Been coming here since I moved back to la 2-3years ago. Have been helped by majority of the staff here and everyone is amazing! They are super informative and honest with what my car needs. They never say more than what i need unless they see that it will be an issue in the near future. If it is something that can wait they also tell me so. Beware of this Jiffy Lube! They are complete thieves and con artists. I went in because i needed a oil change they told me brakes were worn out and needed replacement. They said they would fix them, but instead only changed the coolant reservoir and did an oil change -- then charged me $750! The person who handled the payment was smirking the entire time, completely shameless. When I confronted him about the brake replacement, he denied ever saying they would fix them. read more

I came here after another jiffy lube location told me they didn't have any oil..the employee Ernesto was SO nice and knowledgeable. I felt at ease with his honesty and compassion and he didn't mind one bit I was using a Groupon. It was excellent service and I would go back for anything related to my vehicle. read more

The employees are unprofessional. Once my oil change was complete they didn't even go over the "analysis" they were supposed to conduct. The employee had me sign acknowledgement that we went over the information but we didn't! I hope that every customer that plans on coming here reads the NUMEROUS amount of ONE STAR reviews because I unfortunately had a similar experience as them:( I went in for a basic oil change and it took an HOUR which wasn't too big of a deal to me, I was able to patiently sit in the room on my phone. But what REALLY MAKES IT BAD is that they don't just TRY to UPSELL, they straight out LIE TO YOU:( It's unfortunate that there are people like this in the world:( The employee who worked on my car explained to me and my dad that the break pads are fully worn out, it's eating up the rotors and that we have "a month left." We were suspicious so we went to another place to get it checked and our breaks have 50-60% life left to them it is NOT completely worn through so either they LIED or are INCOMPETENT! The employees were trying to scare my father and I into paying them into break pad changes WE DID NOT NEED! In fact after the initial guy tried to scare us into getting the break pads done- a filipino man came to talk to my dad and I (we are both filipino) and he tried to be friendly to us and also tried to scare us into changing our break pads. After that convo my dad hesitated because he really talked us up. He gave us a WHOLE sob story about how he is a veteran and other employees are also veterans:( It's very very disheartening. I am truly writing this review not to complain and mindlessly yap, but hopefully if I can stop ONE PERSON from getting scammed this was worth the time and energy writing this up. Amazing Service - Kind, Honest, and So Affordable! About 2 months ago, I had an oil change at a different shop (10 Minute Oil & General Mechanic), but they didn't do it properly. Recently, my oil light came on, and I found out I needed more oil. I came to Jiffy Lube, and I'm so glad I did! The manager was incredibly kind, checked my engine for leaks, refilled my oil, and even put air in my tires generous the service and very kind . He even offered me coffee while I waited, which made me feel truly welcomed and cared for. After the stressful experience at the other shop, this place felt like a blessing. I really appreciate their honesty, kindness, and thoughtful service. I will definitely come back here for all my oil changes from now on -- and I'll be recommending all my friends to come here too! *BE CAREFUL* They try and scam here. They told me they were out of 5W30 generic oil and that they were going to hook me up with the semi synthetic oil for the price of the generic. The price they quoted me was $54.99 The generic oil as advertised in $40... there's a sign $20 off, that literally says $39.99. I said I wanted the basic $40 oil change. Some other customer was upset because he wanted the basic $40 oil change and at the register said it was $98.. he was rightfully pissed and said no in ordered the basic $40 oil change. They eventually gave him the $40 price and his new total was $41. I chimed in and mentioned that the rep mentioned that they were out of the general oil and the other rep said no we should have that in stock. Wow! No kidding. I'd advise to go somewhere else to a business that is transparent and has integrity. If you decide to go here make sure you CLEARLY state that you want the $40 oil change and nothing more. Came this morning for an oil change and was happily surprised by the level of care and professionalism the location provides. I have been living in Los Angeles for more than 20 years and this is probably the best experience I had with oil change. As I was driving, I saw their manager special and the price they offered was of a great value. No need for coupon at this location. They offer you the best available price. Second, I watched the employees working on my car and each of them were conscientious and engaged with their tasks. They did the job thoroughly, from the oil change, to cleaning the windows. The car inspection and recommendations was very detailed. I was impressed. Thank you to all the employees of this location. If not, save yourslef the troubles and go somewhere else. they can t even check you in within 30 minutes of arrival and tell you the wait time is 50 min, not includingthe service time. Don't trust these guys. Came in for an inspection for brakes and other work. They said they couldn't get it done in time so I left with the mindset to come back on the weekend. I don't know what the hell they did but it seems like they forced the pieces back in and did it improperly. This morning I woke up to a giant oil leak and my brake light suddenly turning on when it was just fine (should have held up till this weekend). Took it to a real mechanic and they just told Im lucky I didn't get in an accident and that these guys didn't even put the parts back in properly! Oil leaked all over everything and got in parts its not supposed to be. These guys were going to get me killed. NO THANKS. I will never trust Jiffy Lube again. read more

Scammers they mess things up in your car and then try to upsell you on repairs for thousands of dollars, even though local mechanics can fix the issues for much less! They put oil in my car and then claimed it wasn't safe to drive. How does that make any sense? I normally go to Jiffy Lube, but not to this one. I chose this one because it was closest to my work location. This one should remove the word Jiffy because I was there for about 90 minutes. And when I finally asked what the holdup was, they said they could not find an air filter for my car. I did not ask for one, so I wonder if they were trying to upsell me after the fact. And then before driving away I noticed that they did not give me a sticker for when to come back for my next oil change. So when I asked them to give me one, I got a sloppy afterthought of one. Don't come here they will messed up your car, they will try to upsell stuff that you don't need . I came in without a check engine light and left with a check engine light. Now I have black smoke coming out everytime I accelerate. Please keep in mind that when I was getting my car oil change , a black female came in screaming at them for the same thing about a check engine light coming out after she just got service at this location. 1.5 HOUR OIL CHANGE!!! I usually go to Valvoline and never had an issue there. However, this place was down the street from me so I decided to try it out. BIG REGRET. We waited for over an hour an a half and there was only one car in front of us. That's crazy to me being that a oil change should be done within "20 mins" so the rep said. To top it off, they lacked customer service! What was most frustrating is their lack of communication with us. They had us waiting so long and never returned to update us the their system was down. this will be my last time returning here! read more

I called ahead of time and was told there was a 45 minute wait, so I expected to be there awhile. But I didn't expect to be there two hours. I went there to get an oil change and get air in my tires and use a coupon. They only ended up doing 1/3. The coupon couldn't be used due to a "special" I was getting and even though I reminded them several times and they claimed to have put air in, they didn't. I visited Jiffy Lube to consolidate trips and save money; I failed to do either as I spent more than I would have elsewhere and saved absolutely no time doing it. 12/17 edit: I emailed the address that Jiffy Lube responded with five days ago and have gotten no response. I visited on a Saturday around 8am (they open at 7am). My car was being evaluated within fifteen minutes of arrival, super quick. The parking lot is big, it's easy to pull into whether making a left or right. The waiting area is spacious with lots of cushioned, individual chairs. The room has a tv and two gender-neutral restrooms; they offer coffee and water. Raul, a Mechanic, was responsive as soon as I drove onto the lot. He was knowledgeable about the services offered and the options within those services (e.g., oil types for changes). Raul also knew well how discount cards/coupons applied to various services. He was quick to setup my account as a first-time visitor. Allen, a Mechanic, was very helpful with explaining the issues found during the diagnostic. He distinguished the recommended repairs by need and described the repairs in plain terms/purposes. Definitely recommend. read more

I was looking for a place that would be able to help install new brake lights and I called this place and they answered right away. They told me it would just take 10minutes to replace the bulbs and there was no wait time! When I got there, Ernie and Dylan were able to assist me right away. They were very efficient and explained everything. I brought my 7yr old nephew with me who's fascinated with cars and they were very courteous and answered all his questions as well. Absolutely trying to scam people. Girlfriend came in for an oil change for her car. Then, employee comes back in and starts talking to me (what because I'm a guy) about the car despite my girlfriend owning the car and being the one who has asked everything leading up to that. Nonetheless, he said we needed several things changed/fixed. We told him only the oil change which he didn't seem to like. We go to another shop later on, and they mention NONE of the things we supposedly needed to get fixed. Place is overpriced for an oil change and they'll try and screw you over with that price if that's all they can get you on. Never come here. They lie. They're expensive. I got a flat tire right near the corner of Western and 3rd street, and I pulled over to park at a nearby metered space. I had a spare but unfortunately no working jack, so I called my auto club. As I prepared to wait the 30-40 minutes I'd been quoted for assistance to arrive, I noticed that I was right next to a Jiffy Lube. I approached the shop, and asked if they could help me. To my surprise, they offered to swap out my spare for FREE, right then and there on the spot! I cancelled the service request from the auto club as a friendly young man named Dylan removed my flat tire and loaded it into the trunk, replacing it with the donut I had. In about 5 minutes, I was back on the road and on my way to purchase a new tire. I hadn't been to this Jiffy Lube before, but I will absolutely be returning to them the next time I'm in need of an oil change or any other services that they provide. My experience was very weird and awkward I took my car for a simple oil change . The people who worked there checked my car and then proceeded to say that there wasn't no mechanics . I called over the phone acting like another customer and asked if they had any mechanics they answered and said yes . Management needs to do a better job . They show you the air/cabin filter, I refuse to buy so they put it back upside down When they put back the air filter they left a hose disconnected so it was giving me a check engine light. Also they left a tool inside the engine compartment. They didnt put back my glove compartment back correctly, I spent time in the stall putting it back myself.
