I usually stick to restaurant reviews, but I'm making an exception here…read more I stopped in to the O'Reillys in the Springfield Plaza needing a new battery. Mine had died earlier in the morning and I was able to get a jump start to get to work. Knowing that the temperatures were going to be in the single digits overnight, it was important for me to get this fixed quick or risk being stuck again. Upon entering the store, I was warmly greeted by José who listened to my story and found the battery that was recommended for my vehicle. Before selling me anything, he wanted to verify that it was really the battery that was at fault and not the alternator or anything else. He had me pop the hood and hooked up his battery tester to confirm the fault was indeed with the battery. It was pretty cold out- in the 20's- but he was able to remove the old battery and install the new one in minutes. José was a great technician to deal with - professional, friendly, & competent. I definitely recommend this store for anyone needing a battery replaced and will use them for my minor automotive needs going forward.

It really is a car guys dream store. I could hang out in here all day looking for projects to get myself in trouble with. Tons of accessories and performance parts. I recently had service there to replace my busted radiator. They got me in quick. Communication needs more work on their side. After waiting awhile I had to go up and ask what they found wrong. They said I needed a new radiator. Total price of like $460. They charged for a couple hours of labor based on what computer said. I know from researching, it was only like an hour long job. I guess that's what you get for paying by the job, and not the actual time it took.

I had to get valve caps replaced since they didn't put anything back on and had me driving with none on. I called and explained the situation to the manager VICTOR LOPEZ who told me that the missing valve caps didn't matter and "wasn't a big deal " and even the lack of alignment ...he didn't have any sort of concern when I expressed having children in my car and missing valve caps would lead to slow air leaks, underinflated tires, and potential tire damage. This manager was condescending and rude and did not ONCE apologize to me nor offer to fix anything. He said the " work was done ". He did NOT care. They knew I lacked knowledge and that they could do any kind of work on my car and give it back to me and I wouldn't know. I'm stuck with this horrible tire job- DO NOT GO HERE !! These people are rude and will not admit to any mistakes nor fix it.

When I walked in, four employees stared at their various electronic devices like I was invisible for a solid two minutes. Also, I was price gouged. I came for four small pieces of otherwise worthless trim, and was charged $10. Please... Anyway, they were the only Junkya... excuse me, "used auto parts center" that had a Tundra in stock in what seemed like a 100 mile radius. I just bought one of my own, and thank god they had one here so I could strip it for trim to fit mine. The kid working the yard, hands and forearms stained in grease, took me out back to see the old Tundra. He helped me pick out the pieces I needed, and was real nice. I guess you can't expect white glove service at a place like this... It's fine... they sure do have a lot of cars here.

Returned for refund. Visit 2 (last week): prepaid for hood & both front fenders on Thu 9/29 ($200 - they threw in the cigarette lighter outlet & visor for no additional charge). Said they'd have parts next day & they'd call when ready. (I had someone lined up to install parts Sat 10/1.) When I still hadn't heard anything on 10/3, I called & gave the guy who answered an earful. He said my parts had been ready since Fri, but blamed manager on lack of calling me. I left a message for manager & threatened a negative review if the call wasn't returned. Manager called back promptly & was very apologetic (pointed out the items they'd thrown in). I explained I'd missed my intended install date & may have to wait until weekend to pick up - they were more than willing to hold parts until needed. Because the fenders pulled from yard were rusted, they ordered brand new ones (non-OEM) instead. Was happy in the end.

Thanks to Steve at New World Auto Shipping the car was picked up and delivered nearly 3000 miles in the condition John represented it was in, less than a week after making the deal. Amazing! So happy to have it. Great car just as John promised. Thank you John!
