My requested task was so simple he could have done it while on the phone, but no. I turned around and left as I didn't have all day to wait. I will make sure to take any of my car parts needs elsewhere from now on. All I wanted to do was drop off a PREPAID, already labeled UPS package (this place is a UPS drop off location). I didn't need it checked in or weighed or anything like that, it was entirely ready to go it just needed to get into the hands of UPS via one of their authorized drop off locations. No clue why I had to talk to one specific person or why it was any more complicated than handing the package to someone so they could put it in the pile that UPS would be picking up later in the day. The whole staff was snarky and not helpful.

It was a quick, painless 15 minutes before I was back on the road in great condition. It was refreshing to get help with exactly what I needed without being pressured to buy anything extra--no pushing new windshield wipers or car fresheners, and no gimmicks for things I didn't need. My battery recently died due to my brake lights not wanting to turn off, even when the car is off and in park. I took it to autozone thinking the battery was bad as well. They checked the battery and said it was fine. I told them about the brake lights and they said they'd check it out. Turns out my switch was bad and instead of having me pay to replace it they just Mcgyver'd it and it works completely fine now. I asked how much, ITS FREE! She tested my battery and clearly explained the results, walked me through every battery option along with the warranties, and explained what works best in Midwest cold weather. I never once felt rushed or pressured. What really stood out was how transparent and knowledgeable she was. She tested the new battery before installing it and showed me the numbers so I could see the difference. After installing it, she tested everything again with the car running, including the alternator, to make sure the entire system was working properly. She also scanned my check engine light, printed the report for me, explained what the codes meant, and talked through what my next steps could be if needed.
