10/10!!!!! I have been waiting to try these Korean corndogs and they did not disappoint! The staff are still trying to learn English so be nice! But they were very sweet. The cheese pull on them was insanee I will definitely be back!!

This is an authentic Korean-style street food restaurant run by Koreans. I tried the original Korean sausage, and it was soft and flavorful. Tteokbokki is usually spicy, but this one was a bit sweet. The kimbap was above average. You should try it if you feel hungry while shopping in the mall. Strongly Recommended. -Addition- (8/4/2024) The restaurant added a new menu item, which prompted me to edit my review. The mixed grain powder bingsu was my favorite bingsu and I was surprised to find it here in Louisville Kentucky. I can highly recommend the other bingsus as well.

Tried this spot for lunch with my sister a few weeks back. We ordered the Korean corndog, half cheese and half dog, kimbap, and the bulgogi bowl. Everything was tasty! Prob not as good as what'd you get from a sit-down spot but it's not bad! The bulgogi bowl tasted healthy. And nothing was greasy or oily. The staff was super friendly. Smiley and patient with us as we took some time to decide what we wanted.

Wow, thoroughly impressed with the rose tteokbokki and potato mozzarella corn dog! Dipping the corn dog into the rose sauce is a must! The customer service was excellent and the food came out hot! Such a nice gem for a food court.

Lunch today at Kup Bop in Mall St Matthews was yummy! We all ordered something different so we could share and try as many options as possible. The restaurant is located in the mall food court which is bright, modern and airy. The gentleman at the counter offered serving suggestions which were spot on. The food was delicious and fresh. Was curious about the sugar on the deep fried the Korean hotdog. We got the half cheese/ half hotdog. Both halves were good but the cheese was fantastic! The hotdog Korean style is coated in sugar and topped with a spicy mayo - sounds like an odd combination but it really works!

Kupbop is a perfect fit for the mall where people tend to gather and spend time together. They have solid food options, and a lot of great dessert choices. This time I got the spicy pork bowl and strawberry bingsoo. The food was good. As a Korean, I have high standards for Korean food, but the spicy pork bowl was pretty good. With the option of customizing your bowl, most people will be able to get something that they are satisfied with. The bingsoo was very good, honestly much better than I expected. The portion was big enough to share with a group of 4 and it tasted great. The environment is nothing special--it's at the mall. But Kupbop fits the mall atmosphere and the workers are all very friendly. Kupbop isn't the place that I would go to if I'm craving Korean food, but it is a great option for when I'm wanting to find a place to hang out with friends and enjoy some solid food and great dessert!

Yum!! This place is amazing. It has totally changed what a mall food court can look like. The sweetest family runs it and the food is fresh. We tried several things and they were all amazing. We will be back!

Delectable choice of Korean street foods. Friendly service. A bit pricy but will come back again.

Chicken BBQ Rice bowl and Potato corn dog

I have never had Korean BBQ before and this experience definitely made me want to go back! The food was delicious and the workers made my day. The facility looked clean and placing my order was a breeze. Would for sure try again!

This Korean dining experience is one of a kind. Located in the St. Matthew's Mall food court, Kup Bop has a great variety of quick, delicious Korean food that will leave you wanting more. We had the Kimbap, spicy pork bowl, Tteok-bokki, mandoo, and chicken bbq bowl, as well as a mozzarella hotdog. Service was quick and employees were friendly. Everything was perfect and delicious. I would definitely recommend, and will be coming back when in Louisville.

Food could use a little more salt. The cucumber, carrots, mushrooms and spinach tasted a little bland. But the Bulgogi meat had some good flavor.

The best K-food in town! So yummy! The food is hot and fresh! Forgot to take the pictures of their rice bowls, but got a snap shot of that cheese pull! The owners are super sweet!

This food is amazing! Incredibly nice staff and gave me a little extra just for "being nice". A must stop place to eat at the mall.

The results were mixed. We did the grill table and had appetizers. The apps were AMAZING! The pot stickers, the salad, the spicy edamame, all yum. The meat for the grill was basted in a wonderful marinade and you had a choice of having the kitchen grill it or doing so at your table. We chose to do it ourselves. The waitress brought us scissors with the meat...! The cuts were really too thick and/or wide and I was wondering why the kitchen would send them out so we would still have to cut raw meat with scissors at the table? Also, the only veggies that came with the meal were chunks of green peppers and a few rings of onions. We had asked about more but those were it. The dessert was shaved something in coconut milk. Not very memorable. They did hold the dairy for our lactose free person so maybe that would have made a difference? Because the apps were so good I'll go back and try their other items, but probably not the grill table.

Milkwood was our anniversary go-to; tonight Nami picked up that role. Our server Jay was incredibly friendly and helpful. He explained everything on the menu, giving us recommendations and guidance, and then left us for a bit to think it through. By the time he came back to check in, we were ready to order our whole meal. We started with a complimentary champagne toast for our anniversary...always a lovely touch. Then we had our two cocktails, the wasabi margarita and the lychee martini. Both were so delicious we couldn't choose, and ended up sharing them both entirely. Next came crispy chicken dumplings (that we ate before I could even get a photo) and the amazing ponyu, a thick scallion and vegetable pancake (got a photo of the last slice. We couldn't stop eating it!). For our mains (most of which came home with us, tbh), we ordered the crispy skin snapper with delicious fried rice and the Kalbi beef short ribs from the bbq menu. The bbq comes with 2 sauces and 3 housemade banshan side dishes. Everything was flavorful and perfectly cooked. There's nothing on the menu that I don't want to try. We love sharing so that we can taste it all! This will definitely be our anniversary spot...but I don't think I'll wait a year to return.

Usually when they bring the check they leave and come back not stand over you mad dogging you as you struggle to count. I kept hearing "you pay, you pay now and you leave!" I felt like winging 50 cents at her for a cup of rice. We had appetizers that did not require utensils or chop sticks. We finished them and she tried to take the chop sticks saying "oh you no use chop sticks" and it was like she didn't want to give them back. Most of the patrons were not white or speaking English which is always signifies to me AND as a therapist I don't want to overhear your conversations. The food arrived quickly and was exactly as described. Everyone in our group enjoyed themselves. I am looking forward to eating there again (if I see another birthday)

Even after asking for a manager to quickly resolve the situation- we were refused. Very poor customer service. We stopped here at 730 on a Thursday-we were seated within a few minutes. The host places a paper liner on the grill and oiled it - said we had to keep it on and she would change as needed- it started burning prior To getting food, we asked to change prior to eating and she never did. Our first set of food took 15 minutes, as other tables around got their food after being seated after us. Only 1/2 the order was received- we got shaved chicken, small shaved steak, pineapple, zucchini.- mind you we were a party of 3. Paper still burning and peeled off on food. Fried rice had a weird sweet corn flavor which did not pair well with the food. Over 20 more minutes host had yet to get another order as she helped tables all around us- we were out of drinks and missing food items. The staff was attentive and so generous with portions. They were urging us to try new things and checked on how we were doing often. We had a small party of two but the restaurant space is ready to handle large parties as well. They have two separate sections of BBQ / hotpot tables, a bar area, kimchi bar, and sauces bar, not to mention ice cream and dessert treats if you can possibly eat more after your meal. This restaurant is as much about the experience as it is about the meal itself. Now that I know the layout I'll bring a larger party next time, it was good fun and a great value for the money.

My soup was a bit of a challenge to me due to the abundant mix of pork "stuff": liver, blood sausage...etc. we both liked the delicious SS Pork.
