I sat down for a consult and went thru what color, if my greys were stubborn etc. The stylist mentioned my roots were longer then the typical 1-2 inches they do for a root touch up, but that was all that was said and then she said "let's get started!". At checkout, I included a 20% tip but my total was not adding up correctly so I mentioned it to the lady at the desk and she said "they took the $20 off". Was in a rush, so left. When I got home I noticed that they charged me $15 extra color surcharge. Why wouldn't they have mentioned that during the consult? The other deal they had was for all over color for $92 - I would have just asked for that. I called the following day and they basically told me "sorry. They should have told you before but there's nothing we can do. This will get sent to management for feedback but we're sorry." Services + costs should be mentioned prior to the service. This is poor customer service. Also, my forehead has dye stains that were never removed by the washer.. As a result of this review and reaching out to the email below, they refunded the $15 so I increased the stars as I appreciate a quick response.

Yelp is for ALL reviews & comments whether good or bad!! She then asked if it was necessary and said I could've picked up the phone to call her! AND why couldnt they, as a business, CALL ME?? To top that off, she wished me good luck with my hair & "highly suggest you use other products than pantene to care for it." At this point, anything I use is better than the service & level of customer service from this person. I wonder if the Owner realizes or sees what this lady writes!! I was a little skeptical because I had someone else a few months ago at the Paul Mitchell school try to do it on me and the result looked like 3 month old barely visible highlights. Kate at Cal Martini did a FANTASTIC job on my ombre highlights. The photo of the end result is in the yelp photo section. I love it. I love it so much that before I left, I bought my next ombre highlight (they had a discount if I bought it within a week of getting it). I'll agree that the place is small and maybe not like super fancy... but they had cheese, crackers, chocolate, wine and best of all... ENTHUSIASM. These women LOVE what they do.
