This is the best Auto Zone I have been to. I live in Northridge and when I have a problem in which becomes overwhelming I know I can count on these guys to help me to get through it. Today Was a great example from the salesman to Elizabeth the assistant manager to Robert the manager they stepped up and went above and beyond to help me create and achieve a solution. My battery was not holding a charge. It was 2-3 years old so it was time to get a new one. At first, I went to O'Rileys off Laurel Canyon Blvd in North Hollywood but they were not confident in what part I needed, rude and their batteries were expensive. I went to the AutoZone at 8003 Vineland Ave, Sun Valley, CA 91352, and they were on it! Pulled up on the computer the correct battery for my vehicle in seconds. They even had a battery that was half AGM! Something I had been wanting. I was in and out within mins! Professional, courteous, fast service! I come here all the time because I think it has a nice variety of everything. I've been coming here for the longest time now and I've never had any issues with their products or employees. I came here a few hours ago to buy some stuff for my car but I didn't know exactly what I needed to get so I asked one of the employees to help me out and search it up on the computer ( the big guy with lots of tattoos) looked like he had a problem with it but did it anyway obviously. He gave me very little information on what I needed and his responses were so dry, saying he doesn't know or whatever. I was jUst like "okay?" I was stressed all day about getting that fixed but Erick S. and the manager Louis were so reassuring that it made the experience a positive one for me. I went in at about 10 a.m. on a Tuesday morning to purchase the brake pads for my car. I seen about 7 employees on duty at that time and it seem like all 7 of them were hanging out behind the counter behind I guess you would call a Shelf where they cannot be seen. Doing what? I don't know! The girl that did come out and help me didn't seem to understand a whole lot of what I was asking for.... I had to explain myself a few times that I wanted her to check my account to see what brake pads and what warranty I had on the last purchas... Not all girls but I for one am one of those girls that don't know a whole lot about cars. But I do educate myself enough to get what I need done and not look like an idiot in the process. The girl that helped me did not have a name tag on. I told her I was looking for the Duralast Gold brakes the same ones I purchase the previous time before but for a different car. She looked at my previous purchase and it came back with the Duralast Gold and a number she said she does not have those and turn the computer screen to me and showed me the Duralast Gold with a different number. I asked her what does the number mean she said I don't know I think it's a parts number! I explain to her well then if I'm purchasing it for a different car the parts number is probably not going to match. I want the Duralast Gold ones with the warranty, does it have a warranty? She said I don't know I will have to ask my manager as the screen was still pointed to me I point it out to her what does this say? Pointing to the part where it says lifetime warranty! SMH..... Just get me the Duralast Gold pads, please! She then made multiple mistakes while trying to check me out. I also noticed that she had at some point recently smashed her thumb where her nail was completely black-and-blue and lifting but not only that I noticed there was quite a bit of dry blood on her thumb. This is the person that is handing you your receipt and handling your money..... This is the closest AutoZone to my house... I get what I need but it seems like I am always dealing with someone playing with half the deck! read more

Went in to have autozone charge my battery on 7/15/15 at 2 pm and was informed to return in an hour. I was trying to get things done as soon as possible since I had to make my way to the dmv the same day. So when I return an hour later they couldn't find my battery, so they asked the store manager where it was, the store manager is the one that checked my battery in in the first place. She looked around and seemed confused and she went looking for it, it ended up being in the same place she placed it when I dropped it off. She claimed it couldn't be charged and that her machine starting beeping. It's obvious it was never set to charge. So I charged it elsewhere and it worked fine. read more

Walked in to inquire about a part. Only 1 register was open busy helping a customer. 5 other customers waiting to be helped in the parts department while 5 workers walked around back and forth looking to pass the time. None of the workers acknowledged the waiting customers. When it was finally our turn, the service rep was rude and short with us, telling us that they did not carry the part we needed. When needed obd reader they always provide and print the error codes for me. Not a 5 star as many times the lane gets huge and not all cashier positions are ocupied. Overall, happy with autozone read more

Horrible place! No help, speaking to me in Spanish, loud music playing, takes only cash, and on and on. This place needs to be shutdown. Since i dont speak Spanish, I was ignored at the cash register. The clerk called the next inline while i was there or maybe she thought i disappeared. Horrible service. Purchased a battery still under warranty. Took it into store for replacement. I was told they needed to charge it to see if it's good or bad. I returned in an hour, as instructed. They never put it on charger so I had to wait an additional 20 minutes. I was told the battery was good. I put it back in my vehicle only to get stuck while shopping. I took my vehicle to my mechanic to be told the battery is bad and my vehicle checked out perfectly. I was inconvenienced and frustrated for 2 days. I WILL NEVER TRUST AUTO ZONE AGAIN. read more

Okay if i could give this a lower star i would this place sucks!!!!! I went in with my boyfriend to get a g35 headlight around 8pm no one was in the store we asked this girl who was there for the part . 1) she was eating food while she was helping us and looked more interested in that 2) she doesn't know what she is doing what so ever 3) she gave us the wrong part this part wasn't even for a g35 and she looked it up. Like how hard is it to follow what the computer says. Maybe if she would put down her food she would of given us the right part. Not only that but her customer service sucks she is rude and loud. Like no one else was there why do you have to be loud. You can tell she clearly hates helping people out. When we went back she was there but this time made sure we went to another person this girl hd glasses and knew what she was doing. When we checked out with the rude girl she acted surprise. I like how they had what I needed, but they never seem to have enough employees in the store. They have some who are always in the back of the register in the afternoon. But I always hear laughing. Sometimes I see some managers go back there to either hide or avoid helping us out us the customer. What is going back there. They need more reliable staff. Also more mature staff members. Better training, more employees that know what they are doing. Not a happy customer. read more

I won't give this place any more of my business. They have no customer service and no sense of urgency. I don't ask for much when I do go, usually I know what I need pay and get out. I always seem to be there waiting just to pay for what seems wayyyy to long when I do need help no one seems to be there. It sucks I had to put the items back and just walk out to another auto parts store. By the way there were only 3 customers (myself included) in the store when I walked out. read more

I don't usually spend the time writing reviews but people should know about this particular autozone store. The store it self is a pretty good size and they have almost everything, but the main problem is the management and people working there. First of all no matter when you step in there there is couple of long lines. The reason for this is that almost everyone there is lazy, works very slow and would stop taking care of customers and answer calls on the phone for minutes. On top of that, almost no one knows their job, they cant even use the computer correctly. Many times I had to tell the guy behind the counter to show me the monitor and point out to them their mistakes. Management is either non-existing or are not doing their job since the whole place is a mess. I have seen people get tired of waiting in lines and leaving the store pissed off. I would never go back to this store and would rather drive another 5 miles to another autozone. read more
