    ill make this as short as possible. do not buy a used vehicle from this dealership. I bought a 06 Impala from Rick Holt. Car was listed for $7995 with 72k miles. I was ready to walk away from it because the car looked completely beat up. Pictures online were deceiving. reluctently i made a deal and left with the car. 10 minutes from returning home from a 2 Hour ride I loose power steering. I call up Rick and he tells me to visit your own mechanic and get a diagnosis And we can take care of the bill. I go to the mechanic get the estimate and email it back to Rick. Not only did the power steering pump and power steering rack need replacing but there were numerous other issues with the car. I'm still waiting for a $900 check that they keep telling me is in the mail that Rick gave me his word that they would help me out on. It's been 2 months. Bottom line is the service department never inspected this vehicle. They took it in on a trade and put it right out on the lot. I never would have imagine this would happen to me at a dealership. This is my experience and I have the service bill from my mechanic to prove it along with email From Rick saying they "mailed out the check". There's the proof I'm not lying about it. i understand a car this old will need some service but this is way beyond that. The car isn't road worthy and should have never even been out on the lot. Shame on you. Transmission lines leaking Crank seal leaking Fuel lines rotted Control arms rotted Emergency brake cable rotted out Intermediate steering shaft worn out Front sway bar broken Exhaust fell off on highway yesterday 3/13/23 $800 repair.

Had been asking for days what the interest rate they…read morecould get us on the loan is, and finally told them we were not coming down to sign paperwork without knowing, because I had been approved for a loan at my bank at 7.89%. Finance guy gets on the phone and tells us the rate is 8%, chastises me over how little the difference in percentage is and how little it will make a difference overall on the loan. We believed him and went to sign the paperwork, only to realize after signing, the rate he gave us was NOT 8% but was in fact 8.84%! I am an idiot for trusting him, and it is costing us more than $500 in interest. Test drove the vehicle the week before purchase, took it to our mechanic for inspection who found an issue, which Kia fixed. Did not check it on 12/26 prior to purchase. Took it home and realized there was a new rip in the passenger front seat, and the heated seats no longer worked, as well as there was still a problem with the front wheel bearing which should have been fixed as part of what they had repaired found by our mechanic. The next day, 12/27/25 the heat stopped working. We realized not long after, the child safety lock was stuck on the driver's side rear door and the tire sensor light was on. After bringing it to service the first time, we were told they never inspected the vehicle!!! Was fed lines before purchase like all their preowned cars undergo a 150 point inspection, and the owner is real big on safety because he does not want a car coming back to them after purchase. Have brought it back multiple times to the service department since then to have these repairs made, but as of today 1/27/26, a month after purchase, they are STILL NOT COMPLETED and was just told to come pick it up AGAIN while they wait for parts! To say I am frustrated is an understatement. I would never purchase a car from them again!

Every dealer I spoke with said they would call me right back (and didn't), told me they had to run my credit over the phone to give me price on the car (even though we weren't financing it), didn't have a car in stock, or just wouldn't give me a price without coming in to the showroom (even when I explained I was very pregnant and on bedrest). Global Automall and Kia Bridgewater were adding an automatic $5k mark up. Eventually I got to Motion Kia and Howie. I asked for the out the door pricing and what colors they had coming in, etc. Howie said he called right back with an out the door price... and actually did. There was no BS just honest answers. I gave a deposit over the phone and when we went in to pick up the car everything was set and ready to go. I couldn't believe how quickly we were in and out. Howie also took the time to set up the Kia app and he sat with us in the new vehicle and showed us all the features the car had to offer. He was even able to mail us the plates as the dealership was about an hour from where we live. Truly an amazing experience from start to finish, my husband and I were extremely pleased with the customer service and fair pricing the dealership offered.

From the start, working with her was super pleasant. She listened and heard what I wanted and what I needed. She worked with their team, and I ended up with exactly what I wanted at the price I felt comfortable with. My vehicle spent over three months at the dealership, and despite multiple repair attempts, it was returned to me with the exact same issue it was originally brought in for. Even worse, it now has additional warning messages and problems that were not present before. As a customer, I was repeatedly assured that the problem had been diagnosed and repaired, only to find out that nothing had actually been resolved. After being without my vehicle for months, rearranging family plans, and dealing with constant inconvenience, I expected accountability and a genuine effort to make things right. Instead, I was met with poor communication and what felt like complete indifference to the hardship this situation caused. I am a father of four. Reliable transportation is not a luxury for my family--it is a necessity. The amount of stress and disruption this experience created was completely unacceptable. To add insult to injury, after all of this time and inconvenience, the dealership's offer to resolve the situation showed little regard for what my family and I had endured. What disgusts me most is that after months in their possession and countless opportunities to correct the problem, I was handed back a vehicle with the same unresolved issue and expected to accept it. That is not customer service. That is not standing behind your work. I trusted Johnson Dodge to do the right thing. Unfortunately, they completely failed to meet even the most basic expectations. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with this dealership.
