Poor customer service, not helpful, didn't know their products... Needed a new battery and they had it but they didn't know if it needed SAE or metric nut drivers and wouldn't carry it out to car. They refused to guaranty it was even the correct battery, if it was wrong too bad, no returns. Real expensive guess guys... Let me start by saying, I never write bad reviews, unless my experience was reallllly bad. In this case, it was. I have been without my vehicle for 2 months. I had to replace the motor, since I was replacing my motor, I went ahead and replaced my clutch. Clutch kits for my Dodge Challenger run about 1200 bucks. I always have shopped at autozone for my car needs, so during this whole project they have provided most of my parts, Which were great until I needed to purchase my clutch. I trusted them with the quality parts I was looking for, in this case, they failed me. And failed me to a point of no return. The commercial parts person, Juan, was going to order my clutch kit from an outsource at a good price, $700, with the significant price difference, I should have asked more questions. Blindly saying yes, because again I trust autozone, this purchase became very misleading and has cost me MORE money than I was expecting to pay. Mind you, I have already spent thousands of dollars on a 5.7 hemi motor. The clutch "kit" did not come with a pilot bearing, slave cyclinder, nor an alignment tool. When I asked Juan about some of the parts he states "well it depends on what the mechanic wants." For someone who is supposed to know car parts, why wasn't he proactive in asking, "hey you might need this part as well." On top of the missing parts, for me to get these parts it would have been an additional $400. Amongst the $700 I have paid already for this "kit" I have had to purchase all the missing parts ONE BY ONE, because he FAILED to tell me this "kit" had missing pieces that I had to purchase individually. This entire process has delayed my car being fixed about 2 weeks. I've had to wait for these items to be shipped, plus working around my mechanics schedule. In addition, I have had to shell out excessive amounts of money for a rental car because this employee did not know how to do his job, nor did he know what he was ordering. Instead of apologizing, he has argued with me about this huge mistake not being his fault. It's very hard to say I will continue to be an autozone customer. I was better off ordering an original Mopar clutch kit, to save me a headache, money, and it would have probably been better quality. So, if you plan to order commercial parts from Juan, you're better off ordering them yourself and saving yourself lots of money and time! PS. I have already spoken to the GM of the situation but that still doesn't put money back in my pocket, nor does it fix my car. read more

They have what you want, but don't expect above and beyond. Civil but not helpful, and expensive to boot. Didn't offer to carry the heavy battery to the car and didn't know whether the vehicle needed metric or SAE drivers to install. Couldn't be bothered to find out either.
