Wow what a nice employee! We pulled up right at 10 when they were closing and the guy who was locking the door waved to us and asked if we wanted to buy something. He was so welcoming and kind, which is particularly awesome since I'm sure he was working all day and probably tired. There is plenty of parking in their lot and they have a great variety of auto parts. My daughter just got a new used car. We noticed that the windshield wipers were in terrible shape; they were basically shredded. So we went to AutoZone to get new ones. Tyrus not only found the right wiper blades for us, but he installed them and suggested we check the wiper fluid. I'm so glad he did because it was bone dry. I didn't like it specially that one guy. The staff during weekdays however are really great and also very friendly. The service is not good, not, great, not excellent... it is SUPERB! I went to get new headlights for my mom's car. When I found them, the gentlemen behind the counter, Chad, said if the high beams were also out he recommended a buy a pack of each high and low beam lights. He then gave me a 10% discount for them. He then went a step further and installed them for me! AND THEN he cleaned off the acid that was spilling out from the battery! He went above and beyond. It was also about 85° outside. When I got there he took the car key and figured out how to change the battery (it was definitely a more complicated process than I thought with this specific key). I just called to ask if a particular item was in-stock on the shelf, and to get a price. The employee who answered the phone let me know that the item was in stock, but when I asked for a price he told me to hold on while he checked. I waited on the phone for a good 7 minutes before the call I guess automatically ended or something due to being inactive for so long. I called back and told the same employee that I had been waiting on the phone for a price when the call ended. The guy went to check again, and then told me, "We have a website but the price is $____" before I thanked him and he simply hung up the phone. My issue is: 1) The employee had no qualms or regard whatsoever for leaving me waiting on the phone, and then the call completely disconnecting, leaving my question unanswered. He also did not care to apologize or say anything like, "Oh shoot I'm sorry I don't know what happened, let me get your questioned answered." A pretty reasonable expectation from a customer service standpoint. 2) He clearly was somewhat annoyed at having to waste his time to go check a price for me, when I could have "checked the website". 3) He did not acknowledge or simply say "You're welcome," or "My pleasure," or anything like that after my "Thank you," for his service. He simply hung up the phone. I hate to say it but this kind of "annoyed at the customer bothering me or wasting my time" is absolutely killing the customer service aspect of brick-and-mortar businesses. Employees are supposed to be HELPFUL for crying out loud, and instead they find you annoying as a customer and seem to have completely forgotten the point of their jobs; it's not just to secure an item for purchase but to MAKE THE EXPERIENCE PLEASANT, HASSLE-FREE and CONVENIENT. Wow, this was the worst customer service experience I have ever experienced in Burbank. The woman who was supposed to be helping me acted like she couldn't understand what I was saying, she didn't know if they carried the product, asked her coworker, he said it would be at the end of that aisle and pointed. The woman found something else to do. Then I could hear her yelling for me from across the store, where she pointed to some products that were not was I was looking for, I corrected her, then she walked away to help the customer her coworker was helping, actually begging that customer for positive google reviews. Commercial account holder here Bought a battery from Glendale Brought the cord to Burbank for a return Walk into the store new employee does not tell us where to put the battery Store manager shows up comes to do the return and says do not show in our system. Go to your main store. I called the main store where we spend roughly $200,000 a year with our commercial account I am told that it does show their system And that the store manager should be able to do a simple return for the core fee. Instead, what do I get? I get a manager that decides to call the main store and explain to them how he does not know how to do a return when someone has a receipt in their hand because it doesn't show in his system magically And I get treated like a child being told that it's only $22 and that it's not something that I should've wasted almost half hour of my time on Please keep in mind he also told me as I walked in that I should return the core only to the same place. I bought it from as this fee comes directly out of this store budget. For someone that's been a commercial account since 2017 I have never encountered a situation like this with AutoZone Maybe they should look into who they hire as a manager read more

We went in to Auto Zone to make an exchange and the Manager Mayeli was finishing up with another customer. As soon as that customer walked away, she was speaking very rudely about them in front of us. We then presented our exchange and she accused us of bringing back a used item. While it is true that the package was opened, it was not used, it was the wrong size wrench. We were there to exchange it for the correct one. She was extremely rude about it. The other clerk took care of the transaction, but needless to say, we will no longer be shopping there. read more
