Omg!!! This is a hidden Hardin County - Radcliff gem. My boyfriend and I both ordered combination plates. One Cashew Chicken (hard to find at most places) and Chicken Lo Mein. The food was perfect! Not greasy, not salty and not over cooked. We also got an order of Crab Rangoon. Very yummy and filling. This is my new go to for Chinese. I can't wait to try everything on the menu. Oh, and they give you huge portions for the price. We made 3 meals off of both dinners. The Crab Rangoon even reheated well! Will be back soon. read more

We dined in, everything was served fresh & hot as soon as it was cooked. Our water was constantly refilled and we were checked on frequently. The restaurant & bathrooms were clean & had received a 100 from the health department within the past 3 months. Prices were very reasonable & portions large enough that takeout boxes were used. read more

Every single dish here is terrible. Went with some other people and every single dish tasted the same. You can tell that almost every single ingredient was canned. Ordered takeout which was tasty with good portions and great, affordable prices. Had the shrimp lo mein, Kung pao chicken, beef egg roll and the shrimp spring roll. The food was not greasy except for the Shrimp spring roll. The shrimp lo mein didn't have a lot of shrimp or veggies and was mostly noodles. Kung pao chicken had a lot of chicken but not a huge variety of veggies aside from the green onions and red chili peppers. I love Egg Roll House! I won't eat Chinese anywhere else. Why? I like it because the meat is REAL! It's not that weird fake chicken-sliver crap swimming in mystery slime. The chicken is real chicken breast or thigh and you can tell someone really chopped it up and cooked it. The sauce is made with real soy sauce and seasonings, not prepackaged goop! If you get sweet and sour pork, cut the meat open and you'll find real pork chop meat inside. I appreciate that-when I can identify the meat I'm consuming and it matches what I ordered; not just some rubbery substance that passes for an entree. If you want it spicier just ask and they'll make it to your liking. What do I recommend? They have the best hot & sour soup, delicious mushroom chicken with jalapeños, great bourbon chicken off the grill, and my favorite is the Kung Pao! Egg Roll House is awesome! The prices are pretty low for the amount of food that you get...comparable to what I paid while living in a college town, which is nice. My only complaint is that the spicy dishes I've had so far weren't spiced up enough for my liking. Please keep in mind that I put some type of hot sauce on nearly everything and that my idea of spicy probably shouldn't be considered "normal." The amount of spice is probably fine for average people. ;) Don't be scared by the fact that there aren't ever a lot of cars in the parking lot...I don't know how that works out but there WERE other people inside. Needed dinner for the crew while on vacation. Not many places make egg foo young and I'm so glad that we went here on my Moms suggestion. We had a variety of meals and we were totally satisfied. We fed 5 people for less than $40. We were all full and the food was really good. We will definitely eat here again. The gravy for the egg foo young was great, some of the best ever. read more

I had the Mongolian beef and it was really good! They use real beef unlike the competitor near by. It was marinated well in the soy sauce base seasoning. The price was decent and gave good portions. This had to be the worst Chinese restaurant I have ever ate. The general tsos chicken was dry, flavorless and made with what I could only hope was dark meat chicken. I hope. The fried rice was flavorless. My wife got bourbon chicken, which was peices of grilled chicken thighs in bourbon flavored soup like substance, literally. The rice that came with it was plain rice with egg. Weird. She ordered a shrimp egg roll that was slimy and flavorless. I gave her my egg roll that came with my meal and it had beef? Kangaroo? In it.She took a bite, spit it out and wiped her tongue off with the napkin. It was that nasty. We also ordered sweet and sour chicken which was mostly the breading and crab rangoon which tasted like dough and bad cream cheese; no crab. Ordered the Shrimp Mei Fun, and shrimp fried rice. The Mei Fun is very good. Probably the best on the area, without driving to Louisville.

I'll start with the positive. They deliver on time. Besides that, the food was horrible. 2 of the 4 dishes weren't even what we ordered. Incredibly greasy Lo Mein. Very bland and dry Fried Rice. We ordered Hot and Sour soup but received Wonton Soup. It was warm water with bland wontons. The eggroll house has the worst service I've experienced in a long while. My husband and I waited for about 20 minutes before our order was taken. We then decided that we would rather get take out seeings as the service was obviously lacking, we ordered our food and the waitress couldn't even get our order correctly. After taking our order we waited a full 45 min before deciding we would eat elsewhere, we informed the waitress that the service and the wait time were unacceptable and left. read more

This is a family owned restaurant that has been around since I was a kid myself. It is usually busier than it looks, because they are the only chinese place in town that actually delivers. I believe it is a minimum $15 purchase, but that isn't really too bad. They have a good variety on the menu, and offer a buffet during lunch hours. They close from 230-430 or 5 each day, between meal rushes, Monday - Friday. The food is really flavorful and fresh, but heavier than Korean type cuisines. I think they have the best lo mein in town, personally. A must try! read more

We LOVE Egg Roll House! We have been fans for over 12 years now. We used to live in Radcliff and got it delivered, then we moved to E-town and make the half hour drive twice a month for our favorite chinese food to go. Hubby always orders the bourbon chicken (with no veggies) and steak on a stick. I always order off menu (something only regulars know about) and get the UNBREADED all white meat General Tso's chicken. We upgrade our plain fried rice to chicken fried rice. We have never been disappointed and our orders have NEVER been wrong. No other chinese restaurant in this area has such good food! Well, we went it during lunch buffet and we're really disappointed with both the quality and quality of food. Most everything was dry or over cooked. I love dumplings so as there were only 3 dried out lumps there I asked for some fresh to be prepared. This was at 115 pm at 145 a surly old lady burst from the kitchen and slammed a few dumpling into the pan and glared at my wife... They were burnt and greasy. We paid and left.
