This is a brand new Auto Zone located on Florida Street. I was amazed to see how quickly this place was built. Apparently Florida Street is the auto parts corridor. Including this Auto Zone, there are four auto parts stores (Auto Zone, Advance Auto, OReilly's and Naps) in less than a mile. I needed some tire shine so I stopped in after washing my vehicle. The store is brand new so it is clean and well stocked. I had a question about a certain part and one of the employees looked it up and when they didn't have it, offered a suggestion on what to do. Auto Zone was my go to parts place before I moved to the Northshore. I am glad they have opened this location and I will continue to come here for all my automotive needs. read more

These workers are the BIGGEST bunch of liars along with being the laziest bunch of workers the Northshore has EVER seen!! The guy behind the counter didn't even care about my situation and then wanted to be rude! I was so upset at the actions by the 7 employees that I just left the store! NOBODY should be treated like a piece of crap! The store manager was even apart of the group of 7 lazy workers! They don't deserve the 1 star I gave them! They need to be fired because of their incompetence and laziness! I don't recommend this store to ANYONE! I chalked their regional customer service phone number but I've yet to receive a phone call back! I can't wait to talk to higher management!!!! ....I'll probably get the same treatment?! Wayne went above and beyond this morning in helping replace my car's dead battery. They could have sent me to a mechanic to do the job due to extensive corrosion, but instead he took the extra time necessary to clean the corrosion and replace the battery with a new one. This allowed me to get back to my job in special education in a timely manner. His help is much appreciated! read more

AutoZone recently opened at this location. It's about the same layout as other locations. Being a new store, everything was nice and shiny and new. Shelves were stocked and everything was pretty. The employees were very helpful and friendly. I was one of only six or seven people in there when I visited. I needed new windshield wipers and before I could make it to the aisle where they were, an employee had already asked what I needed and was leading me to the correct wipers. I looked around a little while I was there. Selection of items was equal to what you would find at other AutoZone locations. I find that prices at AutoZone tend to be the same and even sometimes cheaper than other discount auto parts stores. In my past experiences, I have had no problems obtaining warranty service on the parts I have bought with lifetime warranties. Even if you don't have the receipt from your purchase, they can look up the transaction with the information you provided when they registered your warranty. read more

So I go in and the guy gives me all the part numbers for the air filters and windshield wipers. I go grab them off the shelf pay my 153.00 with my debit card and leave. I get home and find out the filter for the Accord is the wrong one, it is for a 4 cylinder not a V6. I waste more time going back to the store to find out the new one is 3.27 cheaper. Do I get a credit back on my card or cash ? NO I get handed a "gift card" , I explain that I don't want something else to carry around and it wasn't my error in the first place. I am told the computer automatically does it. So I made him go get a scissors and cut up his 3.27 "gift card" right in the store and told him I intended to never buy anything from Autozone again. This will be very easy to do since I have to pass O'Reilly's and there is an Advanced Auto across the street or I can just order from Rock Auto like I should have done in this case. And they wonder why brick and mrtar stores are going out of business. read more

The service I received was well beyond what I had any reason to expect. I came in with a battery question and the young man who was wearing a Combat Infantrymen Badge pin on his collar said he would check it. He did so thoroughly and found everything secure. He was competent, friendly, and reassuring to this grandmother. I am grateful for his service and for this organization hiring our servicemen. I purchased a used 2010 Nissan Armada with a 17 month old Autozone battery with a 5 year battery. Today( 11/4/2016 ) the Arrmad has a dead battery. I jump it and bring it to the Auto Zone where I have spent literally thousands upon thousands of dollars restoring several old cars. The Autozone employee tells me that the battery is defective and needs replacing. But, since I dont have the phone number that the previous owner had purchased the battery under there would be no compensation for the battery which is 17 months old according to the production date on the battery. I spoke to the manager who also would not correct the wrong. The employee did try to help me get the vehicle started to no avail. I wound up walking across the street to Advance and changing the battery . It's simple: I did not want to buy a battery that only last 17 months nor will i do business with a corporation that does not stand behind their products and leaves consumers hanging. read more

Car electrical had been acting up, like the charging system of battery was failing. New battery from the Dealer 15 months ago so I was thinking it was an alternator problem. Darren checked the battery and charging system; battery was not holding a steady voltage and all charging functions passed. Bought a new battery and when I asked about getting the core charge back, Darren said it would not be an issue as he was going to install the battery. I think it may have been less than 15 - 20 minutes from entering the store to driving away with my problem solved for me. And, that's why I go to Autozone! read more

Save yourself the time and money (literally) and go somewhere else. Everytime I've ever been here it's always a long ordeal. Today I went to try to buy two cleaning items. It took me about 3 minutes to decide what I want and get to the register. I then spent another 20 minutes waiting in line. It wouldn't be such an issue if this wasn't a regular occurrence here. I finally got tired of waiting, and put my stuff back and left. I went down the street to O'Reilly Auto Parts. From the time I walked in to the time I left was under 5 minutes. They're always much faster. On top of that, both of the items I purchased (exact same two I would have purchased from Autozone) were both $2 cheaper there. The issue with Autozone is it's mostly older guys working there and they move as such. Trust me, save the time and money and go down the street instead.
