deal was because of him. Now to the bad.. we get there and do the paperwork, Go outside to drive the truck home and the there's a ding in the door and couple of scratches on it, not a huge deal it can be fixed. We left the truck there for a week to fix it, go back a week later and not only are the original issues not fixed theres an additional ding in the door and more scratches in addition to the original ones so whoever was supposed to fix the issues didn't. Now being that this was the second time the truck was damaged we were pretty annoyed and basically could've just done this deal anywhere. I mention to Shelby I think we are just going to cancel the order and being that we paid the truck outright I said we might as well get our check back. While saying this the finance manager, JEFF BASH, who had nothing to do with this deal as he was off the day we did the paperwork, says "I'll go get your check and you should go buy a truck from another dealer". I was a little taken back by this as like I mentioned he had nothing to do with the sale and now he's also messing with the salesman's deal. Again Shelby did all he could to save the deal and Also seemed taken back by statement JEFF BASH made. He also assured me everything would be taken care of, I was still on the fence. After meeting with the sale manager, Dave Gardner, we tried to work something out, it wasn't going well as we couldn't agree so I asked to have my check refunded and documentation saying the deal was voided to which he agreed. The sales manager went into JEFF BASH's office to have him give the check back along with documentation, JEFF BASH, not knowing I was standing outside the office refused to give any written documentation and told Mr. Gardner to just give the check back, Mr. Gardner came out and had to write it up himself. After more discussions with Mr. Gardner we were able to come up with a solution to save the deal. Shelby was able to get the issues fixed and had the truck looking immaculate. Later in the day we take delivery of the truck and while on the phone with Shelby, JEFF BASH chimes in and asks me if I said in the showroom that I said Shelbey was responsible for this and should've checked the car after the repairs were made, when I told him I never said that, JEFF BASH, begins to call me a lair and says I did in fact say that, after some back and fourth I ended the conversation because I couldn't believe that JEFF BASH, a MANAGER and representative of Johnson Cadillac, would first off tell a customer they should go buy a truck somewhere else after there was damage on a truck at delivery and a week later ,then refuse to give written documentation of a cancelled deal at the customers request and the sales managers request and then get on the phone and outright call a customer a liar. Then when I told JEFF BASH I would be making a review based on this experience he began to raise his voice again and tell me I would be tarnishing the dealerships reputation and that I didn't have the right to do that. Following my conversation with Shelbey, I called Mr. Gardner to let him know what I just experienced on the phone. I mostly wanted to let him know because if the Finance Manager, JEFF BASH, acted this way toward a customer I can only imagine his behavior towards other employees. Unlike JEFF's "about me" on the company's website which says "he takes great pride in overachieving customers expectations, ensuring they have the best experience possible" I had the complete opposite experience and wanted to share. I'm sure nothing will come of JEFF's behavior because no one above Mr. Gardner has made any contact with me following this incident. Purchased a used GMC Yukon XL from out of state, the team was great with my trade-in giving it a fair value and the vehicle was great, but as soon as I drove off the lot I was forgotten. Over 2 months passed and there was zero followup transferring my plates and tags and the woman that manages the process made it sound like it just landed on her desk. I needed to ask for replacement tags multiple times and had to repeatedly call to ask if temporary tags mailed since can't register the car without the required paperwork. ill make this as short as possible. do not buy a used vehicle from this dealership. I bought a 06 Impala from Rick Holt. Car was listed for $7995 with 72k miles. I was ready to walk away from it because the car looked completely beat up. Pictures online were deceiving. reluctently i made a deal and left with the car. 10 minutes from returning home from a 2 Hour ride I loose power steering. I call up Rick and he tells me to visit your own mechanic and get a diagnosis And we can take care of the bill. I go to the mechanic get the estimate and email it back to Rick. Not only did the power steering pump and power steering rack need replacing but there were numerous other issues with the car. I'm still waiting for a $900 check that they keep telling me is in the mail that Rick gave me his word that they would help me out on. It's been 2 months. Bottom line is the service department never inspected this vehicle. They took it in on a trade and put it right out on the lot. I never would have imagine this would happen to me at a dealership. This is my experience and I have the service bill from my mechanic to prove it along with email From Rick saying they "mailed out the check". There's the proof I'm not lying about it. i understand a car this old will need some service but this is way beyond that. The car isn't road worthy and should have never even been out on the lot. Visited looking to buy a car, but feeling discouraged because of the market and because every other dealer I had been to previously had not been willing to bend to work with my needs. Jon was amazing and very upfront. I showed him the car I was looking to buy and asked him to run the numbers for the vehicle I wanted and a lower model to see what might work better. He asked me a plethora of questions to try to get me any rebate or discount I could have possibly been qualified for. This is more of a 2.5 rating. Purchased a 2023 GMC 1500 Denali Ultimate on 10 May. Sales and finance folks were nice. Out of state purchase. Had decent communication with salesman via text and phone. I flew in and my salesman drove a hour to airport to pick me up and drive me to the dealership. That was very nice. We had talked about a 90 day deferred payment but that did not happen. 840 credit score but no deferred payment? Not a deal breaker but worth mentioning. It was difficult to get the numbers from them before I arrived. They said they were busy. I just wanted them to be busy with me and the sale they were still working with me. Only after talking about walking away from deal did I get someone to go over the numbers. Anyway, everything else was as discussed on financing. Numbers checked out to include the mark up. Salesman took me through the truck and options, set up GMC accounts and all the things you would want them to do. Truck was clean and ready to go. The dealer had ordered and installed the color matching fender surrounds. I did not notice until I was 5 hours away and at home but there are dents all along the fender from the install of this item. I had taken pictures at dealer and if you zoom in you can see them. I did mention it to my salesman via text. I was not terribly upset but it would have been nice to be asked if they could make it right, nope! Whoever installed my rear floor mat did a pretty bad job of cutting it to fit. The front license plate holder was not installed and I was not going to wait although I had mentioned it a week prior to arriving. Like another post, I am on my third set of temp tags and no clear end in sight to this cycle. Sent emails, texts and salesman said he would give me status but none provided, gotta say I am disappointed as all of this is avoidable. I am sure the dealership and the Johnston Group is not hurting for business. Unless you live close and in state, I would just buy from somewhere else. Furthermore, the truck needs warranty work: grill has bubble in chrome and glove box does not open. Good luck out there. read more

July of 2020. I traveled from southwest of philly, about a 3 hour ride, to get a truck that I had been searching for, for nearly a year (the right truck with the right options, etc.) So I was pretty pumped up. My "sales professional" was a pretty typical car salesman. Fast talking, making every attempt to squeeze as much out of me as he could, rather then trying to make a fair deal. And I'm pretty sure they got a little more than they should have, but whats done is done. The "finance guy" was also a typical money guy. Rushing me through the paperwork, not providing ANY DOCUMENTATION on the warranty(s) other than the pamphlet that anyone can get in the lobby. With some analysis of the bill of sale and all that, they charged me for things without fulling explaining them (which I admit is partly my fault for not reading every single word). The guys I dealt with are "nice enough" on a personal level they are a typical pressure type sales group as far as I've experienced. It's October 13th and my deal was done on July 11, and i STILL DON'T HAVE ANY DOCUMENTATION on the warranty(s) I paid for. Very sad. I would highly recommend anyone thinking of using this dealer to think twice. read more

What a great car buying experience ! And now for the back story. This is our second car in the past two months, having just replaced a Ford Five Hundred with a Fusion. We were now getting ready to replace our Yukon since it just hit the magic number of 120,000 miles. We knew a large SUV was in our future before June of 2014. After visiting and talking with more than a dozen GMC/ Chevy dealers, both local and out of state, I was getting a little frustrated in my search for a low mileage Yukon/ Tahoe. Even with time on my side and a working Yukon in the driveway I was not getting any closer to finding the "right" truck at the right price point. That all changed after I arrived at Callaremi. It was not my intention of stopping into Callaremi, it just "happened". While driving back from Port Murray on 46 I spotted a late model Yukon in their lot. I pulled in and liked what I saw. At that point I thought "why not stop in and get a price." I entered a clean and well lit showroom, stocked with a variety of trucks and cars. I was greeted by a very personable salesman (Art) who made me feel welcome and who was not pushy at all. It was refreshing when he made general small talk with me and did not jump right into "selling mode." That happens all to often. Art answered a few questions about the leftover Yukon and then we proceeded out onto the lot to take a look at it. Fast forward......I checked out the car, talked about cars in general, talked about our hobbies and family.....and before you know it he offered the car to me for the afternoon so I could show it to my wife. He was NOT pushy at all. Really. He said take it home, drive it and let your wife drive it. Fast forward again..... my wife loved the Yukon, but not the color. I returned to the dealer thinking that I would be starting my search over again. I told Art that the color was just not making the grade. At that point Art showed my another Yukon that was on the showroom floor. It was "red" and my wife loved "red" trucks. Unfortunately the truck was an SLT-2 and was out of our comfort zone financially. But, it was really a nice Yukon. A big step up from the first car. Art said maybe we could come to a price that was comfortable for Maria and I. I thought why not, lets see how the numbers work out. At that point I met the sales manager "Chip" and the owner Mr. Callaremi. They both could not have been nicer and more accommodating. We sat down and talked about the pros and cons of both vehicles and their respective prices. They also factored in the numbers that Maria and I felt comfortable with. They were very understanding when it came to the amount of money we had to spend. This was a big purchase for us and they were aware of our limitations. At no time did we feel pressured to purchase one car over another or even buy a car from them. That was nice. Fast forward...a few conversations later, Maria coming back to the dealer to see the "red" Yukon, another test ride and of course just a little negotiation...no high pressure and we then agreed upon a figure! Mr. Callaremi even included a maintenance package for the first two years. You can't beat that! We ended up with a truck that my wife loves, we agreed upon a price that was fair to both the dealer and us. All parties happy ! Now just a little summary about Callaremi GMC. I have purchased numerous cars and trucks over the years and very rarely have I felt this comfortable inside a dealership. Most of the vehicles I have purchased in the past 15 years have been over the internet and phone, with no face to face contact. Just emails and calls. From the minute I walked in Callaremi I felt welcomed and under no pressure to buy a car or truck. While I was walking around the lot and dealership there was no salesman following me and "hounding" me. They just let me take my time and look. If I had a question, Art was available for me. The entire staff was most "unusual" in a good way. They are not your typical car dealers. It is a very relaxed atmosphere with a lounge area, coffee bar and sales floor all in one. Mr Callaremi and Chip seem to know every customer that entered the building. It was nice to see the owner walking around with a cup of coffee and making small talk with everyone. He seemed to want to make sure everyone was having a good sales and service experience. What words would I use to describe my salesman Art? Friendly, personable, talkative (but also listens to the customer), knowledgeable, helpful, not pushy, cares about the customers needs and zero pressure. What I really liked was that Art worked with me and not against me! Would I recommend Callaremi and Art. Yes, highly. Would I buy from them again? Yes! read more

This is hands down the worst service department that I have ever dealt with at a Cadillac dealership. I scheduled service back in August for my Cadillac and drove 45 minutes to the dealership. Once I arrived the flustered service team is scrambling around trying to figure out a way to let me know that the loaner that was for me is no longer available. Well I'm asked if I would like to sit and wait for the other person to come back to the dealership when I left work to bring up my car. As this can be several hours it was not an acceptable response. There was no demo that I could drive for the afternoon, no offer of a ride, no offer of a Uber at all. I left the dealership and contacted Cadillac Customer Experience who rearranged the service appointment with a loaner the next day and the vehicle being picked up and compensated for the inconvenience. I get a call that the vehicle is fixed and ready only to arrive and the seat not be fixed (showed the service rep and I very clearly notice he rolls his eyes under his sunglasses because why should my seat of a 100k vehicle with 12k miles that I was planning on buying out not squeak excessively? Oh....because he would "have to take apart the entire Recaro seat which is a lot of work" Asked to fix a bent rim and provided my CNA Tire Plan info - Completely ignored. The final straw was I called last evening to follow up on the trim that was backordered from my service appointment over a month and a half ago. I was told parts is on the phone and I would receive a call back in a few minutes. Well I'm still waiting for that call. Thank you Johnson for giving me a final confidence that Cadillac is not the brand that it used to be and that the service is not just horrible......its HORRENDOUS. I can not thank you enough for helping me make the decision to not purchase this CTS-V and that for 100k another luxury brand would be more than happy to provide luxury service. The only person at the entire dealership that I can genuinely thank is Anthony in Sales for coming the pick up the vehicle and offering great customer service. read more

This is literally the best dealership I've ever been to, and I've been to plenty. There is no pressure, they're friendly, and they (gasp) actually WANT to help you find the car you really want. This is literally the most stress free experience I've ever had buying a car. My husband and I actually both got our cars here, because they make it easy and actually listen when you talk. We had 2 different salesmen, and they were both fantastic. I also worked with the owner a little bit, and he's fantastic too. Everyone on the staff is fantastic. They also make sure you know all the features of the car, etc. and are very thorough in going through everything with you. They're incredibly transparent, and don't try to pull any funny business. They also really work with you regarding financing, trade in, etc. Everyone here is incredibly nice, friendly and easy going. I cannot recommend them enough. I very rarely write a review, but needed to based on our amazing experience at Callaremi. We had been searching for a used Pilot for a few months and found one at Callaremi at a great price. We are from MA, with family in NJ. My father checked out the car for us, worked with Art Adams (a great person, and my D.A.R.E. officer when I was in middle school) who gave us a great price and agreed to do a few repairs. I worked with Art over the phone, and he was always friendly, honest and easy to work with. When we came down to pick the car up, everything was done as promised and there were no new fees tacked on (something we had dealt with at another dealer). One final back story, is about a month prior we had looked at another used car, where we were sent to the "used" section of a nice dealership...but the used section made you feel like you were impoverished (old desks, chairs thrown in an old building) and you couldn't be kept with new car buyers...even though you are still spending thousands of dollars. At Calleremi, Mr. Calleremi (the owner) introduced himself to us and chatted with us, even though we were not buying a new car (nor a GM).
