He recently started working at the end of 2025 to now 2026. He believes in Quality Product that he produces, no shortcuts! He used to have his own shop in Cedar Creek at Bastrop called "Jim's Motor Works Auto Machine Shop" he is open minded about anything that has got to do with repairing vehicles, he did an engine overhaul to a 1971 Mustang, and and others. Open minded, great team, excellent service, great people, and great asking for advice especially when a person knows what is doing! Danny is very blessed to have, Jim.

Told them I was waiting for bore diameter to order new performance pistons. "Danny" said "we can order them for you and save you some bucks". Great...but I was NOT consulted on pistons selected. Piston parts numbers showed $200 for set of Summit pistons that was marked up $100 on bill. Crank was to be polished but was told new crank would be cheaper. Bill still showed crank polish for $300. Was told it was for my benefit to avoid tax. I was not advised on crank selection. My short block turned into a long block. Was told to bring in my heads for installation. Purchased them already surfaced. Guess who got charged $300 per head to be surfaced on top of valve job for $250...not 1 call for authorization. I found this when I went in days before pick up. A $900 estimate ended up at $3000. Mission Auto Parts and Machine Shop should be last place anyone should go.

A very courteous and friendly employee by the name of Raymon took his time to come outside and help me figure out what the actual problem was with my window button on my vehicle, even went as far as pulling up my instrument panel disconnecting the connectors something that I was not aware of, blowing into the control panel possibly for loose debris or dust, then reconnecting it and toggling the buttons and sure enough my windows started working again, i just wanna say thank you so much to Raymon for his professionalism and expertise customer service. Thank you again, sir. One the reasons why I deal with O'Reilly's great customer service.

Where does one start?…read more The employees are too busy bragging how much they plan to drink after work to their fellow employees than engage with customers. The manager is conveniently never at the store. They will put you on hold forever hoping that you give up and go away. They do not go over a parts list with the customer to ensure all the items are present at the point of sale. The employees are apathetic, uninterested in customer service, and disinterested in their jobs. This store is trash and "managed" (I'm stretching that term to incredulity) by a absentee manager. The fact that O'Reilly's regional manager allows this store to continue with consistently poor reviews shows that O'Reilly's is a trash company with incompetent upper management. Save yourself money, time, and frustration and spend your cash at another parts supplier. This store is complete trash.

I could have just picked up a remanufactured from one of the big box auto parts stores, but years ago...I learned my lesson on a different vehicle with a starter motor. Remanufactured garbage... it didn't last. It overheated. Who knows what stuff they put inside of it. NEVER AGAIN. Took this Alternator off my 1972 Monte Carlo.... from the moment you walk into the shop... the first thing that you see is CLEAN. Look into the shop area... it's clean too. Cleanliness is something of a lost art in today's world. Dropped the alternator off for them to review. Owner Lonnie called me the next day with the options. Replace with a higher output alternator, internally regulated.... or rebuild the stock unit upping its capabilities and replacing the external voltage regulator. Wanting to keep the car as stock looking as possible, I opted for the rebuilding the stock and replaced regulator. Gave the go ahead A few days later... I received the call... it was all done ready to go. Met Lonnie at his shop, great conversation about the alternator.... and what else I needed to do to make the upgrade work best. (Heavier wire) Reinstalled the alternator, and I am just incredibly happy that all went well. I so highly recommend Big Moe for the quality you will get. Next rebuild will be the factory starter... when it fails.

Not only quick, but they went above and beyond by cleaning and spraying a protective coat on the shield. Looks brand new and I know it'll fit perfect. Haven't had this kind of customer service experience in a long time. Lonnie was amazing to work with. Highly recommend to anyone!
