EDIT: Was called by the DM and told I could come in to get my issue resolved ASAP, they apologized for the inconvenience. They can never help you here with anything, even as much as CHECKING a battery. If you ask them when they'll be available, they look at you dumbfounded. Had to tell them my car wasn't going to be able to leave the lot due to a dead battery, after they sold me the new one and refused to change it or provide tools for me to do so. Once they found out my car wasn't going to be able to leave the lot they came out to give me a jump and still refused to change the newly purchased battery that was bought WITH THEM 10 MINUTES PRIOR. Guy upset and trying to still get a "winning point" in said they dont even sell the diehard battery I needed to have removed. As if the only way he could help me would be if I had proof of purchase of not just the one I did with him but also the dead battery. F tier service 99% of the time read more

If i could not give stars would be to this store someone need to teach better the assistant manager at store named luis Went there in need of a car part, luis told me they did not have the part in stock but another store had it i told him if he was sure he assured me that the other store had it. I asked if he could call first to make sure but kept confirming that the other store had the part. Gave me the ticket i was sent to the other store in 12000 sw 8th street store number 5793 which is pretty far from this one. Once i got to the other store the lady that attended me told me that they did not have the part needed and that this situation has happened before with other clients that the guy doesn't work well. You know how sometimes you go to Target for one thing and leave with 20? This is my equivalent of that. Enrique Andres and Victor were friendly and courteous from the moment I walked in and throughout my stroll through their aisles. The store was clean and the parking lot had no debris. I was greeted and assisted and believe it or not they're actually friendly and engaging. I've been to auto stores where the knowledge comes with an indifference and that to me is unacceptable. People don't come to an auto parts store to make friends, I get that, I don't ether. I always try to avoid coming here but every so often I need a specific item for my car and this is the quickest way to go about that. They carry all types of oil for different engines which come in handy when your car only is allowed to have a specific blend that's hard to find. Even windshield wipers are available which is great because of the torrential rain we often get which tend to deplete the rubber blades on many wipers rather quickly. I got inspired and bought plenty of car wash materials to bring my whip into a cleaned version of itself. The bulbs on my headlamps aren't covered by warranty and buying them here is the most economical route to replacing them quickly. By giving them the year, make, and model of your car is the best because their database will pull up the corresponding item number that fits your car instead of playing the guessing game. read more

Drove in to get a dying battery replaced. Enrique happily tested my old one, and installed a new one right tin the parking lot within 20 minutes. I went to this Autozone over the weekend to get a new battery for my car. I was with my husband who wanted to take care of the installation himself only he wanted to go home first and change before getting into it. The Sales associate was very nice and explained that they install the batteries at no extra charge. However, he connected it incorrectly and that sounded off the alarms and he fixed it and it seemed OK, at first. I did notice some quirks right away. The trunk would not open. The associate said that we could check the manual and see if it was a fuse but he quickly disappeared after and did not come back. I think he realized he had made a big mistake and avoided us,... that was just my impression, I cannot say that as a fact. We ended up leaving and the car did start OK and I eventually got the trunk to open. The next day I was out of the house for work and meetings and the car would not start even with a jump. I had to have my car towed and I contacted Autozone because I did not think this was just a coincidence. The manager said to let him know what the repair shop states about what caused the problem. Volkswagon repairs said that the problem was due to improper installation of the battery and the cost to fix is $480 dollars and I also paid $60 to tow the car coming to a total cost of $540 because the associate was careless when installing the battery. I hope that they cover the cost of this since it is their fault. My husband and I also had our other car totaled during hurricane Irma so it is all overwhelming. It has been a trying few weeks. If they help me out with this situation that they put me in, I will re-evaluate this review and update with a more positive note. read more
