I've given this place a few tries and it's just never up to par. Yes, it's a cute place and they are always friendly, but the quality of work isn't great. The last couple of times I was there I spent over $100 (per visit) for a shellac mani, pedi w regular polish & tip. With prices like that I expect for my shellac to last at least two weeks- minimum. The last time I was there, 2 Of my nails had chipped within a couple of days and now most of my nails have lifted at the edges and it's been less than a 1.5 weeks. I'm really annoyed bc I have very long hair and now my nails are constantly catching on my hair. While I was getting my nails done I asked the technician to NOT polish too closely to the edges of my nail bed and by the end of it all- she had polished my cuticles. When I brought it to her attention, she took one of those electric drill thingys (which I'm really against) to "clean" the edges and now my nails are STILL lifting AND it's caused little indentions in my nails where she "cleaned" the polish. I'll stick to my usual place in the Houston Heights... my shellac have lasted 4+ weeks when I get them done elsewhere. read more

If you can, please AVOID this nail studio. To the manager/owner, I see how you've been petty with all your responses to people's comments/feedbacks. Please avoid me. I don't need a response from you. Just go learn customer service and treat people nicely. They pay with their hard earned money and they should be treated better. Never again will I or anyone I know visit your store again. I called ahead to see if I had to make an appointment and the lady said no, we are pretty empty and you can come now. I told her it would take me about 10-15 min. She said it was fine go ahead and go in. I get there and the lady up front asks if I had an appointment. I said no, but I did just call and a lady told me to come in now. She then tells me they are over booked and if I could come back in an hour. I couldn't because I had to pick up my son and had no other time or day to come back. I am pregnant and wearing a mask is very exhausting. Driving 15 minutes to get here for them to turn me away was awful. My mom and I visited this place today for the 1st time. While the front desk staff who checked us in was pleasant, the manager was rude. I informed them that it was my birthday and that I was on a time crunch, could they accommodate us. The front desk staff stated yes. We picked our colors and were seated. My technician started on my pedicure, but my mother had to wait over 10 minutes (while another technician started on a walk-in). With the rude reception from the manager, and the wait my mother experienced, I won't return. There are far too many nail salons within a 1 mile radius to be subjected to poor service. read more

I went to this nail salon for my first time the other day and ended up having to go back and get my nails fixed. Somehow the shellac cracked underneath. (I got the chrome on top of shellac) They were very happy to help me and fix the problem. I assumed they were just going to add more chrome, but they offered to completely redo the shellac paint and chrome! This is my new salon for sure. What a great Mother's Day treat this was! First time trying here as it is right by the house. Teresa did my chamomile spa pedi and took her time and was gentle on my feet. Hot pad for your neck, massage chairs, extras for your nail service and drink choices. They even have a private room for a couples pedicure or massage...great for a date night!! This shop is clean beautiful decor and very nice owner. Although their prices are more expensive than some shops in the area I was not pleased with the outcome of my nails. All of my nail tips started to come completely off like press on nails. I went back and the nail tech that did my nails first time repaired the first three nails that came off. However mentioned that the powder was no good. The powder was clumping up as she applied it. I went in to the hospital and was so embarrassed bc my nails continued to pop off. When I got out the hospital I spoke to management and showed them ALL the nails that had popped off like press on nails she said she was sorry I was in the hospital but would not be able to fix. I was very disappointed bc I truly appreciated the owner and nail shop and had visited her other location for my daughter's 15th birthday and was so pleased. I spent $185 on my daughter and I nails and my pedicure and was SO DISAPPOINTED all my nails popped off after 2 weeks then rapidly continue each week after. I wasn't looking for anything unreasonable nor free but even when the tech says the powder is no good and she had never seen nails come off completely I was extremely disappointed. I even continued to go after the tech that did my pedicure did a bad job. I believe if your Getting your natural nails done this shop would be great and you would enjoy the atmosphere! read more

This is a new salon that opened recently and is so close to my house. I signed in with the receptionist and she told me to pick my color. She then told me to wait 10 minutes which I said was okay. So I waited and I guess the owner got a chair ready for me and said someone would come soon. Well initially I wanted a spa pedicure and express mani but 10 minutes went by again and the receptionist passed me and I told her I wanted to change it to just an express pedicure. She said okay and that someone would be here shortly. I'm still waiting and I see her pass me again and I said I've waited too long and I'm just going to leave and she tells me that one of the guys was going to be done and it will be 2 minutes... well I waited and waited.. and finally I asked the lady that was doing nails right next to me if she could get me a towel. She helped dry my feet and as I was walking out the receptionist told me that they can do my nails now. As I was walking out I just told her "I waited more than 30 minutes.." The least someone could of done is say "Hey we're busy.. can you come back another time?" Not happy. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. My mom and I booked appointments this past Saturday for two pedicures and a dip manicure. First off the girl at the front was rude and unfriendly. It took a good 5 minutes to even be acknowledged and it took even longer to get sat down, mind you the place wasn't very busy. The pedicure was mediocre and I had to ask to even get lotion on my feet, let alone get my cuticles trimmed correctly. Today I went to get my dip nails taken off and an express manicure. Lately my nails have been extremely sore and weak so I decided to take a break from them for a while and I expressed that to my nail lady. She was extremely persistent on trying to get me to do shellac or dip on my nails because they were weak. I told her that I understood that they were weak and that's why I wanted to give my nails a break. From that point on, she gave me nothing but attitude. I told her that my nails hurt so asked if she could just take the dip off by soaking them and let her know that I did not like the electric file and of course she used the filer the entire time. She didn't care that my fingers were hurting the whole time she used the file on my fingers. She didn't even lower the speed after letting her know it was hurting me. Then she proceeded to sloppily paint my nails. I know that this horrible paint job wasn't because my nails were uneven because she filed them down so much that they were completely flat. She did extremely thick coats with no time in between to let them dry a little. Then she sat me at the nail drying station and after 20 minutes never came back to check on my nails so that I could leave. I then got up and asked one of the girls at the front how long it should take because I had been sitting there for 20 minutes and that the top layer was dry but underneath was thick and still wet. The lady I was talking to told me that they should be dry in 5-10 minutes. Right after, another front desk lady came up and said regular nail polish takes hours to dry and that's why people typically prefer to do dip or shellac. This isn't the first time I've gotten my nails painted with regular nail polish and the other times and other places that I went to didn't take "hours" to dry. read more

I love this place the only thing I would change about it is the organization/secretary .. great customer service except for the secretary who is kind of rude. On my last visit a customer came in and I guess the wait time was too long the service she wanted.. once the customer walked out the door, the secretary looked around and started talking to other customers about the customer who had just left which I found kind of unprofessional.
