    My car broke down the street from here (and of course I was breaking in new 5 inch heels, and was dressed up, wearing a white top). My husband and I uber here to get a starter motor and change it ourselves, I don't mind working on cars. My dad has a tool shop and used to sponsor a racing car when I was a child, I grew up thinking I was gonna be part of the pit crew lol. They were very nice and looked up the motor before we went to the store, and let us know what tools we needed and suggested a great add on to the sell. Thanks for the great help!!!

    I have been working on cars for nearly 20 years…read more I called the store on Thursday 01/29/26 to order brakes for my car, as mine had exploded catastrophically -- leaving me stranded in Los Angeles and reliant on my girlfriend to stay alive, as I live in the OC and she stays here in LA. When I called the store to order my brakes, I was informed that I was unable to order a part over the phone and must come into the store (without a car apparently). I have never had an issue in the entirety of my time as a customer with O'Reilly Auto Parts, in placing an order over the phone, and going to the store to pickup and pay for my parts. The store manager, Alex, decided it would be fun to play games with me when I called him, and told him his policy (which I have never heard of until that day, and has never been "enforced") didn't matter to me, and I found it inappropriate and discriminatory. After much back-and-forth, where Alex attempted to gaslight me over the phone in an effort to pretend I didn't order the assembly for this vehicle for the other side of the car a week prior the same way -- which I have receipts for and are also available in O'Reilly's POS database. He also thought it would be **funny** to lie to me and tell me that my parts would take two days to order and show up at the store, because they had to "come from Arizona." No worries, I was given a total and told to report to the store to pick my parts up at 10:30AM on Saturday morning (2/1/25), which I did, and not surprisingly, Alex hadn't ordered my parts on 1/29/25 -- for "some" reason. No worries, I let the associate have a piece of my mind and re-ordered the brakes AGAIN from the store, however I was informed it would only take 5 hours for the parts to reach me this time (as in they were not being shipped from Arizona as Alex claimed). When I showed up at the store for a 2nd time, at the suggested time for parts delivery (4:30PM) my parts were still not there, so I confronted Alex verbally about it: He told me that the part I (thought) ordered on Saturday, would be on the same delivery truck as the part I had supppsedly ordered on Saturday -- when I called the O'Reilly on E Lincoln Ave in the OC, and ordered the part for a third time -- I was told by that store manager that parts were coming from Stockton -- not Arizona. Alex also told me that the caliper core was unacceptable, despited being presented a factory brake piston part stamped with the Audi badge, Germany, and Lukas in addition to having a piston -- when I took this core to AutoZone they accepted it without incident or comment. Alex it seems, was just trying to take from my pocket, he took zero time to examine the core. I believe he is incompetent and has never worked on cars in his life. This is hands down the worst and most unprofessional customer service I have ever experienced after being a customer for over a decade. Additionally, this has personally affected my life and relationships, as Alex has wasted time that was not mine to waste. I expect immediate remediation, and I warn anyone with sense not to do business with this O'Reilly.

I walked in with no appointment and they listened to…read moremy needs carefully and even though it was a little out if the ordinary they totally got it asked only a couple smart short clarifying questions just to make sure neither party was confused about anything and they told me what they could deliver that day to make sure it would meet my requirements and that the expectations were very clear and concise. And then the experience was made more wonderful by them offering without me asking for a complimentary once over to check over everything including the issue I was having and then provided me the separate quotes for the everything vs main issue without me having to specify because they are smart and anticipated ahead of time. Talk about excellent customer service! I then was able to ask for a final quote to include the main issue I was having plus some of the others that I wanted to get handled here soon and now I can financially prepare to have this handled and I'm confident the work itself and that that experience will also be excellent mostly because I was told it would be at least a two hour edit for the mechanics to check her out so I prepared to settle in. But after fiddling with the vending machine a bit till I realized it was just out of order I made myself a couple yummy complimentary pumpkin spice coffees with their keirug and filled myself up a big cup of fresh complimentary water from their fancy reverse osmosis fill station checked my email to deal with a couple work issues and before I could have ever expected they were ready for me to come look over the quotes and very plainly and knowledgeably explained in brief detail each issue item by item so that I could completely understand the current state if damage and the level of risk each could be the longer it went without addressing so that I could decide for myself the best course of action in prioritizing how and when to spend my money! No scare tactics no pressure no sense of bossing me about what I should do just gentle suggestion based on the facts and relaying the information in a friendly and honest way. Absolute pros. They made me feel very empowered as a female customer which has been rare in any car related business I've usually been through. You guys are absolute gems and I'll be back soon with money so you can do the rest of your magic with the fixing things part! Thanks keep up the great work! Oh also almost forgot! My car had a terrible dragging noise underneath that was scary sounding but also mostly so embarrassing sounding and I knew I couldn't afford to do anything about it this day so I didn't expect them to do anything about it except to include it in the quote for things to take care of once I saved up. But they brought the car back around and no scraping!! The clips had been broken that held whatever it is under their up so they zip tied them up for me to get by for now and didn't charge me a penny, was a really kind and delightful surprise that made me feel like they really listened and cared about my happiness engaging with them. Above and beyond, good customer service is so rare now that when I see it and feel it I'm almost moved and it touches my heart! Thank you for helping snd seeing a human being trying her best I can't wait to spend my hard earned money here soon.

When I came in at 4, he told me he couldn't help me cause they had too many people. Why did you say I didn't need an appointment then?? Why not tell me you might not get to my car at that time??? He was nasty about it too!

I went to a guy who was selling them for 1/2 of what Factory Express was selling them for. But after seeing them in person, did not have a good feeling about the seller or the headlights. So decided that I'll bite the bullet and buy from Factory Express since the guy over the phone sounded like he knew what he was talking about. Upon arrival, the person I spoke with turns out to be the owner Edwin. One look at his shop and I knew that this guy knows what he's doing. He asked if I was looking for just one or a set. I told him that I wanted a set because I wanted them to match since the other one is pretty dull. He said he can buff out the other one to match the replacement. After taking a look at the wiring, he said he can save the headlight. Edwin is honest and I would recommend him to anyone looking for parts. He's passionate about cars and knows his stuff. He'll try to save you money where he can. I definitely would recommend him!

My first time here and it was just terrible service and the value of the oil change is not worth it charging over 150$ for a quick oil change and you can't even service your customers timely. Unfortunately, they said they can't change it for me as it needs registration but I'm happy they were able to tell me the status and let me know that I should probably change it within the next 1-3 months. Staff is friendly, bilingual, and do what they can to help you. It's a high-traffic location with lots of people coming in and out on a Saturday at 11am. Store is on a street corner and there's ample parking spaces with entrances on both Sunset and Normandie.

Once I got to the front, I asked if I had the right one, they took my car information and confirmed. I can't believe bulbs are over $20 now but I don't need to buy them too often thankfully. Well, I stupidly thought I could install this myself but I was 100% incorrect. Even after youtube instructions, I gave up and returned on a Friday night where there was a taco truck outside so this place was still popping. Once I made it to the front, the nice guy said he would be willing to help me but he had to take the line first which is completely understandable. This only took about five minutes, and he was ready to help. Boy am I glad I returned here; this required the removal of the battery (like I'm going to know how to do that). He had all the right tools in his hoodie pocket, so he came prepared. I held my phone light to help the best I could, and once he asked me to start my car, it was a success! I wish I had the guys name, but I know I'll be back since I think they sell batteries for keyfobs, and mine just died... Sure enough, I returned to get the batteries replaced, and Giovanni assisted with this. Found out one of my keys is definitely not functioning properly, but the other is so I only needed one battery. There was no charge, but please tip them for helping if you need this done as well. Super helpful staff here, thank you so much!
