I took over $5000 in clothes to be dry cleaned . from Pants to expensive shirt. all expensive designer clothes which should have been handled with care. half can back shrunk and all items came back glittery . I took my wedding dress here to be cleaned. We eloped in the mountains and the bottom was COVERED in mud. It practically looks new now! She was able to get 99% of the mud out, plus 100% of makeup stains and another random stain that was on the front of my dress. read more

Quality, prompt service served with personality! During these trying times this small, family owned business exceeded my expectations for a last minute fix. I originally had someone cancel last minute on me that was originally hemming and fitting a bridesmaid dress. With a weeks notice Meena was able to assist me, and within days my dress was ready!! The owner, Meena, has let me know that I have been one of VERY FEW customers throughout the pandemic. I want to start off by saying that it was my fault for not looking closely at the pickup receipt which listed 4 pieces instead of 5, as I thought my suit counted as one, versus two pieces. I think also that the lady up front was distracted while she watched her TV show and ate, but I was also in a hurry. A week later my wife picked up my clothes as I was out of town and when I made it home, I called to see if they had my grey pants from the suit, which was missing. Instead of listening to me, the owner chastised me as if I were a child. When I acquiesced to the error and simply noted that I would like a call if the pants showed up, she again rudely berated me and said I only dropped off four pieces, again completely on the attack. I'll take the loss on this one, my bad and I learned my lesson. read more

I've always had a good experience at this dry cleaner. The lady behind the counter is friendly and remembers my name. It usually takes 2-3 days to have my blazers or work dresses cleaned. They come neatly pressed and hung. And the prices seem reasonable. $9 to have a man's sport coat cleaned and pressed. read more

I had my wedding dress cleaned there after I waited to get it done for years. It had a drink spill on it and 3 inches of dirt from walking around the Vegas. I was shocked they were able to get out all the stains. It really looks wonderful they did such a great job I can't express how happy I am they got it cleaned like new again. After my wedding I was in need of getting my wedding dress preserved and I found Avalon Park Cleaners through Google. I am so happy that I found them because their service has been nothing but exceptional! I worked with Meena by phone since I live all the way on the other side of town. I had my dress and accessories shipped to their cleaners and they took care of the rest for me. They took the time on a Sunday to hand deliver my dress to me seeing that I have a baby and it was hard for me to drive all the way out to pick it up. The dress and accessories came out so clean and perfect after having an outdoor wedding which really roughened up my dress. Meena and her husband have been so kind, patient and helpful throughout the whole process, it really makes you wish that more places had this kind of customer service. Avalon Park Cleaner (Also known as Bridal Gown Preservation) bailed us out last minute! My daughter's wedding was Sunday, May 1st. After months of alteration fiasco's at two alteration shops the dress was finally ready for pick up Friday evening, less than two days before the wedding. We desperately called all around Orlando trying to find a place to press the dress same day. We called so many places! Avalon Park Cleaner was the only place able and willing to help same day. They had the dress done in just a few hours and did a superb job. And the price was very reasonable. I just dropped off my sons ROTC pants, shirt, sport coat and jacket this is his last year so they must be returned to the school dry cleaned. $30!! I'm in shock. I'm used to dropping off my clothing at a $2.75 per item place in Longwood. I mean really? $9.50 for one piece it's absurd it better be a darn good job and even so it's ridiculous. Wow ! I had bought a white linen blazer and wore it to work one time and ink from a printer leaked all over it. Big blotches all over it ! I even set it down and got it all over the back ! I could either throw it away or try to get them out. They were very honest with me and said they would do their best but no promises. I went to pick it up expecting to still see some black . None! They were able to make it look like new again ! The blazer is even an odd off white and there were no bleach marks or miss colorations or anything ! Very kind people and great service ! I left work early to make it to make it before they closed, I got there at 5:25 (they close at 5:30). When I arrived at 5:25 the doors were locked. Not the worst thing in the world, but when I brought it up upon my return I was basically argued with and told I was lying. A simple "I'm sorry we missed you" would have been fine. Sometimes simple empathy is worth more than being right or wrong. I'll NEVER go back. read more

Let me start by saying that I've been coming to Avalon Park Cleaners for about 5-years now as it's just a couple minutes from my house. While I do find it a bit pricey I've always had excellent service and when requested I'm able to get quick turnarounds at no additional charge. I travel for work and sometimes only have 1-2 days home to handle errands and things like dry cleaning before I'm back on the road again. The store owner is friendly, remembers my name when I come in and goes straight to my items without even thinking about the ticket or computer. She knows me as soon as I'm walking in the door. I would give 5-stars and ignore the pricing a bit because she's always provided the great service which, as a business man, I understand comes at a cost sometimes but I've also had a couple of events lately that have detracted my rating. I have taken in my shirts a few times recently and had to take them back for follow-up service due to marks/stains that were at the hands of the 3rd party cleaning service they use. She always rushes them right back out to get corrected and thus far I haven't had to replace the shirts but it's the inconvenience of having to return and re-clean shirts I need now... Not later. Also I've noticed sometimes that my shirts feel damp still when they are picked up as if the cleaning service they are using isn't fully drying them before sending them back to the store. Just little things like that which I expect to not happen for the price being charged. I know these things may not be in the complete control of Avalon Park Cleaners but as they choose vendors/suppliers I expect them to have that talk with their chosen providers so they stop happening; which I haven't seen. So... 3-stars for now still with a strong recommendation as a good business to work with. read more

The dry cleaning looks to be done okay, but they charged ~$47 for 7 pairs of pants. Almost $6 a pair; I don't think other places are nearly that expensive. I will probably try Hedec again and see what their prices are. read more
