Totally disappointed with the lack of service! This place has bo integrity. They all smile and reel you in to make you feel special. We were told, " If you have Geico( advised by Melanie and another worker) that it's priority, because GEICO pays in full and in a timely manner versus other insurances that pay as you go pay for a couple of things and then they have to wait for a check to continue repair services on the vehicle which could prolong the time that your vehicle is in the shop". Tentatively we were told the vehicle would be ready around April 3 then after a week or so we were advised that they were trying to get the vehicle out by March 30. We got a call on the 30th indicating the vehicle was ready. Melanie advised that it was in the month and vehicles needed to go home and that the rental car needed to be back by 4/1 therefore, I went there and picked up the vehicle, unable to look at the vehicle due to me just having a procedure the day before drove the vehicle 4.6 miles home parked in the garage until my husband came home . My husband then looked at the vehicle immediately and advised that the bumper was falling apart. There was still some scratches and some rubber pieces in the trunk that were coming apart and not fixed. We then immediately called the caliber collision place and they were closed. I contacted their customer service opened up a ticket number and was advised that I will be called the next morning by 7:30 AM however, wake up next day don't receive a call. I contacted caliber collision and spoke to Mariah who advised that the manager was out of office as well as Melanie. Long story should we take the vehicle today Friday and met manager Jason Klein. He walks out to the vehicle and his first statement was "wow" and that it was a used aftermarket bumper. He indicated he would call insurance on Monday and order parts and get us back in on Monday! However , that was not acceptable as we were told Thursday by our insurance that they would have a rental ready for us today and take the car back in. The manager then told us " We had been driving the vehicle like that for two days , so a couple more days of driving it should not be of any harm to the vehicle" !!! What??? Excuse me that is totally inappropriate and unacceptable as the car has been in the garage since I had driven it home! I advised him to check the mileage on the vehicle when you checked it out versus when I brought it back today!! I advise ANY and everyone to go elsewhere!! This place is full of it and lacks integrity and will NOT REPAIR YOUR VEHICLE ! If they will treat us like this and do these type of repairs or lack there of, then what else is not visible that we cannot see and what else have they not fixed that's underneath that they received $8,000 for!! The quality of work was lackluster and a total miss!! We had to take our vehicle back, go through the rental process again and be without our vehicle!!! The communication with several of the employees there including the manager was also lackluster/lack there of and condescending!! Lastly they left the inside with hand prints all over it, all of the stuff from the trunk all over the vehicle and white stuff all over the seats! We don't keep our vehicle like that!! It's disgusting and disappointing! I don't trust this place to put air in a bicycle tire let alone fix a vehicle! Please take your VEHICLE ELSEWHERE!! I Do NOT recommend this place! Avoid it at all cost or even if it's free! KEEP SCROLLING FOR A SHOP WITH Etiquette , integrity, quality and customer service!!! No, Manager should also tell you that you can wait across the street on a bench while you're waiting for your rental car to come pick you up!!! Don't walk, but RUN AWAY FROM THIS place!! The most dismissive, dishonest car repair location around. Took in my older vehicle for an estimate required by insurance and they refused to even evaluate the alignment and suspension. Only have an estimate for cosmetic purposes. So not fall for this! They would keep my vehicle hostage and then you're required to continue the repairs at their location and they can charge whatever they want. Shady, dishonest, overall rude. My name is Brenda Villalta, I've been using Caliber Collision since I moved here to Texas, which was in 2007. My car always seems to get hit when I'm not in it lol! I used to go to a different location and their work was just as great as the location I use now on city lights Drive in Kyle. You're never stuck in the middle they deal with your insurance so you don't have to. They work is exceptionable. Everything is guaranteed for the life of your car. I love having that in mind because it makes me feel confident that I won't have to worry if something goes wrong. Not only do they do fantastic work with a lifetime guarantee. They are so kind and professional. I became disabled about five or six years ago so now I require a walker always. The last two times I had to use Caliber. They dropped my car off to me so I wouldn't have to wait for someone to bring me because my husband was at work both times. There was a really sweet guy named Jacob Who took me home both times. Super sweet, kind gentle soul that he is. The gentleman who I was working with, who did the bodywork, his name was Paul Beach. He is incredibly kind, patient, available at every moment you call he will be on that phone in less than five minutes of holding. He answers all your questions upfront, never rushes you and then wants to make sure That you don't have any other questions before he hangs up with you. He'll always say at the end of a conversation, is there anything else that you need from me or I can do for you? I find that really nice. His work is impeccable. You would never know even under the lights at night in a parking lot. There are not a single ripple on my rear quarter panel. You cannot tell it was damaged and fixed. The car looks brand new again. Thank you Mr. Paul. All the employees there are awesome. Everybody always asks if you need help even if you're on your way to the bathroom lol! I just love these guys. They're like my second family. I totally trust them with my cars. I would recommend to everybody that lives within a 10 mile radius of city lights drive. Please check out that location of Caliber Collision! Bad bodyshops are everywhere it seems but have confidence bringing your car here. Fernando and Julio were unbelievably good when it comes to customer service and communication. My car repair is undetectable and I could not be happier. Hopefully i will not need their services because that would mean damage was done to my car but I have full confidence in any repair they complete. My car went in for repair on the hood, front fenders, front bumper and headlights. The paint looks flawless and even with a good eye and inspection light i could not tell where the repair ends and OEM starts. Unbelievable! Great job. read more

Worst experience and customer service. They Quoted me 2 months out for a door repair, that occurred in a hit and run. I drive a Honda accord not a Lamborghini, parts are not that hard to come by. I understand shops can be backed up especially with the holidays but this seemed excessive. Don't come to this caliber collision. I walked in looking to make an appointment in regards to a few body repairs. I was in line when a male named Fernando began speaking about why I was there etc. When I informed him I would be private pay, and that's what the attorney had advised to do he became extremely rude and belittling stating "oh I do this for a living you have no idea what you're talking about" "your attorney won't pay you will just wait" "you've clearly never been through this etc." he stated they couldn't give an estimate as "they were too busy" and I waited in line to make an appointment. He continued speaking rudely and when I said you don't have to be rude to me, he said "oh I'm not being rude just telling you like it is". I received a phone call from Jason the store manager about my complaint! He NOT only tried to belittle me, but he displayed even worse customer service than the people who report to him! This was the second service I had with Caliber Collision and they exceeded my expectations. Fernando was so accommodating and he squeezed me in the day after I called. He made me feel like he dropped everything to get my car checked on. And after being there twice today to drop off and pick up, I know how busy they can get, so that was very nice of them. I did not get the nice lady's name at the front, but she was very attentive to me and everyone that entered the building and needed assistance. Sent me text messages with updates with estimated completion date, and notified me my vehicle will be ready the next day. And estimated time for pick up. Save yourself a lot of extra effort and avoid Caliber Collision on City Lights Dr in Kyle, Texas. Not only were they difficult to deal with, they broke our ceramic-tined windshield, AND burned holes in our back seats. They over-charged us, they made many promises that weren't kept, but probably the most annoying thing is they didn't act the least bit sorry for the extra damage caused and actually tried to get out of paying for additional rental car dates...TO FIX THINGS THEY BROKE IN THE FIRST PLACE. I tried escalating to their manager with a detailed accounting of events, but he didn't seem interested in what I had to say. If I could rate less than one star, I would. We are out many hours of time and effort that were completely avoidable. Recommend going to AMM Collision instead. read more

The folks up at Caliber Collision were amazing! Extremely professional, fast and efficient. Fernando Trejo was my point of contact at the Kyle, TX location and he went above and beyond what I expected through the whole process. When I arrived to pick up my truck, it looked brand new again! Not only was everything repaired to perfection but they also washed and cleaned the outside of the truck, and the inside as well! Even Armor All'd the tires! I highly recommend Caliber. THE WORST LOCATION EVER! I have used caliber collision over 6 times in the past 7 years and they were always terrific... it's the only reason I chose to trust them again. Took car into the new Kyle location because it's a new location and it's close to where I live. These guys are absolute liars!! I had very minor front damage from a lady that backed into my car and incidentally blew a front headlight bulb out. They refused to fix it telling my insurance company that there was no way it "correlated" to the accident. It DID happen during the accident and it should have been included with my claim and fixed together all at once. The first guy who came out to look at my car tinkered around with my lights checking to see if wires were knocked loose, and right off the bat acted as though it was too difficult to reach that bulb and already disputing with me on how that could of happened and them not being sure they could find a bulb in time etc. The easy solution: Order one?? But, I guess they like to cut corners. My main issue is that the day I dropped off and the first guy was out tinkering around with my lights, he already had possession of my key, it was the end of the day and I dropped it off and went about my business. I am 99% positive they left something such as headlamps on over night, because the following morning they called to tell me that they completely killed the battery to the point to where It no longer holds a charge and the had to push it to the back area to work on it. They refused to take responsibility for this as well basically calling me a liar by telling me that my battery was already like that! Ridiculous! I have never once had an issue. It was a Honda battery that we had installed brand new about 3 years ago. Never once did my car show signs of me needing a new one anytime soon. The manager Jason sat and argued with me insulting me and my husband in front of our 9 year old son, not letting me get a word in edgewise, and just all around being intimidating and refusing to hear anything I had to say. He just gave us our car, half done, with unmatching lights and a dead battery! Incurring more charges that should have been covered and I now have to pay out of pocket for. Nice one! On the bright side...they buffed out my bumper and replaced grille in 2 days. I am furious and would never recommend caliber collision. They are dishonest and rude! Customer service is NOT their priority and they refuse to make it right. New location and they are already off to a bad start! What a shame that one bad apple spoiled the bunch for me and I'll never return and give them my business. read more

Everyone that I talked to was pleasant and professional, the one thing that bothered me was the man who estimated/ looked at my car with me. I was questioned about scratched on the back of my vehicle that were put there by the individual who hit me. I understood where he was coming from but what's annoying is being told by the guy of how he thinks that I scratched my brand new vehicle that had visually almost nothing on it before it was hit. Dont assume shit. Thats not your job. If I say I have a new vehicle and it had nothing on the back before it was hit and I show u the scratches and dents that WERE NOT THERE BEFORE.... don't tell me how u think I got them. I used Caliber for the second time recently. I took my car to them at my insurance company's recommendation to repair minor damage from a sideswipe. Caliber called me just a few hours after drop off to tell me my car was ready, no charge and I could cancel my insurance claim. They buffed out the problem and secured a loose clamp. When I arrived to pick up my car, they had washed it and cleaned and vacuumed the inside. No charge, no deductible, no time without my car. I will definitely use them if I ever need a body shop! read more

Caliber collision transferred my truck to Kyle to have work done and they have done the worst job I have ever seen. I have a black Chevrolet that they have repainted and there finish product it horrible. My truck looks worse after it came back from them. They have done a horrible job buffing and shining my truck. I have been back 4 times to let them correct it and now they are trying to make my insurance company pay for them to hire a detail company to come finish the job that they can't fix. I have had horrible customer service with the manager who blames the detail on me being particular. I just want my paint job that has cost $5000 to come out nice like it should. read more

Let me first say over the years I have had my fair share of Vehicles in and out of body shops. I can say with out a doubt that this was the best one I have ever been to. My truck recently went to Caliber Collision after someone ran in to it was parked in my Driveway doing over 7k of damage. From the check in to pick up the staff as very helpful and willing to answer any questions I had about the repair. The repairs where over seen by Fernando who kept me informed through the process. The total repair for the truck took a little over three weeks and they finished ahead of the scheduled time. With a repair taking this amount of time most company would stop giving you updates, but they stayed on top of the process and kept me informed every step of the way. I would highly recommend them and I will be back if I ever need any more work done (Lets hope not). read more

A work truck had a load of materials fall out the back and destroyed the paint on every panel on my BMW. The shop was brand new. The facility was very nice especially for a car repair shop. They handled everything with my insurance company and I never had to call in to find out what was going on with my car. The car looks brand new! It looks better than it did before the accident. I recently took my car in to get some paint work done and when I came to pick it up my front tire was low on air. I figured it was just because of the cold and I didn't bother to check it because I needed to get back to work, but I definitely should have checked.. I only drove my car back home and left it parked for two days, since I work from home I didn't need my car those 2 days. On Saturday I'm going out and stop to put air in my tire only to find there's a screw or a nail in it, obviously from Caliber Collision since the low tire pressure light was on when I picked it up a few days ago. So, I call them up and tell them the situation and the worked goes "Yeah man we don't have any nails on the property so it couldn't have been us" even though I dropped it off with no nails or screws in the tire and got it back with one in there they still claimed it couldn't have been them. They offered to "take a look" but I'm not going to go there and waste my time just for them to tell me they can't do anything about it.
