No call, no warning, no explanation that made any sense. Just a shrug and "that's what it costs now." This kind of bait-and-switch pricing is beyond unprofessional. It's dishonest and shows a total lack of respect for customers' time and money. If this is how they handle basic communication and quotes, I'd hate to see what corners they cut on actual engine work. There are too many reputable machine shops out there to waste your time here. Go somewhere that values transparency and doesn't play games with your wallet.

Got approved with ZERO DOWN, and 3.65% APR with a bank. Now, I tell you this for this very reason. Walked in here, wanted to get something cheap that could get beat up on the Chicago streets and I wouldn't care about. Was told over the phone bring in bank statements, proof of where I live, and would be all set. Got there, they run my credit, and comes back 724, better then most anyone that goes in that $hit hole I'm sure. The "finance manager", some guy that looks like he sell drugs on the street, comes out and tells me they finance based on income, and could careless about my credit score. That was strike number one. He then goes on to tell me he needs better proof of income. I don't know how the hell you get better proof then BANK STATEMENTS. The statements showed June $18,000 plus in deposits, July 17,500 in deposits, and today.... the first day of the month, already $7,500 in deposits. HOWEVER, that wasn't good enough for these idiots. Sorry I'm not a drug dealer, hooker or pimp. I make my money the legal way, by working my a$$ off. I end up getting pi$$ed off and walked across the street to Ford. Now.... I'm the proud owner of a BRAND NEW 2014 FORD FOCUS SVT. What did I pay down you ask? ZERO!!! Whats my interest? 1.9% for 72 months. Who financed it? FORD.
