This is the store to buy something that is easy install by yourself. Such as wind shield wiper, car light bulb, battery, seat cover, bug cover. I will not say for the same such as break pad, electrical system, and engine part. I am here for the light bulb and battery before. The car head light bulb is easy to change out unless it has a defect on the assembly. Changing the car light bulb can be found in the owner menu. I also have been here for the car battery replacement. They also offer the installation of the battery with part purchase from them. It is very convenience for me just to use their service with proper installation. Car repair can be easy confused if you try to repair yourself. I would not recommend you to buy part from them and install yourself or install by other. Once the part cannot fit and is open box, it will create problem for return it. If you buy and let someone install, most car shop will not allow it because of the warranty issue by the repair shop. I have no bad experience with them. The service is a bit slow. read more

Came to this store because our battery had died and we needed a replacement. We were helped in a quick manner. There was an issue with installation and the assistant manager Lisa C. did EVERYTHING in her power to make things right with us. She went out of her way to provide great service to us. We are currently trying to drive back to our home state which we had to evacuate due to hurricane Florence. Quick and painless. I came here to purchase some new wiper blades since mine pretty much didn't work anymore and just spread water around on my windshield. The guy working picked some decent ones and even helped me install them (yeah... I had no idea how to do it myself. Don't judge me). Only once I consulted someone else did I realize that my impulse buy cost me a lot more than the same blades would cost online or at Walmart. Whoops. The only positive thing about this place is the manager Brian...he has always been a good guy and very helpful. Most of the other employees I deal with seem rude. Looks like auto zone has a Bruce B Downes monopoly... I am going to drive the extra 5 miles and hit advance auto parts in Wesley Chapel. I will only come back here for the parts that are under warranty. I have been here many times and this is not the first time I left here frustrated due to rude treatment. Sent my son here to get some bolts and the customer service rep said they do not have what we needed... My son even brought the part to be installed. Something is wrong when you have customers waiting in line to buy items they have selected on their own and they must wait for all the customers who are wanting parts, have batteries tested, etc. Those customers need the extra time. Your quick sale customers just walk out bc of that. Either designate someone to run the register when needed, or hire another employee. read more

I recently went to my local autozone yesterday (trout creek location in Wesley Chapel Florida) and my visit was mediocre not the best service the phones were answered before the customers standing in line at the front register were taken care of, the girl complaining because there were too many numbers for her to be able to look up a part. Just mediocre at best then I called today because I felt from past experience that it would get me the best customer service and Tatiana got on the phone and was not extremely professional or helpful didn't really know what I was talking about or seemed to really care otherwise so I just went in to get what I needed and then Ron saved the day he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and made a great impression and it turned out to be a great experience dealing with him autozone needs to give this guy a pay raise great employee and very helpful. I can't say enough good things about this guy. I would have originally rated my experience so far as a 2 or 3 stars but now it's 5 because of him! I won't walk into that store again unless I know he is working! I will call ahead and make sure and when in store I will deal with him directly! I went to buy a new battery for my car and found out they don't or can't install the battery because it needs to be register to the computer and they don't have the tool. When I tried to start the car it's completely dead and I ask them if they have a booster. The man told me the booster doesn't work so I ask if they can jump it. They just gave me the cable and didn't even bother to jump my car. Had to ask around the parking lot for help. What kind of an AUTO PARTS store do not have a working booster and not even offer to help! So mad. read more

Walked in the store to get new headlights for my 2013 Chevy Impala. Waited at register for about 10 to 15 minutes. I had to call the store while I was in The store to have ask if anyone could come to the register to help me. Finally I get someone to help me make the purchase. Before I purchased the lights I asked if they could install them. We go outside to my car and he tells me that the whole front end had to be taken off to replace the lights, which was not true. Called this location for a price check for a battery for a 2014 Dodge Dart and was given a price of 186 plus 14 dollars tax. That price is obscene. I would not allow AAA battery installers do it because I though they were high and they would come to the house and do it for 146. Dollars with a 6 year warranty. Going to have to rethink this. It seems auto zone is a rip off. They say they don't charge for installation which is hidden in their cost. read more
